RACE TWO

DENNINGTON HEIGHTS (2) looks to get into this race nicely after meeting stronger opponents in recent outings. Beaten by gate 7 over the AP 2138m trip last start, he was not that far from the winner SOHO TSUNAMI. Grabbed late in smart time the start prior, he has the early bullets to be in command here, his record over the middle distance is just a nagging query.

GETALOADATHISGIRL (1) held the pocket trail from this gate last start over this same trip but was unable to run down the leader THERESACHANCE. Closing for the bronze behind AQUA CRUISER the start prior, she looks set for the perfect trip behind the speed and if the 2 is vulnerable late, she can strike.

PACIFIC COIN (8) was angled to the pegs last start from the 2nd line and looking for the short-cuts came up short as TOANUI SPIRIT took the prize. With the right early trail, he can join in here.

TRUNKEY DIGGER (4) might not have the greatest numbers at her past 3 starts, but her effort has been good, the latest when closing out strongly from a long way back. With even luck she has claims.

SELECTIONS: DENNINGTON HEIGHTS (2), GETALOADATHISGIRL (1), PACIFIC COIN (8), TRUNKEY DIGGER (4)
SUGGESTED BET: TRUNKEY DIGGER each-way

RACE THREE

GET READY TO ROCK (2)
was 1st up in Qld here last week from gate 6 over this trip. Hanging back off the gate she was snagged back to the rear before moving around them at the 1200m to get to the breeze. Putting the leader away, she had punters in the queue to collect but lost her way and was gunned down at the wire. With an improved alley she can gain redemption.

FEEL THE THRILL (1) showed the benefit of an improved alley last start when holding them wide from this same gate over this trip. Running even panels out in front, he was grabbed in the stretch by ARTISTIC SAINT who had the sit on him throughout. He will be looking to go one better.

SWEET LOMBO (9) has been back to the track on 3 occasions since resuming for his 3YO term, the latest when working home wide off the track for 3rd. A smart winner 2nd up, the gate makes it tricky.

LA PISTOLA (7) struck trouble here 2 starts back that ended his night and followed that with a 4m 2nd to AQUA CRUISER after settling in the pocket trail. With the economical trip he can chime in.

SELECTIONS: GET READY TO ROCK (2), FEEL THE THRILL (1), SWEET LOMBO (9), LA PISTOLA (7)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-2-7-9

RACE FOUR

With some early heat to rely on, it might just present nicely for TILDALYN (9) to make the closing shot a winner here. A winner when resuming from a spell here 4 starts back, it has not really gone her way in 3 starts since. The leader had them all off the bit last start while 2 starts back she was beaten by gate 6. This is open enough for her to bob up.

MISTER DECORUM (4) was beaten by the 2nd line at Marburg last start when wide off the track and trying to work into the contest when wide. Doing it the tough way here 2 starts back when facing the breeze, he can look to press forward again here and, in this line-up,, he can throw down the challenge.

OUR LITTLE GIRL (2) was repelled for a forward position last start and was forced to retreat to the pegs and cross the fingers for some luck. 6m in arrears of VOODOO FELLA 2 runs back, she can feature in this.

CYCLONE KELLY (6) fired off the arm from gate 4 here 2 starts back and once in control never looked in danger to claim a comfortable 13m victory. The first horse beaten last start when leading, he can look to bounce back.

SELECTIONS: TILDALYN (9), MISTER DECORUM (4), OUR LITTLE GIRL (2), CYCLONE KELLY (6)
SUGGESTED BET: TILDALYN (9) each-way

RACE FIVE

DUKE (1)
was taken back from gate 5 last start and from back in the pack was never in the action over the 2040m as HARRY CROFT powered home to the victory. The start prior he did not have the smoothest passage behind A ROCKNROLL LEGACY. With the options for a soft run in behind the speed, he can take the closing shot.

OUR ULTIMATE BONNY (7) eased from gate 4 over the AP mile 2 starts back before making a strong run in the closing stages, attacking the line strongly to get within an eyelash of the win. Not much went right for her last start when beaten as the favourite and despite needing luck here, can make a challenge.

SHESFEELINPRECIOUS (2) was burrowing through to protect the poles from gate 1 last start and after keeping them wide, tried to fight them off, only to be pipped on the post by ROCKNROLL DA GAMA. She can fire early bullets again.

HARRY CROFT (6) faces a tough gate, yet he has been landing some tricky alleys in recent outings. Finishing best to claim victory over the 2040m trip last start, he can be making a play again here.

SELECTIONS: DUKE (1), OUR ULTIMATE BONNY (7), SHESFEELINPRECIOUS (2), HARRY CROFT (6)
SUGGESTED BET: DUKE (1) to win

RACE SIX

This race looks wide-open with positions in the run vital to the hopes of a few. This might just be a shade easier from this alley for MELTON LUCKY (3) who had the inside 2nd line gate last start and did not have the smoothest run. With the chance of showing some early hustle from this alley, he might just have found the right conditions.

MAYWYNS HONEY (6) has no favours from the tough gate and will be hoping to secure some cover in the run. Wilting last start after working in the run to be a long way beaten, she was a winner from gate 4 here 2 starts back when showing early speed before taking cover and charging late. With the right trip she can challenge.

FAMOUS SHOES (7) started from the 2nd line last start in a scrimmage into the first turn, struck trouble before finding himself outside the leader. Fading out, the softer trip here will suit, and he is podium hope poking along the poles.

MANY DELIGHTS (2) had no luck last start when striking trouble that ended his chances. Buried in the run the start prior from inside the 2nd line, he can be close enough to chime into the action here.

SELECTIONS: MELTON LUCKY (3), MAYWYNS HONEY (6), FAMOUS SHOES (7), MANY DELIGHTS (2)
SUGGESTED BET: MELTON LUCKY (3) to win

RACE SEVEN

RITCHIE BEE (1)
will be tightened from his latest outing when 2nd up from a spell. Returning from gate 2, he was in the running line when beyond midfield as ROBINMEGOOD arrived. Locked down on the pegs last start as ARTISTIC SAINT took the win, he has the gate to avail the options and gets his chance.

SIGNOR JUJON (9) eased to the rear from gate 6 last start before trying to work into the contest but nothing from back in the pack really made any ground. Midfield at headquarters the start prior behind BONDI SHAKE, he will need a rub of the green here but can be making a late challenge.

TORQUE IN CONTROL (7) landed gate 1 last start in a strong race over the AP mile and with the trip in behind the speed was trying to stick on as DANCE IN THE SUN took the prize. She can chime in late from this alley.

COURAGEOUS WAYS (5) is a 6YO mare making her 1st appearance in Qld after joining the Rob Gorman barn. A beaten fav last start at Wagga, she stays under notice 1st up in this company.

SELECTIONS: RITCHIE BEE (1), SIGNOR JUJON (9), TORQUE IN CONTROL (7), COURAGEOUS WAYS (5)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE EIGHT

SHERBETS CHOICE (9)
has been in great touch since returning from a break and his record here at The Triangle is superb- hitting the board in all 8 attempts. Settling in the 1x1 trail last start, he was able to finish best to claim the prize. Only 2m shy of the winner 2 starts back, this looks easier than his last assignment and he can capitalise.

MY CHINA DOLL (3) eased to the fence as the were in single file but found them out of reach when trailing them in as the winner TALENT TO SPARE carved a 53.1 mile in front. Only 3m away the start prior, the return to this class of opposition looks much more suitable and she can challenge.

LETS BLAZE (2) was a smart winner here 1st up when showing great acceleration to put the contest out of reach when turning for home. Beaten in red figures last start, he has the gate to gain redemption.

COURAGEOUS SAM (5) was 2nd up from a spell last time out when sent around them from the 2nd line. Forced to work hard in the run, he was 7m from the winner. That followed a smart return when scoring from the front and with a tricky gate can place here.

SELECTIONS: SHERBETS CHOICE (9), MY CHINA DOLL (3), LETS BLAZE (2), COURAGEOUS SAM (5)
SUGGESTED BET: SHERBETS CHOICE (9) to win

RACE NINE

MIDNIGHT QUEEN (5)
did not have anything go her way last start from the 2nd line. Striking early trouble in a scrimmage, she lost a stack of ground and chased gamely when 3rd. Beaten a head the start prior when sent forward, she has the early hustle to lead this and can look to fight them off.

A GOOD IDEAL (3) worked hard in the breeze at Newcastle 2 starts back after being sent to race first over from gate 7. That was his first outing since joining the Richie Williams stable and had followed a luckless 4th at Leeton. Settling close to the action from this alley will aid his chances of challenging.

CALCULATED RISK (8) was having her 1st start in Qld when stepping out over the 2040m here last time out. Easing from gate 3 to secure position, she was hitting the line in nice order and has claims.

FEELING THE POWER (7) will be requiring a slice of luck from this alley as he looks in danger of being buried away. Grabbed late after setting the tempo last start, he will be probing for gaps here.

SELECTIONS: MIDNIGHT QUEEN (5), A GOOD IDEAL (3), CALCULATED RISK (8), FEELING THE POWER (7)
SUGGESTED BET: MIDNIGHT QUEEN (5) to win

RACE TEN

GO AWAY (9)
was asked to race tough last start when facing the breeze but could not see it out when 15m in arrears of the winner GETTN GOSPEL. Beaten by gate 5 the start prior, she has been to the trials twice to remove an ODM embargo and despite the tough gate, strikes a winnable maiden.

GALVARINO (7) makes his 1st appearance at The Triangle for visiting trainer Ashlea McKinnon and arrives with a sound effort when midfield last start at Newcastle. Showing good early hustle to lead them up in that, he will be requiring some luck from this alley, but if a gap opens, he can challenge.

BUSTABALLOON (3) eased from gate 5 last start to settle near the rear before making a closing play and hitting the line strongly to be within 2m of the winner. Settling closer he can feature in this.

CRIME BOSS (6) has no favours from a wide gate here as he returns from a freshen. Switching barns since his last appearance, he has trialled twice since his last outing back in January and stays under notice.

SELECTIONS: GO AWAY (9), GALVARINO (7), BUSTABALLOON (3), CRIME BOSS (6)
SUGGESTED BET:
