RACE TWO

LITTLE CHANGE (8) worked home well from the 2^nd line to score here over this trip 4 starts back when making his 1^st Qld appearance. Starting from gate 4 at his next run he was 8m from JANUARY. Working home nicely behind SLICE OF HEAVEN last start, he can look to finish best of the bunch.

JANUARY (6) found her race 2 starts back and working home strongly from the 2^nd line was too classy for her opponents to score. Taken back to AP last start she was well back in the pack when making late ground behind NONE BETTOR. Despite the wide gate, back to Redcliffe is a big plus.

BONNIE JUJON (5) was only 9m from ELENIARK in the mares Triad 3 starts back and followed that with a 3^rd albeit a long way from the dominant ARGYLE BEACH. Another that can make the most of returning to the triangle.

KATNISS (9) chased valiantly to grab the silver behind the all the way winner KAANAPALI 2 starts back and then found a suitable target when finishing best to score over the 2040m last start. With the right cart home she can feature.

RACE THREE

LETHAL PROMISE (8) couldn’t hold the front off gate 1 last week and paid the price when carted back behind a tiring leader. When he did get into the passing lane all the momentum was gone. There doesn’t look to be a lot of strength on the front line here and he gets every chance to atone.

WHAT A FLIGHT (1) has started 4 times since being sent for a break and her runs have been fair. From the gate she can look to take a trail on the right cover and be ready to take 1^st crack at the passing lane. Place hope from the gate.

BIG BEAT (6) finished best to score here 4 starts back and has met stronger line-ups in the 3 starts since. The wide gate dents his chances yet he still has claims in this field.

TASCOTT LADY (9) has placed in 3 of her past 4 starts and all have been from tough draws. Last start she finished best of the chasing pack behind SHADOW HUNTER and with the right trail can fill the exotics again.

RACE FOUR

ALLNIGHT MLADY (1) has started twice since arriving in Qld and finds the perfect race to open her account. Her 1^st up run when 3^rd to INVITE ONLY was a nice effort and last time wasn’t suited from gate 7 at AP. With the ace gate she can hold the early advantage and keep them chasing.

LIVE IT LOUD (3) was sent forward last start at AP and found the pocket trail when finishing a 6m 3^rd to NONE BETTOR. Finding the front here 2 starts back she was rolling in front in setting a strong tempo and just faded late. She will be in the mix again here.

SHADOW HUNTER (9) was well supported to make his Qld debut a winning one and from gate 3 did all the hard work in landing the prize by 8m in comfortable fashion. The 2^nd line makes it tougher but he should strip fitter for the run and can throw down a challenge.

MAJOR TRALEE (5) settled in the running line last start and after looking to be blocked for a run he found space and darted through a gap to arrive on the line. With even luck in the run he shouldn’t be too far away again.

RACE FIVE

HERES MY NUMBER (3) hasn’t been too far away in recent starts and last start was doing his best work in the closing stages when 6m from TOOK YOUR TIME. That followed a tidy effort behind COREY WILLIAM. He can settle handy from this alley and look to land the winning blow.

MY MAGIC MERLIN (4) was taken back from gate 5 on Fri night and couldn’t work into the contest when down the line behind STATEMENT PLEASE. His run 2 starts back when cutting the breeze outside RUHTREBO was a good effort and sent forward here can lay down the challenge.

TELLELLA (5) was looking for space and was hitting the line strongly last start behind TOOK YOUR TIME to get within a head of victory. No favours again from the gate but with even luck in transit can be find the podium.

DARBY BRIGHTS (8) will appreciate the return to Redcliffe after taking on AP company in recent starts. Working hard in the breeze outside the winner MISS HOOLLIGAN last start she can be an improver here.

RACE SIX

THE FORMULA ONE (6) started from inside the 2^nd line last start and didn’t get a clean shot after being buried away and finishing 7m from the winner PITTSWORTH MAN. Runner-up at his previous 2 starts, the gate is no luxury, but he looks the best horse in the race and he can look to show that here.

OVERCOMMITTED (2) was having her 1^st start in 12 months at Marburg and sent to the front held off all challengers to score a handy all the way win. She will need to step it up here but fitter for the 1^st up run and with the speed to find the pegs, she will be in the mix.

CURRUMBIN KID (10) started fav last start from gate 1 and after holding the front kept a steady tempo before being grabbed and finishing an 8m 2^nd. In this grade he won’t be far away.

ITS YOU NOT ME (8) has claimed the bronze at his past 2 starts when settling in the running line. From this gate he can press though to hold a position and looks to get his chance to finish in the money once again.

RACE SEVEN

BEEF CITY BLAZE (1) has started 3 times since returning from a break and secures her best gate this campaign. From the 2^nd line at Marburg last start she didn’t look entirely comfortable in finishing mid-field. With good early speed she can hold the early advantage and will be gripping on.

ALLYS FELLA (7) made a winning debut at Marburg when sent to the front from gate 3 at Marburg and once in control held on to score a nice win. With the experience and fitness from that run, he will get the cosy trip here and can look to make the closing shot a winning one.

TAP IT IN (2) was 1^st up from a long break last start and sent to the post as fav was never closer than 3 wide. He will take good benefit from that and he can look to apply the acid in the run here and will be right in the fight.

HIGH ON MONTANA (3) will be tightened following his return from a break when taken back from gate 7 and then finishing on strongly in the latter stages to be an 8m 3^rd behind NOTMUCHUPTOP. With the improved gate he can be a big improver.

RACE EIGHT

DOWN UNDER RORS (1) was working hard in the breeze on Sat night before throwing his chances away at the 600m wit a break. His run at Redcliffe 2 starts back was a top effort after making a mess of the start. He is knocking on the door, just needs to bring his manners and he can waltz in.
 
NO TRANSACTIONS (3) was 1^st up for Gary Whitaker when taking on a Marburg 2200m event. Safely away he looked to take them all the way with his condition just giving up in the latter stages. Fitter for that run and off the front tape, he is right in the mix here.

OLE SUN (7) was a winner from the mobile here 5 starts back and backed that up with a Marburg victory. Below his best at his past 3 starts he can look to turn it around here and has podium claims.

HIGH CLOUD LASS (6) pressed on to the front on Sat night but couldn’t hold on when dropping back to finish 12m from the winner. A runner-up on 7 of 13 appearances here at Redcliffe, she can step cleanly and will be in the mix.

RACE NINE

ADRIFT (2) was 1^st up for his 3YO term at AP last Thurs and was sent to the post a red figure fav. Finding running line cover he was trapped in traffic and never saw daylight. A winner of the Triad Consolation at his last 2YO appearance, he will be tightened from the run and finds the right race to breakthrough.

MATRON JUJON (1) pressed forward from gate 5 last start and worked in the run when going under by a head as an odds-on fav. 3 starts back she took on a much stronger AP race when not far away in claiming the bronze behind SOMWHEREOVARAINBOW and from the gate she gets her chance.

IFYOUBELIEVE (3) was buried away on the pegs last start from inside the 2^nd line when finishing mid-field behind SISTER FEELGOOD. Still searching for a maiden breaking win he may not get that this time but he has place claims.

SHEZA GALVINATOR (5) makes her 3YO debut following a 5 start 2YO term that returned one placing. Only 3m from MISS COSTALOT at her final outing, she has been to the trials 5 times to prepare for her return and stays under notice.
