Trainer - Peter Snowden

"We'll probably have a break now, this is a great way to finish his prep with some Black Type form and we'll bring him back in the Spring."

"He's a horse that's going to keep improving, he's been plagued by bad barriers and wet tracks, it was good to see him find his right race today."

"James (McDonald) gave him every possible with the ride he had no excuses so it was very pleasing to see him put them away like he did."

Jockey - James McDonald

"We got a gun run, as soon as the favourite was stuck wide I knew we were the clear second elect and we moved into it nicely."

"He'll be a better horse in the Spring, the fashion in which he did it today suggests he'll only improve."

"She's been struggling for form this prep we thought age may be catching up with her, but to come back to a familiar race looks like she's back on track."

"Her grand final is in two weeks with the Tatts Tiara, which Prompt Response and Noir will also head towards and that's a good confidence boost for her ahead of a Group One."

"She's been a great money spinner this horse, she's won two Group One's in her time and with this probably being her last campaign we'd love to land one more for connections."

Jockey - James McDonald

"I felt her work was fairly plain at trackwork, bu that's not where you win races and she brought it today."

"The gear change made her think a bit more and she fought all the way to the line she's on the way up."

"He's been a very unlucky horse, he gets back in the run and relies on the breaks and as we know they rarely come."

"He needed a track like Eagle Farm with it's beautiful big expanses to allow him to wind up and get a real shot at them."

"He's a horse I've had black type thoughts about for a long time and this looked a really good race for him today and fantastic to reward the owners for their patience."

"Hopefully this is a building block for bigger things, there is an 1800 metre race (Tatts Plate) in a fornight's time and we'll see if he can continue his upward trend."

Jockey - Barend Vorster

"I knew we'd get back, but we found the back of the right horse which gave us a nice truck up and made sure we featured in the finish."

"He can defintely cover more ground next time out, I'm looking forward to gettign back on him he just gave me my first winner at Eagle Farm."

"We were unfortunate not to get a start in the Stradbroke, but I'm on the top of the world right now."

"I said to Benny (Looker) you ride him how he feels and he summed it up perfectly getting back and saving that finishing burst."

"The long term goal is the Kosciuszko, but he's only just into his prep so I might try to find another nice race up here for him before we head home."

Jockey - Ben Looker

"We had to ride him a bit upside down the last time out the way the track was playing, I was still rapt with his run considering we were three wide and nothing was making ground."

"Coming back to the 1200 I elected to go back to riding him cold and boy he was super to the line, I wish he got into the Stradbroke he would've been right in it for sure."

"He gave me my biggest thrill in racing winning The Country Championships and now he's given me my first listed win, I can't thank Jenny and the connections enough."

"Gelding this horse has really turned his form around, there is a long medical explanation as to why it has but I guess all the punters care about is he's running better."

"He's four from four since being gelded and i don't think there will be any stopping here we'll go right through to the spring and figure in some races then."

"The Guineas has been a launching pad for a number of our horses over the years and hopefully this one can be another success story."

"The mumurs about the track not playing fair two weeks ago have been put to bed, they are getting a chance everywhere and James (McDonald) did a great job getting last crack at them."

Jockey - James McDonald

"He's a horse that's really found his race craft, I was able to just sit on quietly on him throughout the run he didn't spend a penny and that showed in the finish."

"When I asked him for an effort over that last couple of hundred he kept responding, he's in winning form and knew where the line was."

"We got a nice trail, but they didn't go that quick the first half of the race and thought about burrowing out and getting him clear at the 700, but sat tight and the horse did the rest."

"I love coming up to Brisbane it's been a good hunting ground for me I've had a number a Group wins up here, couldn't be happier to get another Group One."

"I've got to give a huge thanks to Anthony Cummings who trusted me with riding the horse for the first time today, it's nice to get the job done for him and hopefully get back on this horse."

"They're quite rowdy the boys, I'm excited at Group One seventy-four I can imagine how they're feeling after their first Group One."

"Johnny (Allen) gave him a great ride, we stuck with him and he wove his magic today."

"He got him out just at the right time and for his age gee this horse can stay, his record speaks for itself he's remarkable."

"Big thrill to get a win for Rosemont, Peter Moody and all the boys involved in this horse."

"The ultimate credit has to go to the horse, we flew him up here afer a tough South Australian Derby in the wet and he's done the job."

"It's been a busy time for the stable moving from Adelaide to Melbourne, but to get a win like this while making that transition is a real boost."

Jockey - Johnny Allen

"We got hampered at the start and I thought it might be too big a task to win from where he was, but with the good barrier we were just able to creep a little closer."

"I had to take a few risks, there were a couple of tight gaps we had to thread, but he accelerated away from them when he got there and had a little bit of a look around before knuckling down."

"He took his mind off the job and drifted out a couple of lengths late, but by that stage he was switched off and if anything came at us he would have found again."

1st - Trekking - James Cummings - Kerrin McEvoy

2nd - Tyzone - Toby Edmonds - Tommy Berry

3rd - Endless Drama - Tony Pike - Leith McInnes

Trainer - James Cummings

"It's a massive effort from Trekking he's had a huge preparation, but we just had him bang on this week and while you can't ever think you have a race like The Stradbroke in the bag he was on."

"I love handicap's and to see him cruise up and win in pretty painless fashion was brilliant couldn't be more pleased with that."

"When I ran the horse in the Kingsford-Smith Cup a fortnight ago it was more to get him a look at the track because it is so different to what he's experienced in Sydney and that paid dividends today."

"Huge thanks to the travelling stable Nacim Dilmi, Reg Fleming all the guys that ride the work hose down the horses their efforts are unbelieveable, they're at the coalface and make this happen."

"If anyone has any idea on how to program a horse look how he (Anthony Cummings) programmed Prince Fawaz, learning from Dad, learning from Bart (Cummings) it's been an amzing education for me and thrilled to win a Group One on the same day as Dad, it's pretty special for the family."

Jockey - Kerrin McEvoy

"He's such a genuine race horse and a huge thrill to do it in the Godolphin colours, all credit to James (Cummings) and the team we knew back to handicap conditions would suit him and it did."

"It was good to get him back to Eagle Farm where he worked on Tuesday that little gallop in between gave him a real familiarity with the surface."

"He travelled like a dream throughout, he always tries but today the way he picked up was exceptional."

"It's either sixteen of fifteen Group Ones in Queensland, which is an amazing ratio I can't wait to get back and add to that next year."

"I've had a few minor placings today and very nice to crack it with a bigrace like The Brisbane Cup."

"We had to take our medicine early go back and hope to pick our way through."

"He has a good turn of foot for a stayer so I knew if I could ride him cold and produce him at the right time he'd be hard to beat."

"We got some nice runs coming down to the turn and it was a real war with Grey Lion over the closing stages there, but he wanted it more."

"He had strong form lines leading into the race and I think getting to Eagle Farm the bigger track ticked all the boxes."

"He's got a bit of go about him this horse, he pulled up a bit sore near the post so he may need a little spell."

"Also a shout out to Corey Brown everyone is hoping he's ok after his earlier fall."
