Queensland online auction starts Friday

Bidding for the Mixed Standardbred Online Auction - to be conducted by Darren Ebert & Co - will commence at 10am on Friday July 17, and will close at 4pm on Sunday, July 19.

The sale has attracted 21 entries including going and untried stock, three-year-olds, two-year-olds, weanlings and broodmares.

The offering includes the last start 1:54.8 Albion Park winner Uncle Shank* and the 2019 QBRED Breeders Classic 2YO Final winner Amaya Becomes.

Other entries include the Albion Park winner Feel The Reign, the recent Redcliffe winners Melton Max Gentle and Melton Lucky, and Doolittle Di, a younger sister to champion three-year-old Governor Jujon.

There’s young stock by the successful sires Gotta Go Cullect, Boom Boom Hall, Quality Cam and Melton Gunna and the world acclaimed trotting sires Sebastian K and Centurion ATM, as well as the well-bred broodmares Presidential Night (dam of Uncle Shank) and Hiona Mountain NZ.

*A previous edition of this news article indicated Uncle Shank (Warrawee Needy – Presidential Night) was QBRED eligible. An administrative error led to the horse being made eligible for the scheme and this error has now been rectified, with any online bids available to be rescinded by the auctioneers.
