RACE TWO

The first 460m of this race will be a big indicator to how the remaining 1200m pans out with the amount of speed and pressure in tight. Shooting for a hat-trick, SAM IS PERFECTION (7) has no favours from the gate, but the hot tempo will be in his favour. With the right trip he can arrive.

SCOOB OPERATOR (6) started from the 2nd line here last week when 2nd up from a break and was chasing hard when not too far in arrears of SAM IS PERFECTION. 7m from the winner when resuming in open company behind FAME ASSURED, he can be working home late off the pace.

IT AINT THE MONEY (2) is chasing three on the bounce after successive wins at the mile. Firing out early from gate 1 last start, he kept the speed on all the way and will be trying to fight them off.

AT WEST POINT (3) loves to roll in front and last start kept pressing forward until he was in control. Keeping the speed on, he had enough in the locker to hold on. He will apply plenty of early acid.

SELECTIONS: SAM IS PERFECTION (7), SCOOB OPERATOR (6), IT AINT THE MONEY (2), AT WEST POINT (3)
SUGGESTED BET: SAM IS PERFECTION (7) to win

RACE THREE

KEAYANG KREUZER (9)
scored an easy win in a heat of the NSW Western Championship before landing the G1 Final from gate 1 when releasing early before making the closing shot a winner. Grabbing the silver when 1m from SEND IT in the State Final of that Series, he heads North in form and pressing through early can arrive.

L L COOL J (8) is the class runner but given no favours from this gate where he is likely to be buried in transit and likely looking to work off early. Only bloused in the last stride last start after doing plenty of work, it was a strong effort. Yet to miss the board in 8 starts here at The Creek, he cannot be ignored.

PARAVANI (2) has been thereabouts in recent outings and although better known as a miler, ran a nice race last week over this middle-distance trip. Finding top prior to releasing, he was best of the chasers behind MISTER BRAZIL and can run a similar race here.

PEMBROOKS PASSION (3) was a winner at the mile here 3 starts back in a gritty win when sitting parked. Sound to the line last start behind UNCLE JORD, he might just get to the front here to give them the target.

SELECTIONS: KEAYANG KREUZER (9), L L COOL J (8), PARAVANI (2), PEMBROOKS PASSION (3)
SUGGESTED BET: KEAYANG KREUZER (9) to win

RACE FOUR

The expected Qld debut of SPANKEM (7) was over before it started here last week when Kylie Rasmussen was tipped out after 10 metres. So, the Miracle Mile Champion will now tackle this mobile start event. His preparatory trial was slick without being extended and despite the gate, he can flex his muscle.

UNCLE JORD (3) has a smart record here at The Creek and steps up to the open ranks following a strong victory last start over the 2138m. Eased early to secure position, he was buried in the run before charging home over the top to score. He has the gate to press forward to feature.

CARDLESFROMHEAVEN (1) was luckless last start when buried away and not finding the space required to make a play. Likely tucked away from this alley, he will be probing for space.

KID MONTANA (8) claimed the Flashing Red here last week when safely away and then scooting the sprint lane to score. Winding up to get within a half-head of NURBURGRING here on Tues, he has the 2nd line options to chime in here.

SELECTIONS: SPANKEM (7), UNCLE JORD (3), CARDLESFROMHEAVEN (1), KID MONTANA (8)
SUGGESTED BET: Trifecta 7 / 1-2-3-8

RACE FIVE

This race has attracted a cracking line-up of 3YO’s to really whet the appetite for the upcoming Constellations. WATTS UP SUNSHINE (4) was clinical here on Tuesday when 1st up from a break, working forward, taking control, and fighting them off. If he gets to the front easily, he will take some stopping.

HEMSWORTH (10) faces a steep rise here after just one start in Qld. But that one start was a real eye-catcher when charging home from back in the pack to be 2.5m from the dictating winner GENERAL MONTANA. Fitter for the run, this could be the ideal gate to work home off what looks a tempo laced with pepper.

BIG WHEELS (5) was beaten by the barrier in the Triad Final when facing the 2nd line, he was forced to circle the field to get outside MANILA PLAYBOY and was game in holding on for 2nd. The mile looks more suitable, and he gets the chance to test himself.

CAPTAIN CRUSADER (9) will race in his 3rd state in 3 starts after winning an APG heat at Menangle and heading south to contest the Melton final. Closing hard to be 5m in arrears of the winner TASTY DELIGHT, he has the speed to feature.

SELECTIONS: WATTS UP SUNSHINE (4), HEMSWORTH (10), BIG WHEELS (5), CAPTAIN CRUSADER (9)
SUGGESTED BET: WATTS UP SUNSHINE (4) to win

RACE SIX

KEAYANG MARVEN (4)
is only lightly raced but his effort here last week was worthy enough to suggest that a win can be achieved in this contest. Snagged back from a wide gate, he was attacking the line with gusto as CRUNCH TIME was putting on a power running display in front. It is a big ask, but he looks to have the answers.

DOUBLE OR NOTHING (10) features in a barn switch and will take to the track for Chantal Turpin for the 1st time. Asked to race tough last start, he faded to be midfield behind JUMPING JACK JIMMY. 3m away in a Trot Rods 2 starts back, he has good closing power and can unleash it late here.

BITCOIN (8) was a winner here 2 starts back when content to occupy the death chair and in a slick 27.6 closing panel held on to score. Chasing from the pocket trail last start to grab 2nd, a similar trip looks likely here.

GOLIGHTLY (9) eased from gate 5 last start over the mile and never really got warm when 7m from the winner IT AINT THE MONEY. With early options from this alley, he will not be too far away here.

SELECTIONS: KEAYANG MARVEN (4), DOUBLE OR NOTHING (10), BITCOIN (8), GOLIGHTLY (9)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE EIGHT

For qualifying mares this is a strong contest where SCARLET BABE (10) can look to add another win to her impressive Qld credentials. Sent forward from gate 7 to do it the tough way, she was all class in holding on for a stylish win in 53.7 for the mile. Despite the 2nd line, she can arrive once again.

JENDEN STRIKE (7) tackled a FFA here over the long 2680m mid-week when finishing 7m in arrears of NURBURGRING. Tackling a mare’s qualifier here 2 starts back, she was sent forward and working hard in the run was only a half-neck away. The gate again stings, but she will throw it down hard.

ETERNAL PROMISE (6) eased from gate 4 at Redcliffe last start to find position over the 1780m trip. Hitting the line in smart order over the closing stages to grab 3rd. Back to mares only company suits.

RAANI (4) started from the 2nd line over the 2138m here midweek and was attacking the line strongly over the closing stages when 4m in arrears of ALE ALE KAI. From the gate she can feature.

SELECTIONS: SCARLET BABE (10), JENDEN STRIKE (7), ETERNAL PROMISE (6), RAANI (4)
SUGGESTED BET: SCARLET BABE (10) to win

RACE NINE

These mares’ races have been hotly contested in recent weeks and this looks no different. Landing the first blow by virtue of the barrier, A RAINBOW DELIGHT (1) comes up with the options to be in the perfect position. A winner here 4 runs back when charging home, the map has been against her in all 3 starts since that win. This looks ideal.

WITH THE BAND (4) is absolutely flying of late and has been super in defeat at her past 2 outings. Attacking the line with gusto when the gaps opened last start to get within a head of SAUCY DREAMS, it followed defeat by an eyelash when SCARLET BABE pipped her. She can throw it down again.

BETTERTHANDIAMONDS (2) was looking to complete the six-pack of successive victories last start but faded after forced to work hard in the death chair. Taking them all the way from the four-hole 2 starts back when 2nd up, she will look to dictate.

JERADAS DELIGHT (8) will likely be buried in the run but has a booming sprint when saved for a closing shot. If she finds open road with continued momentum, she could blow them all out.

SELECTIONS: A RAINBOW DELIGHT (1), WITH THE BAND (4), BETTERTHANDIAMONDS (2), JERADAS DELIGHT (8)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-2-4-8

RACE TEN

He has started on 4 occasions since joining the Jack Butler barn and CLAUDYS PRINCE (1) has finished 2nd across the line on each occasion. Hemmed away when finding himself three back against the poles last start, he charged late to get within a pimple of the winner. From the inside line, he gets every chance again to open the Qld account.

OUR OVERANOVA (9) made an uncharacteristic error last start when galloping as the tapes released. The start prior he was working home nicely from his 50m impost when 10m in arrears of the winner MAJESTIC SIMON. He gets back to a 35m tape here which looks ideal, and he can take his shot.

RITEUR (4) was hustling early here last Sat night but jumped it off and threw her chances away. Bouncing back here on Tuesday when finishing strongly from a 30m impost, she is in the mix.

SIR FAHRENHEIT (6) resumed from a spell in a tidy effort behind MAJESTIC SIMON over this trip. Pegged away 2nd up, when he found open road, he charged home for a smart win and followed that with a win from 20m over the middle distance. He is right in the fight here.

SELECTIONS: CLAUDYS PRINCE (1), OUR OVERANOVA (9), RITEUR (4), SIR FAHRENHEIT (6)
SUGGESTED BET: CLAUDYS PRINCE (1) to win

RACE ELEVEN

There are some quality babies on display here, none more impressive to date than DANGERZONE (6) who has scored a pair of smart wins at his only 2 starts. He did his share of work in claiming the Breeders Classic when sent forward and despite the wider gate, he can keep a clean slate.

AWAYWEGO (4) was given plenty of time to balance up at release point when making his debut before pressing forward to take control. Doing it well within himself in scoring a 2m victory, it was a nice starting point. This is the next rung up the ladder, but he can look to take the step.

MISTY CREEK (5) backs up from Wednesday night at Redcliffe where he was stretched early to find the front and then set the opening panel in a slippery 28.9 that left him vulnerable late. He has ability and is in the mix.

O B LEGAL (3) retreated from the middle of the line here 2 starts back before closing out in smart order to grab 2nd behind BORSELLINO. Hitting the line nicely on Wednesday at The Triangle to overpower MISTY CREEK, he can chime in here.

SELECTIONS: DANGERZONE (6), AWAYWEGO (4), MISTY CREEK (5), O B LEGAL (3)
SUGGESTED BET: DANGERZONE (6) to win
