In December 2019, it was announced that the Sunshine Coast Guineas would be re-named the Winx Guineas in honour of the might mare, whose 2015 win in the same race kick-started her famous 33-win streak.

We chat to Winx's Managing Owner Peter Tighe and Sunshine Coast Turf Club CEO John Miller about the race named the champ's honour, and her legacy that lives at Corbould Park.

We also speak to Sunshine Coast trainer Stu Kendrick about this year's race favourite Star Of Michelin, and what we can hope to see from the star three-year-old this Saturday.
