RACE TWO

EPIRUS BOY (1) released the speed from this gate last start and then after the cosy trip had too many bullets to fire up the passing lane to arrive for the prize. Within 3m of the winner the start prior, he lands all the options from the gate once again and looks to get every chance to repeat.

TOP FLIGHT CRUIZE (4) will take good benefit from his latest start when resuming from a spell over the Marburg 2200m trip. Pressing on to take control from gate 4, he fought all the way, grabbed in the closing strides and beaten a neck. His form prior to spelling was solid and he can shake this.

MISS CATALINA (8) was locked on the pegs from an inside 2nd line gate last start at Tamworth when finishing with the bronze and 3m from the winner. With a cosy trip on offer here, she can chime in.

ARBIT MAJOR (9) secured a soft trip over the AP 2138m last time out and was sound to the line when within 10m of the winner. With even luck in transit he can bob up in the money here.

SELECTIONS: EPIRUS BOY (1), TOP FLIGHT CRUIZE (4), MISS CATALINA (8), ARBIT MAJOR (9)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-4-8-9

RACE THREE

MISTER BLACKJACK (2) was wide off the track last start when trying to work into the contest and was finding the line in nice style under the tough run, only 8m from the winner. Within 1m of the winner the start prior, he lands his best gate for some time and can look to use it to full advantage.

RUATO BAY (9) returns from a freshen after last sighted when finding the line in good order from a long way back behind subsequent winner OUR BONDI BEACH. Mid-field in a qualifier the start prior behind IMA TOP TYCOON, he is never far from the action and with the right trip can challenge.

READILY (1) hasn’t really had conditions to suit in recent starts, yet from the ace here should enjoy a nice run in transit. Luckless 2 runs back and then too far back last time, he will be ready to slice the gaps.

OUR BUSCEMI (8) found the running line from gate 5 last start and hit the line in good order to grab the silver behind RORY MACH in claiming company. This type of race suits and he won’t be far away.

SELECTIONS: MISTER BLACKJACK (2), RUATO BAY (9), READILY (1), OUR BUSCEMI (8)
SUGGESTED BET: MISTER BLACKJACK (2) to win

RACE FOUR

WILD ABOUT TOWN (1)
was well beaten here 3 starts back after snagging back from gate 6 and then fading out. Given a freshen, he has returned in better order, with placings at his past 2 attempts. Using the passing lane to get within 5m of the winner last start, he can utilise the cheap trip to grab a sneaky win.

ZARAS ALL SMILES (4) pressed ahead from gate 6 to the breeze last start and despite striking some issues in transit, fought on to finish mid-field. Game in the breeze the start prior when sent forward from the 2nd line, she can get across cheaper in this and be looking to land career win number two.

SUPREME BANNER (10) was a long way back trying to work into the contest last start at AP, but was unable to eat into the deficit. Struggling in his previous 2 starts here, this looks a mores suitable task.

LETS DIG IT (7) will be hoping for a slice of luck to find some open space from this alley. A winner from the pocket trail here 2 starts back, if the gaps arrive in time, he can certainly take his chances.

SELECTIONS: WILD ABOUT TOWN (1), ZARAS ALL SMILES (4), SUPREME BANNER (10), LETS DIG IT (7)
SUGGESTED BET: WILD ABOUT TOWN (1) win/place 1x4

RACE FIVE

JUST JOSHIN (2) was looking to capitalise on a rare front-line gate last start and from the ace looked to take them all the way. After a steady opening 800m, he ramped the tempo, only to be collared in the closing stages with ARK ME taking the prize. Back to the sprint trip, he can hold on this time.

MISS MIA (1) will have to take on the older horses here, but from the gate will get the perfect trip to enjoy a cosy run and be ready to take the closing shot. A winner here 2 starts back when using the passing lane to arrive for the prize, she found them a bit too stiff last time. The cold sit suits.

STUDLEIGH WILL (9) led them up here 2 starts back and was in for the fight when within 2m of the winner. Too fast in front last start against much stronger opponents, he will be better suited here.

DOLLARBILL (6) has no favours from the wide gate, but he might just find this a shade easier than recent outings. Buried in the run last start, he was of the 2nd line the start prior and can chime in.

SELECTIONS: JUST JOSHIN (2), MISS MIA (1), STUDLEIGH WILL (9), DOLLARBILL (6)
SUGGESTED BET: JUST JOSHIN (2) to win

RACE SIX

FIRE ME UP (8)
worked to the front from gate 2 before releasing over the AP sprint trip last start when making her race debut. Closing out to grab the silver, she went within a half-neck of victory. Taking experience from the debut and with a slice of luck from this gate, she can open her account.

BETTERTHANLEGO (1) has placed in both career starts to date, with both runs here on the triangle. From this gate last start she used the passing lane to get within 5m of the winner, the smart GOOD AS IT GETS. Only 2m in arrears when on debut, she resumes from a freshen and can challenge.

SHESFEELINSPECIAL (5) will take benefit from her debut when snagging back in the early stages from gate 4 to find position. Well-supported in the market, she can atone here despite a tough gate.

BRONSKI MACARENA (3) has placed in 3 of 8 as she looks to break the maiden tag and with good early speed can look for the pegs. Not pacing well early last start, she can be sharper in this.

SELECTIONS: FIRE ME UP (8), BETTERTHANLEGO (1), SHESFEELINSPECIAL (5), BRONSKI MACARENA (3)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE SEVEN

This looms as a tricky little contest, yet if NON PASSARE (7) can secure the right factors in his favour, he will get his chance to claim the prize. Not suited when forced to do some early work last start, he was only grabbed in front in the closing stages here 2 runs back. With the right trip he can arrive.

MONUMENTAL (2) didn’t have much luck last start in a much stronger race than he meets here, running into dead-ends in the stretch. Snagged back to the poles from gate 6 here 2 starts back, he charged home in the closing stages and despite being winless on the triangle, is right in this.

GOOD BOY OLIVER (1) rolled forward to the breeze last start from the 2nd line and was in for the fight when 7 in arrears of the winner and claiming the bronze. He will be gripping on here.

BUNDJALUNG BEAUTY (4) set a new career benchmark last start when leading throughout over the AP mile. That made it wins in 2 of her past 3 and with good early speed, she will take an early shot.

SELECTIONS: NON PASSARE (7), MONUMENTAL (2), GOOD BOY OLIVER (1), BUNDJALUNG BEAUTY (4)
SUGGESTED BET:  NON PASSARE (7) to win

RACE EIGHT

DAENERYS STORMBORN (11)
features in a stable switch and presents in this race for new trainer Wayne Graham. Returning from a spell 4 starts back over the AP 2138m, the run was sound. Meeting stronger trotters since, her Redcliffe record is strong and she can bounce back.

MAJESTIC WHIZ (5) found the pocket trail over this trip last start and chased gamely when 2m from the winner. There were excuses her 2 starts prior while her 2 runs previous saw her finish runner-up on both occasions, despite being well held. With even luck in transit she can bob up at odds.

JETER (12) has the big handicap to negotiate, yet he has that mark owing to his form against much stronger opponents in recent starts. Only 4m from MAJESTIC COURTNEY 2 runs back, he is a threat.

MONORAIL (6) started fav from a 40m tape last week when finishing 10m in arrears of the winner. He worked home soundly the start prior and won’t be too far away again in this.

SELECTIONS: DAENERYS STORMBORN (11), MAJESTIC WHIZ (5), JETER (12), MONORAIL (6)
SUGGESTED BET: DAENERYS STORMBORN (11) to win

RACE NINE

RUM AND SCHOTZ (3)
started from outside the 2nd line last start when sent to the pegs looking for short-cuts. Running home soundly to finish mid-field behind the comfortable winner ALOT OF COST. He should appreciate meeting his own age here and can claim a race with many looking for form.

GINATIANO (6) has the wide gate to overcome as she returns to start her 3YO season. Given 3 trials to prepare, they have been tidy pipe openers on each occasion, the latest coming where the form out of the trail has held up. Taking improvement from the run, this is still within reach.

REGALIA (7) was buried away against the markers from this gate last start and was looking for gaps in the stretch. Likely to need some luck again, look for him probing for the openings.

DANCING IN MANOLOS (1) went within 4m of the winner last start at Tamworth after securing the cosy trip on the markers. With another soft run on offer she can be thereabouts at the finish.

SELECTIONS: RUM AND SCHOTZ (3), GINATIANO (6), REGALIA (7), DANCING IN MANOLOS (1)
SUGGESTED BET:
