Well-travelled freelance driver Paul Diebert became a member of the 300 Club when he achieved his 300th career victory aboard French Diva at Redcliffe on May 24.

Leeton-born Diebert moved to Queensland in February 2014, landing plenty of winners including a victory in the Queensland Young Drivers Championship Series before travelling to Perth for a stint in WA from August 2016.

Diebert returned to Queensland in April 2017 and has gained plenty of opportunities from many trainers, including Jack Butler, who he was employed by upon his return.

Driver Darren Weeks also achieved his 300th winner as a driver when January owned and trained by his partner Kylie Rasmussen won Race 2 at Redcliffe on June 6.

To celebrate Weeks drove a second winner later that night, Darby Brights, who is also owned and trained by Kylie Rasmussen. Weeks returned from a spell winning at his first drive back aboard Skyfella Cam at Albion Park on April 27 and from a total of 22 drives this season, at time of writing, has driven eight winners and six placings – an excellent strike rate
