RACE TWO

JOY MAKER (1) has been freshened since her last appearance and will line up here on the triangle for the 1^st time. Sent to the post as fav 2 starts back from gate 2, she was 1^st to the pegs before releasing for the trail and holding 3^rd behind WHATTA GOOD REASON. The gate is a big plus and she can open her account.

FORGIVE ME (7) held on for 3^rd on debut after securing the trial from gate 1. Forced to do it the tough way last start, she was in for the fight when not too far away from the winner SHERBETS CHOICE. With an economical trip on offer, she can be ready to make a play when the gaps arrive.

STAR KISSER (4) is a Pet Rock gelding on debut for Shawn Grimsey. With a tidy trial here, his latest trial was behind some older experienced campaigners and from the gate stays under notice.

KATANA (3) will find this a few shades easier than her debut when taking on a heat of the Redcliffe Sales Series. Taking some benefit from that, she can be an improver in this line-up.

RACE FIVE

After a string of runs where he wasn’t too far away but wasn’t really threatening, BEEF CITY STARZZZ (1) has worked his way back into form, winning twice and a narrow runner up in his past 4 starts. Taking them all the way over the 2040m here 2 starts back, he was closing strongly when only a neck shy of victory last time. With the early options, he looks to get his chance.

ALLSTAR SEA (7) continues to work closer to a victory, placed in 4 of his past 5 appearances. The latest was from gate 8 when working home in nice style wide off the track to get within a half-head of the winner. Hoping the 1 looks to hold, he will get the economical trip and be probing the gaps.

MALIBU DREAM (2) was 2^nd up from a break when making the most of the lamp lighting duties to dictate to victory here 2 starts back. With the good gate and added fitness, she is in the mix.

STORM GILBERT (4) has placed in 4 of his past 7 here at the triangle, the latest when fighting hard from the breeze and only 3m from the winner MONTANA EXPRESS. He can throw it down again.

THANKHEAVNFORGIRLS (5) held the pocket trail here 2 starts back and with the economical trip held on for 2^nd over behind BARBOO. Doing some early work last start, she is a place chance here.

TRENTLEIGH (4) has been runner-up at his past 3 in succession, grabbed on the line when a neck short of victory here last week. That looked his chance for a breakthrough and a place appears best again.

Another race late in the night where the 2040m trip will sort them out. DARTESIAN (7) will need a slice of luck from inside the 2^nd line but if he can sight the gaps in time, can arrive. Working home in good order to grab the silver behind SISTER FEELGOOD last start, he is worth a stab.

CARIBBEAN ROCKET (4) started a red figure fav in that same race from gate 8 last week but could only manage 6^th, finishing 7m in arrears of the winner. Working home soundly along the passing lane the start prior, finding early position will be key to his chances here.

NEVASANO (6) eased from gate 5 to find position before chiming in late to grab the bronze behind SISTER FELLGOOD. Fitter for the outing after 2 runs back from a break, she has podium claims.

STAR OF WONDER (3) was taken to the pegs from the four-hole last start, looking for the short-cuts home in finishing mid-field behind MOLLYS SECRET. Winless in over 18 months, he can place in this.
