RACE TWO

ALBION ARK (3) is a different horse when he can get to the front and importantly the marble has fallen in his favour. A winner here 4 starts back when sent straight to the front from gate 3, he was never in danger in claiming a 3m victory. He closed in good order behind BLACK HAWK JOE over 2138m here 2 starts back and this looks ideal.

A RAINBOW DELIGHT (6) is a smart filly that will be 3rd up from a break here. A classy all the way winner when resuming, highlighted by a slick closing 800m where she ripped home in sub 55. Grinding away from the breeze over the 2138m last start, she will throw down a big challenge.

TEARAWAY DIAMOND (1) started from inside the 2nd line at Redcliffe last start when 2nd up from a break. Angled away from the pegs, he chased home for the silver. With a cosy trip he can chime in.

COPPERFIELD (9) was forced to roll the sleeves at his Aus debut here 2 starts back when sent to the breeze from the 2nd line. The improved gate 2nd up was all the difference when taking them all the way. He has claims.

SELECTIONS: ALBION ARK (3), A RAINBOW DELIGHT (6), TEARAWAY DIAMOND (1), COPPERFIELD (9)
SUGGESTED BET: ALBION ARK (3) to win

RACE THREE

SPIKE ROBYN (4) start from the 2nd line last time out and not much went right, striking trouble and then trying to make ground from a long way back. Tough in the breeze over the 2138m here 2 starts back when 6m in arrears of the winner HANDSOME HERO, he looks to have found conditions to suit.

IMASPORTSSTAR (8) has now had 3 starts since arriving in Qld off the back of a spell and is yet to get an even share of luck in any of those outings. Snagged back from gate 7 last start, he was hitting the line in nice style when 8m from the winner. If he can spot a gap with track to work with, he can challenge.

RECIPE FOR DREAMING (2) will be fitter from his latest start when 1st up from a break. Finding the front before releasing over the 2138m, he was only 5m from the winner. He can feature from the gate.

COOLIE KID (9) makes his Qld debut for Donny Smith and arrives a 5-time winner, the last of those wins coming back in January 2019. With 2 trials to prepare, the latest a tidy hit-out, he can chime in.

SELECTIONS: SPIKE ROBYN (4), IMASPORTSSTAR (8), RECIPE FOR DREAMING (2), COOLIE KID (9)
SUGGESTED BET: SPIKE ROBYN (4) to win

RACE FOUR

He may have some ordinary numbers next to his name, yet NEWPORT DREAMZ (4) is going far better than his returns suggest. Striking trouble twice within the same 400m period last start, he was still only 10m from the winner. Finding position cheaply will be key, but the improved gate is a huge plus after his 3 runs back from a break have all been from gate 10.

ROCKNROLL CLASSIC (3) is in great touch, finishing in the money at his past 4 in succession. Doing it the tough way last start over this trip after being sent forward from gate 6, he was in for the fight to be 2m from the winner. Too sharp in front over the mile the start prior, he will give them a target.

SPRINGFIELD SPIRIT (8) found the pocket trail at his last outing when showing early speed from gate 4 and then taking cover. Finishing best, he will get a cosy trip and will probe for gaps in this to offer.

STORMY RAIDER (6) took on a qualifier over this trip at his 1st look at The Creek where he out-muscled them from the breeze in claiming a 5m victory. Making an error last start, he can atone.

SELECTIONS: NEWPORT DREAMZ (4), ROCKNROLL CLASSIC (3), SPRINGFIELD SPIRIT (8), STORMY RAIDER (6)
SUGGESTED BET: NEWPORT DREAMZ (4) to win

RACE FIVE

ABERCROMBIE TAB (3) has placed in all 3 appearances here at The Creek, the latest here on Tues. Eased from gate 5, he was buried a long way back on the poles and when asked to chime in was attacking the line nicely to grab the silver. Tough in the breeze the start prior behind subsequent winner JIVE, he looks to get his chance.

REMEMBER ME KNOW (9) will strip fitter from his latest start when 2nd up from a break. Resuming when hitting the line in good order for the bronze behind SNOOP STRIDE, he could not pick them up late last start over the 2138m. Back to the mile suits and he can look to throw down a challenge.

ELZBOY (6) returns from a freshen and has featured in a stable switch, lining up for Jack Butler for the 1st time. Finishing best to claim victory here 2 starts back, he is in the mix despite the gate.

MY ULTIMATE HELL (1) does not find victory that often yet he has come up with his preferred conditions here. Making nice closing ground last start, he will be ready to make a passing lane play.

SELECTIONS: ABERCROMBIE TAB (3), REMEMBER ME KNOW (9), ELZBOY (6), MY ULTIMATE HELL (1)
SUGGESTED BET: ABERCROMBIE TAB (3) to win

RACE SIX

FEEL THE REIGN (8) eased from gate 5 last start when hitting the line strongly in the closing stages to grab the bronze behind KETUT. That followed a luckless effort the start prior when retreating from gate 6 and then hitting dead-ends when needing space. With early options as the lone 2nd line runner, he can arrive.

LEXUS ON THE BEACH (5) lit the lamps here on Tuesday from gate 1 over this trip. Looking to fight them off up the stretch, it was only the passing lane sniper SABRAGE that was able to get past him. Not too far away 2 starts back, the return to claiming grade suits and he will be in for the fight.

WATTLEBANK FLYER (6) held the pocket trail from inside the 2nd line last start over the sprint trip when settling for the silver behind KETUT. The wide gate stings but the 2138m is in his favour.

ONE WISE MAN (3) could not go with them last start when the sprint went on in finishing down the line. Only 4m from the winner here 2 starts back, settling closer to the action gives him place hopes.

SELECTIONS: FEEL THE REIGN (8), LEXUS ON THE BEACH (5), WATTLEBANK FLYER (6), ONE WISE MAN (3)
SUGGESTED BET: FEEL THE REIGN (8) to win

RACE SEVEN

HAVING THE FAITH (6) secured successive victories here 4 and 3 starts back with wins at the 2138m and the mile. Swooping home over the top of them to claim a smart win at the mile, he was probing for gaps here last start when within 5m of the winner VIRGIL. Despite a sticky gate, he can take this.

LEFT A HURRIKANE (3) landed inside the 2nd line last start and when the field found position, he was buried in transit when finishing 10m in arrears of the winner WICKED AZZ. Making the most of the two-hole here 2 starts back, he led throughout and from this gate can fire the 1st shot to challenge.

WICKED AZZ (4) appreciated the drop in class following her effort in the SE Oaks when taking them all the way over the mile 2 starts back. Gunned down over this trip last start, she is in the mix again.

SNOOP STRIDE (8) is having a fruitful winter in Qld with 2 wins and finishing runner-up on 2 occasions in 5 starts on this track. Charging home to get within a half-neck of the win here on Tuesday, he can feature once again.

SELECTIONS: HAVING THE FAITH (6), LEFT A HURRIKANE (3), WICKED AZZ (4), SNOOP STRIDE (8)
SUGGESTED BET: HAVING THE FAITH (6) to win

RACE EIGHT

SIGNOR JUJON (3) started from the 2nd line last start when tracking home strongly wide off the track to grab the silver when 2m in arrears of the winner DEVOUGED. Not suited the start prior at the 2138m when fading out, he finds the right conditions to press forward and gets his chance to add to his win here of 5 runs back when leading from this gate over this trip.

SUNNY RICE (6) broke the maiden tag last start when finishing best in claiming a narrow victory at start number 15. Only 3m in arrears of the winner BLUE SHARD here 3 starts back when doing it the hard way, she can build off the confidence of the 1st win to lay down a challenge in this.

SIXPENNY RED (5) was having her 1st outing for Graham Dwyer last start when working home to grab the silver at Redcliffe behind the in-form WESTERN SHOWGIRL. The gate stings but she can chime in.

PHIL BROMAC (8) pressed ahead to find the front here last week over this trip and was gripping on when nabbed on the wire by SUNNY RICE, beaten a head. With options as the lone 2nd line runner, he can feature.

SELECTIONS: SIGNOR JUJON (3), SUNNY RICE (6), SIXPENNY RED (5), PHIL BROMAC (8)
SUGGESTED BET: SIGNOR JUJON (3) to win

RACE NINE

AURORA (4) has had a super season and reaches her Grand Final in great order. After 5 successive wins where she has shown superior manners combined with good speed and stamina, she will attempt a sweep of this series. Her last start 6th was her 1st time taking on the older horses and she was far from disgraced when not that far from the winner. Back to her age, she looks hard to stop.

MISS MAIA (6) has shown glimpses of brilliance that have been overshadowed by poor manners. Her win here 4 starts back was breath-taking after looking to have lost all hope before resetting and charging home to score. Within 2m of AURORA 2 starts back after making error, if she is close enough and can do everything right, she has the class to challenge. It is a big IF.

INDEFENSIBLE (2) has scored 2 wins this season here at headquarters, with both wins coming when taking on the older horses. Making an error last start that ended his chances when last behind AURORA, he was strong the start prior in leading all the way. He will look to add the 3YO title to his 2YO Springboard from last season.

SELECTIONS: AURORA (4), MISS MAIA (6), INDEFENSIBLE (2)
SUGGESTED BET: AURORA (4) to win

RACE TEN

The 2nd running of the Springboard Series for the 2YO Trotters reaches the climax with the Final and it could well be a case of whomever brings the best manners might be the winner. OKANAGAN (2) was faultless in his runs early in his campaign, to the point that he scored 3 successive wins. Placed his past 2, he was again off-stride last start when chasing home ALDEBARAN SELENA. He is up to it.

ALDEBARAN SELENA (3) was shooting for a hat-trick of victories here last start when making a mess of the start and then making a further error in the run when holding on for the bronze. Her win 3 starts back when stepping cleanly was a dominant effort and took almost 3 seconds off the age track record. The ability is there, provided last start was a blip on the radar, she can take this.

DEAD SET MUSCLE (1) has been the runner-up at her past 2 starts, mainly due to the fact she has been safe in her gait and away cleanly. From the inside alley, if she can repeat those displays, she looms as a place player.

SELECTIONS: OKANAGAN (2), ALDEBARAN SELENA (3), DEAD SET MUSCLE (1)
SUGGESTED BET:
