RACE TWO

ARK PATROL (2) pressed on to find the front from gate 5 over the longer 2280m trip 2 starts back and once in control held them off to claim a 2m victory. He looked set to make it consecutive wins last start, but after circling to the breeze from gate 10 just faded late to hold 3rd. He can atone here.

ELMS CREEK (9) rolled forward to the breeze from gate 6 here last week and in a strong closing 800m was in for the fight, only fading in the closing stages. Rolling the sleeves to do the hard work at Marburg 2 starts back and only beaten a half-head, he can be right in the fight again.

GOTOTHEMOON (8) was wide off the track last start after starting from gate 9 and the run had merit under the circumstances. Charging home 2 starts ago from a long way back, he can feature.

WILLSINTOWN (1) was making good closing metres last start along the passing lane and was within 1.5m of the winner. Grabbed in the closing stages 2 starts back, look for him sniping late.

SELECTIONS: ARK PATROL (2), ELMS CREEK (9), GOTOTHEMOON (8), WILLSINTOWN (1)
SUGGESTED BET: ARK PATROL (2) to win

RACE THREE

MAJOR GENERALJUJON (1) was luckless last start and never saw open space when needed after starting from inside the 2nd line. 3 starts back over the AP 2138m trip he started a red figure fav and after setting even panels in front, couldn’t hold on. From the alley he can dictate.

TORQUE WITH ESTEEM (10) has raced back into some form and will line up here searching for a hat-trick. Away from the pegs early last start she packed too many guns in the closing stages to arrive for a smart win. That followed a tough win from the breeze and she can go close again here.

FLASHING GOOD TIME (9) went straight to the front last start from gate 2 but couldn’t hold off the swoopers when finishing 8m in arrears. Chasing home here, she can chime into the money.

ITSMEGS (3) will strip fitter following her last start when resuming from a break. Sent to the post as fav from gate 10, she fell 2m short of the winner. Back to the front line she is in the mix.

SELECTIONS: MAJOR GENERALJUJON (1), TORQUE WITH ESTEEM (10), FLASHING GOOD TIME (9), ITSMEGS (3)
SUGGESTED BET: MAJOR GENERALJUJON (1) to win

RACE FOUR

ROCKS OR DIAMONDS (2)
looks set to get his chance to open his win account following placings in all 4 career starts to date. Starting fav last time out when resuming from a let-up, he was given plenty of time to balance up from gate 5 before closing well for 3rd. Settling close from the two-hole, he looks more Diamonds than Rocks at his Redcliffe debut.

REDS GOOD TO GO (5) was snagged back from a wide gate last start and found the line nicely when 9m from the winner, the smart GOVERNOR JUJON. Breaking through for a maiden breaking win 2 starts back, his chances have been stung by a tricky gate, but with even luck he is in the fight.

DATALDO (9) will take good benefit from his latest start when resuming from a freshen where he then didn’t have the cleanest run in transit. Despite the gate he can issue a challenge here.

TIC TACT (3) started from gate 4 last start and given time to find her feet out of the gate was then working in the breeze to claim 2nd. If able to find the pegs, she will give them something to chase.

SELECTIONS: ROCKS OR DIAMONDS (2), REDS GOOD TO GO (5), DATALDO (9), TIC TACT (3)
SUGGESTED BET: ROCKS OR DIAMONDS (2) to win

RACE FIVE

LETS DIG IT (8) is in nice touch without much luck at present and if factors can fall his way, he might just be able to claim the prize. Locked away with no room from the pocket trail at Marburg 2 starts back, his latest effort was much sharper than the return suggests, running sharp closing panels.

MAYWYN NO REGRETS (10) worked home in nice order from the gate 6 over the AP mile 2 starts back and was within 6m of the winner. Taken to Marburg last start, she hustled early to lead and kept the speed on throughout to break the track record in great style. The gate hurts.

BETTOR BECAUSE (3) closed out strongly from gate 10 over the sprint trip here 2 starts back to score in good style. A beaten fav last start from gate 9, it was still a nice effort and she is right in the fight.

ALOT OF COST (4) found the 1x1 from gate 9 over the AP mile last start and chased gamely when mid-field behind LINCOLNS GIRL. Freshened since that outing, back to the triangle suits.

SELECTIONS: LETS DIG IT (8), MAYWYN NO REGRETS (10), BETTOR BECAUSE (3), ALOT OF COST (4)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE SIX

NIKALONG HENRY (10)
has been freshened since his last appearance when making an error that ended his chances. That was in a much stronger contest taken out by PINUP BOY where he was drawn wide as a result of his starting manners. If he can get it right, he can overcome the gate.

BE ON THE SLY (7) rolled forward to take on the lamp lighting duties last start and set a solid tempo before fading off in the closing stages. Buried in the run here 2 starts back, he will be hoping that the 1 can hustle to hold and if that scenario eventuates, he will ready to take the closing shot.

TASCOTT LADY (5) added another minor placing to her tally for the season when circling them early to find the breeze and fighting hard when beaten a half-neck. Placed in 5 of her past 8, she is in the mix again.

BERTILS DELIGHT (8) started from gate 1 here 2 starts back over the longer 2280m trip and after being shuffled to 3 back the pegs, found the line well to hold the bronze. She can place again here.

SELECTIONS: NIKALONG HENRY (10), BE ON THE SLY (7), TASCOTT LADY (5), BERTILS DELIGHT (8)
SUGGESTED BET: NIKALONG HENRY (10) to win

RACE SEVEN

The gate makes it a little tricky and she will be relying on some factors in her favour, however DE VOYAGE (7) will be tightened from her latest start when 2nd up from a break and sprinting home in good style. Working off the scenario that the 1 can lead, she will be coiled and ready to strike.

CHANCELESS CENTURY (9) took on a Gold Pot heat last start and from the 2nd line found them a bit too sharp at this stage of his career. He was game from the breeze 2 starts back which had followed placings at his 1st 3 outings since hitting the racetrack. With even luck he has claims in this line-up.

MAKINMEFEELGOOD (1)
had an early look from gate 3 last start before finding running line cover and holding on for the bronze. With his best gate for some time he can look to capitalise.

THE CASUAL GOOSE (5) will take good confidence from his latest start when opening his win account at career start 3. Taking them all the way to score in good time and style, he will right in the fight.

SELECTIONS:  DE VOYAGE (7), CHANCELESS CENTURY (9), MAKINMEFEELGOOD (1), THE CASUAL GOOSE (5)
SUGGESTED BET: DE VOYAGE (7) to win

RACE EIGHT

SPORTSGIRL MYSTIC (10)
was impressive on debut over the mile and fought gamely to the line to hold 2nd behind the subsequent winner TORI MAY. She made an error at the start last time out in a Gold Pot heat that cost her all chance behind LINCOLNS GIRL. At career start 3, she can arrive.

HADLEY (3) is a Rock N Roll Heaven gelding on debut for Mark Lichtwark out of My Janes Cullen, making him a half to the handy GOTTA GOOD REASON. He has trialled in good order in readiness for his 1st appearance and from the good gate can make an impression 1st up.

FEELINGFORARAINBOW (6) was a nice winner from inside the 2nd line here last start when working home strongly wide off the track. The gate makes it tricky but he won’t be far away with a repeat.

REGALIA (7) has found himself back in the pack at 2 runs since returning from a break. With a cosy trip on offer, he will be probing for openings to offer in the closing stages.

SELECTIONS: SPORTSGIRL MYSTIC (10), HADLEY (3), FEELINGFORARAINBOW (6), REGALIA (7)
SUGGESTED BET: SPORTSGIRL MYSTIC (10) to win

RACE NINE

HIGH CLOUD LASS (3)
wasn’t ideally suited last start by the mobile conditions and without the cleanest run in transit faded out in the latter stages. The start prior at Marburg she was strong from the breeze when within 3.5m of the winner and from the 10m tape looks well placed in this.

AICHBECHATEAUNOIR (6) found the line in good style at Marburg 2 starts back when 3m from the winner DAY TOURER. Last start over 2647m at AP she was locked against the markers and was sound against much stronger opponents. If she can handle the triangle at her 1st attempt, she can feature.

NORAHS FLING (9) took inside runs last start at AP over the 2138m mobile and was able to poke through right when it counted to score. She found the line nicely here 3 starts back and has claims.

SOMEDASH (8) started from the 20m tape last start in a stronger contest taken out by MELPARK MAGIC and finished nicely to grab the bronze. Still after a win here at Redcliffe, she is in the mix.

SELECTIONS: HIGH CLOUD LASS (3), AICHBECHATEAUNOIR (6), NORAHS FLING (9), SOMEDASH (8)
SUGGESTED BET: HIGH CLOUD LASS (3) to win
