RACE TWO

LIVING GRAND (5) looks well placed in this type of race and with the ability to do some work in his races can bring up his 100 start mile-stone in fine fashion. Grabbing the bronze in a 2nd division qualifier 2 starts back, he found them a bit out of reach from gate 6 last week. This looks his chance.

ITSMEGS (7) angled back to find position from gate 5 over the AP mile 2 starts back and might have been able to get a little closer than the 3m margin with a cleaner run. Forced to retreat last start, she was just too far back and with the gaps arriving in time here, she can be charging home.

NIKALONG HENRY (10) made a move at the bell last start and it took every bit of the stretch to arrive for the prize, claiming a half-neck victory. With winning confidence, he can challenge.

FEELINGFORARAINBOW (6) has been in good touch this season and was taken to AP last start where the run had merit when only 6m from the winner CAPTAIN COSMONAUT. The gate hurts, but he can’t be dismissed.

SELECTIONS: LIVING GRAND (5), ITSMEGS (7), NIKALONG HENRY (10), FEELINGFORARAINBOW (6)
SUGGESTED BET: LIVING GRAND (5) to win

RACE THREE

GOTTA MOMENT (5) has been in the top-3 at 3 of his 4 Aus appearances, the latest when best of the chasers behind the big win of LIFES BLACK in a sharp 1780m trip. 2 runs back he burned early and in a strongly run 2040m, faded as RANDOM TASK scored. Despite the wide gate, he looks the one here.

SPLASH OF GOLD (7) struck trouble in the run last tine out and did well under the circumstances when 6.5m from the winner MONTANA CHIEF. Chasing late behind TROUBLESOME DAVE 2 runs back, she can get a cosy trip here and when the gaps arrive be ready to strike.

BACK PAGE NEWS (8) started from this same gate last time out and was working home wide offe track and getting within a half-neck of victory. A winner 3 starts back, he will loom up.

KAANAPALI (1) went to the front from gate 4 over the AP mile last start and set a solid tempo, bore fading off as RANDOM TASK careered away to score. Back to the triangle from this gate, he will be gripping on.

SELECTIONS: GOTTA MOMENT (5), SPLASH OF GOLD (7), BACK PAGE NEWS (8), KAANAPALI (1)
SUGGESTED BET: GOTTA MOMENT (5) to win

RACE FOUR

WATTLEBANK FLYER (7)
was a long way back in the pack last start when trying to make closing ground over the AP 2138m trip. Too far away and wide when CHANTREY dictated in a slick mile the start prior, he will need some factors in his favour here, but he can swoop hard to arrive.

RORY MACH (4) sat off the speed at AP on Fri as the tempo was strong in front and made the closing shot a winning one, to arrive for a 4m victory. He should appreciate this grade of claimer and with a solid record here at Redcliffe, look for him swooping home hard.

KARLOO MAC (8) returns to claiming ranks after his past 2 have been in stronger line-ups. Buried in the run last time as MAFUTA VAUTIN dictated in front, he can be around the money here.

OUR BUSCEMI (5) did some work early in the run last start and the closing panels set in front by HEZ RAZOR SHARP made it impossible for the chasers. Back to this he can chime in.

SELECTIONS: WATTLEBANK FLYER (7), RORY MACH (4), KARLOO MAC (8), OUR BUSCEMI (5)
SUGGESTED BET: WATTLEBANK FLYER (7) to win

RACE FIVE

SUPREME BANNER (2) opened his Aus account last start when finishing best own the outside to claim victory over the AP mile. The start prior from the 2nd line he worked home well here over the sprint trip when 5m from RAGING INFERNO. With the improved gate, he can go back-to-back.

HIGH ON MONTANA (1) rolled forward from gate 10 here 3 starts back and content to face the breeze, proved too strong to claim the prize. His past 2 has seen him attempt similar results from the 2nd line, but just proved a little out of reach. With the improved gate, he can give this a shake.

ALOT OF COST (3) rolled forward from gate 4 last start to find the front and after setting an even tempo was grabbed in the stretch. Not far away from 3 pegs the start prior, he is in the mix.

LETS DIG IT (7) made the most of conditions here last week and sent to the front, took control to take them all the way. Tough from the breeze the start prior, he can be thereabouts.

SELECTIONS: SUPREME BANNER (2), HIGH ON MONTANA (1), ALOT OF COST (3), LETS DIG IT (7)
SUGGESTED BET: SUPREME BANNER (2) to win

RACE SIX

BUNDJALUNG BEAUTY (1)
lands her best gate in some time and in a race where the majority are looking to recapture some form, the gate plays a big advantage. She did some early work in the run last start and fought, while 5 runs back she was grabbed late when leading. This looks her chance.

IMPRESSIVE DIAMOND (7) was 2nd up from a freshen last start when sent to the post as fav and never really firing a shot behind LETS DIG IT. The start prior she worked home in good order from gate 10, when not too far away and with a cosy trip here will be ready to strike when the gaps open.

SCOTT TOM (8) grabbed the bronze here 3 starts back when landing in the pocket trail and chasing home behind COBBLER LANE. He didn’t see much space last start and against these is in the mix.

FAMOUS SHOES (3) has been forced to work home wide off the track from well back in the field at his past couple, while 3 back he was run down when in front. From the gate here he can be handy enough to chime in.

SELECTIONS: BUNDJALUNG BEAUTY (1), IMPRESSIVE DIAMOND (7), SCOTT TOM (8), FAMOUS SHOES (3)
SUGGESTED BET: BUNDJALUNG BEAUTY (1) to win

RACE SEVEN

MISS MIA (7) will take good benefit from her latest start when resuming from a let-up. Showing good speed off the arm, she took the trail when finishing mid-field behind BETTOR BECAUSE. She will need some factors in her favour here, but can finish hard to claim the prize here.

ZARAS ALL SMILES (10) rolled forward to face the breeze over the AP mile 2 starts back and fought gamey when 7m from the winner SUPREME BANNER. She made an early error last start but worked home strongly. The gate hurts, but against her own age can be in the picture.

KOOKABURRAPRINCESS (1) started her career the best way possible, leading throughout from this same gate to score. This will be another step up, yet with the experience, can be right in the fight.

SHESFEELINPRECIOUS (9) has been in the money at 3 of her past 5 outings, the latest when hitting the line in good order to get within a half-head of victory. The gate hurts but she can finish hard.

SELECTIONS: MISS MIA (7), ZARAS ALL SMILES (10), KOOKABURRAPRINCESS (1), SHESFEELINPRECIOUS (9)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-7-9-10

RACE EIGHT

With plenty of these looking to find form GIVE ME FIFTY (3) might just be going better than his form suggests to be able to end a long winless streak. Angled to the pegs last start and down the line behind TROUBLESOME DAVE, he wasn’t suited the start prior in the breeze. This can be his chance to bounce-back.

PEGGY STARDUST (4) only has the 1 career win to her name, yet her past 2 starts haven’t been too bad behind similar fields. Chasing from the trail last start, if she can get forward in the early stages here, she might just be able to sneak into the money.

BERTILS DELIGHT (9) started from inside the 2nd line last start and chased hard when 6m from the in-form COBBLER LANE. 9m from BACK PAGE NEWS the start prior, she can be around the money here.

ZED EXPRESS (5) lands another tough gate and he has been luckless his past few from similar gates. Caught wide and forced to snag back last time, with even luck he can chime in against these.

SELECTIONS: GIVE ME FIFTY (3), PEGGY STARDUST (4), BERTIL DELIGHT (9), ZED EXPRESS (5)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE NINE

MY ULTIMATE STAR (6)
steps out in Qld for the 1st time for Jarrod Alchin and arrives after a last start error cost him his chance in a NSW Breeders Challenge semi-final. A tough winner from the breeze at Penrith 4 starts back when resuming from a let-up, he followed that with a 2nd. This looks winnable.

BONNIES CAM (4) was strong in claiming victory here 3 starts back when proving too strong in claiming a 2m victory. Placed at his past 2 attempts since that outing, his latest run here was a solid effort when only grabbed in the closing stages by MEGA STAR. He can throw down a challenge.

FOND MEMORIES (7) went to the pegs from the 2nd line last start to save ground and chased home well to grab the bronze. With options as the lone 2nd line runner, she can be chiming in here.

CAM YOU FEEL IT (1) hasn’t had much luck in 2 starts, striking trouble on debut that ended his race and then last time from gate 5 again didn’t have a clear passage. He is stays under notice

SELECTIONS: MY ULTIMATE STAR (6), BONNIES CAM (4), FOND MEMORIES (7), CAM YOU FEEL IT (1)
SUGGESTED BET: MY ULTIMATE STAR (6) to win
