RACE ONE

SAMMYS A KRIDEN (4)
will take some benefit from his latest run when returning following a 6 week break between runs. From the 2nd line he was working home wide off the track and hit the line strongly when 2m from CONSSTANTLYSIDEWAYS. From an improved gate he can capitalise.

ARROKEEFE (9) has been getting trapped looking for position in the run at his past few but has still been finishing off nicely. Last start he was strung up in traffic looking for space and his closing 100m was good. With a better trail through he can be swooping late.
DRIVE THE DREAM (2) can settle handy and with a nice effort on Wed to prepare is in the mix.
DON BOSTON (10) heads north for visiting trainer Brad Abbot and arrives with wins in 2 of his past 3 in Menangle mid-week events.

SELECTIONS: SAMMYS A KRIDEN (4), ARROKEEFE (9), DRIVE THE DREAM (2), DON BOSTON (10)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE TWO

STIRLING WILLIAM (11) found running line cover off gate 5 in his heat and worked home well to grab the silver behind INA GREAT PLACE. Having to work home wide off the track from bad gates in recent starts, with the right trail into this, he is worth a ticket in a typically wide-open claimer.

MOHEGAN SUN (1) landed gate 1 in the heats and looked to take them all the way and after setting a solid tempo faded the last 150m. Taking cover on the right horse this time he will be ready to pounce when the passing lane arrives.
BIO MARINUS (3) can be stoked up to find the pegs and from the front will give plenty of cheek. INA GREAT PLACE (7) was too strong to land a 3.5m heat victory. On the strength of his heat win can challenge here.

SELECTIONS: STIRLING WILLIAM (11), MOHEGAN SUN (1), BIO MARINUS (3), INA GREAT PLACE (7)
SUGGESTED BET: STIRLING WILLIAM (11) to win

RACE THREE

OUTLAW FELLA (1) has had 10 starts since returning from a break and been in the money at 9 of those outings, with 3 of them resulting in wins. Last start as the sole back-rower he was away from the pegs and worked into the race strongly and arrived in time. This is his best gate at his past 5 and can go all the way.

CONSTANTLYSIDEWAYS (3) shoots for the hat-trick after successive wins over the mile at his past 2 starts. Last week he powered home from a 2nd line gate running a career best 1.53.1. This is his best gate for some time and he is right in the fight.
JOYS A BABE (10) has the tough gate but gets in here on a class drop after racing in the open class ranks.
BETTABE PERFECT (8) looks set to enjoy a cosy trip form this gate and is right in this.

SELECTIONS: OUTLAW FELLA (1), CONSTANTLYSIDEWAYS (3), JOYS A BABE (10), BETTABE PERFECT (8)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-3-8-10

RACE FOUR

KYMS BOY (1)
put together successive wins to bounce back to form including a passing lane victory here over the 2138m. Last start he was stuck for position and ended up a long way back on the pegs and was out of play. From the gate he can release and look to make the last shot a winning one.

KARLOO MAC (3) pressed ahead to find the front last week over the mile but couldn’t hold on when 8m from the passing lane winner FIRE AND ICE. He can get to the pegs again and will be looking to grip on over the 2138m trip.
PARISIAN ROCKSTAR (11) has the tough gate to overcome but with some tempo up front he looks best placed of the off-pace runners to swoop late.
ROCKNROLL MUSIC (2) can settle close to the speed and has podium claims.

SELECTIONS: KYMS BOY (1), KARLOO MAC (3), PARISIAN ROCKSTAR (11), ROCKNROLL MUSIC (2)
SUGGESTED BET: KYMS BOY (1) to win

RACE FIVE

YANKEE STRUTTER (2) lands his best alley for some time and with good speed out of the machine can look to fire the first shot and will have available options. His run 2 back when dragged back from gate 7 was a tidy effort behind ELENIARK and in an open contest he looks to have his chance.

CROWINING GLORY (8) will need a slice of luck from this gate but if able to see space with track to work with will be sprinting strongly. Not suited when cutting the breeze last start, his run 2 back was a nice effort when sprinting from 3 back along the pegs to grab 3rd in a similar race. Needs luck.
LORNE BEACH (10) was closing in good order when 3rd to BET IM SPECIAL last start and with the right ride home he can land in the money.
MODERN ERA (5) has only had the 1 start since arriving in QLD and didn’t have the smoothest trip. He is right in this with the right run in transit.

SELECTIONS: YANKEE STRUTTER (2), CROWINING GLORY (8), LORNE BEACH (10), MODERN ERA (5)
SUGGESTED BET: YANKEE STRUTTER (2) to win

RACE SIX

GEORGIA GRACE (1)
is a quality mare and from this gate will have the options and looks to get her chance to score career win 16. Last week from gate 4 she was working in the run and was brave to the line in going under a neck to OUTLAW FELLA. A slick winner over the mile 2 back this looks hers.

CASINO TOMMY (3) has put it together his past few starts and been top 3 in 6 of his past 7 with a pair of wins in that number. With the speed to hold the front off gate 1 last week he kept them chasing and held on for a head margin. He can look to force his way to the front here and dictate.
A GOOD CHANCE (8) broke through for a mid-wee victory last start to end his longest ever winless streak. He will need a slice of luck here.
ANYCHANCE (11) landed a qualifying win in good style here 3 starts back and if it is too keen up front he can arrive late.

SELECTIONS: GEORGIA GRACE (1), CASINO TOMMY (3), A GOOD CHANCE (8), ANYCHANCE (11)
SUGGESTED BET: GEORGIA GRACE (1) to win

RACE SEVEN

BULL MARKET (6) was set alight in a mid-race ambush to find the front over the 2138m trip 2 starts back and won nicely. Dropped back to the claiming ranks last start it was only the inside 2nd line that beat him in a Claiming series heat. He can sit back and watch the speed and swoop over the top.

MONTANA FALCON (4) was buried away from an inside 2nd line gate here 2 starts back and hit the line well to grab the bronze behind MAX RICHTER. His run last start from gate 7 behind MAKO BANNER had merit. Back to the claimers from this gate he can throw down the challenge.
MAX RICHTER (3) worked home strongly last start for a tidy 2nd and back to the front line will be in the fight.
THREO (5) looked to take them all the way last start when grabbed by MAX RICHTER up the lane. He is right in this.

SELECTIONS: BULL MARKET (6), MONTANA FALCON (4), MAX RICHTER (3), THREO (5)
SUGGESTED BET: BULL MARKET (6) to win

RACE EIGHT

OUR HI JINX (1)
had conditions to suit here 5 starts back over this trip and sprinted sharply to score a nice win. Since that win he has faced some unsuitable gates and last start was too far back against the tempo of a 55.1 closing half to challenge. With the perfect trip here he can take the last shot.

BEAVER (2) was a winner 4 starts back when bullying his way to the front over the mile and once in control held on to a 4m winning margin. Landing tough gates since that win his efforts have been quality and his run 2 back was a real eye-catcher. Working to the front he will be fighting them off.
FRANKIE ROCKS (7) will appreciate plenty of tempo off the front here, he can find position and look to swoop home over the top and is big chance.
SMOOTH SHOWGIRL (8) last week produced at the right time, sailed down the outside to score. The race can unfold in the same manner here and she can swoop again.

SELECTIONS: OUR HI JINX (1), BEAVER (2), FRANKIE ROCKS (7), SMOOTH SHOWGIRL (8)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-2-7-8

RACE NINE

SWEET AS (5)
will strip fitter for her latest outing at Newcastle when returning off a 5 week gap between runs and finding the line in good order over the 2030m trip. A half-neck winner over the mile 3 starts back, she can be the 1st winner for the latest KerryAnn Turner northern raid.

GET IN THE GROOVE (6) pressed ahead from gate 7 over the 2138m trip here 2 starts back and from the breeze dominated them to score a 1m victory. Off the same gate last week she was sent to the post in red figures and after settling back in the pack loomed up before being grabbed late. She can throw down the challenge.
INVITE ONLY (4) was run down after looking to take them all the way when sent forward from gate 5 at Armidale last time out. She can give a sight here.
ROCKNROLL AMBER (11) has the tough gate to negotiate which doesn’t really suit her style but after a tidy win on Wed night can feature.

SELECTIONS: SWEET AS (5), GET IN THE GROOVE (6), INVITE ONLY (4), ROCKNROLL AMBER (11)
SUGGESTED BET: SWEET AS (5) to win

RACE TEN

FOURSHARESMOREBEERS (7)
started off this tape last week over the 2138m trip and rolled forward to take up the running at the 1500m. Leading them into the stretch he was grabbed up the passing lane. A winner over this trip 3 starts back he can roll forward and land another win.

OUR OVERANOVA (9) took out he DJA 4 starts back and then was 3rd at his next 2 starts. Last time he stayed well back in the run when 4th. He has the 60m to overcome, but he loves the 2647m trip and given time to stride into this he will be right in the fight.
SPRINGBANK EDEN (6) off the front line here look for him issuing a strong challenge.
QUIETLY SPOKEN (2) steps up in class here but finishing 2nd to the in-form MAYBETOTHEMAX last start she has first 4 claims.

SELECTIONS: FOURSHARESMOREBEERS (7), OUR OVERANOVA (9), SPRINGBANK EDEN (6), QUIETLY SPOKEN (2)
SUGGESTED BET: FOURSHARESMOREBEERS (7) to win
