RACE TWO

SIGNOR JUJON (3) is close to another victory after finishing as the runner-up at his past 3 in succession. From the 2nd line last start, he was making a closing play to get within 3m of the winner and the start prior he was only a half-head away. The distance does pose a query, but he can dispel that.
LA PISTOLA (4) eased from gate 6 to find position last time out and was trying to make ground in the latter stages when 7m from the winner MAKINMEFEELGOOD. Placed his previous 3 in succession when landing in the pocket trail on all 3 occasions, he can be looking to chime in late again here.

CHANCELESS CENTURY (9) started from inside the 2nd line last start when buried in the run and grabbing the bronze when 5m shy of the winner. Meeting a stronger line-up, the start prior, he can work home late to feature in this.

VOODOO FELLA (6) started fav last tine out in an open race and was mid-field from gate 2 as VENUS JUJON landed a gritty win. Tough in the breeze here 3 runs back, the gate hurts but he is a place hope.

SELECTIONS: SIGNOR JUJON (3), LA PISTOLA (4), CHANCELESS CENTURY (9), VOODOO FELLA (6)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE THREE

HUNTAWAY (3)
was sent forward from gate 6 here last time out over the 2040m trip and was doing a stack of work to eventually find the front. Trying to cling on, he was fading late to hold on to 4th. A beaten fav the start prior from inside the 2nd line, a return to the sprint from the front line can see him home.

SPRINGFIELD SPIRIT (1) landed this gate 2 runs back when releasing the speed and from the pocket trail made a closing play to be a half-head in arrears of the winner. Buried in the run from the 2nd line last time out, he has the gate to throw down the challenge in this.

TRUNKEY DIGGER (7) was runner-up here 2 runs back when working home wide off the track to grab the silver after easing from gate 4 to secure position. With an economical trip, she can chime in.

TORQUE IS MY GIRL (2) is hitting some nice areas recently with a top-three at her past 5 in succession. A smart winner from gate 6 here 2 runs back, she is right in the mix from this alley.

SELECTIONS: HUNTAWAY (3), SPRINGFIELD SPIRIT (1), TRUNKEY DIGGER (7), TORQUE IS MY GIRL (2)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE FIVE

GLITTER STRIP (4)
pressed forward to take control over the sprint trip here last week and once in control was never in danger to claim an easy 3m victory with a further 17m back to 3rd. His Redcliffe record is strong and from the gate he can look to capitalise on the gate advantage of his main rivals.

OUR BOY ROY (6) was knocking on the door of victory after arriving in Qld, finishing runner-up in 3 successive outings. He busted the door down last start in a strong win from the breeze over the AP mile, landing victory by a head margin in a nice win. The gate hurts, but a back-to-back win is available.

MY ULTIMATE HESTON (5) returns from a spell, last seen when down the line after a tough run in the breeze behind LONESTAR LAD. A tough winner here 2 runs back, the gate dents his 1st up hopes.

ESTARDAY (3) returned from a spell to kick off her 3YO term and it was the best return possible when powering home over the top of them from gate 6 to break the maiden tag. This is a step up, but the gate helps her chances.

SELECTIONS: GLITTER STRIP (4), OUR BOY ROY (6), MY ULTIMATE HESTON (5), ESTARDAY (3)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE SIX

FORTYFIVE ROCK (2)
has been racing in great order this season when able to get forward and from this gate looks to have the pattern to suit, Buried away last start from inside the 2nd line, it followed a nice win when sent forward to find the breeze. He has the early hustle to take control of this.

BETTING BARON (1) sat back in the field from the 2nd line 2 runs back and had the right conditions to make the closing play a winning one when claiming a half-neck victory. 8m from the winner IMA BIRUBI BOY last start after not receiving the gaps when needed, the gate will aid his chances here.

SIR JUJON (7) was beaten by the wide gate last start when retreating early to find position and then trying to join in late. Working home strongly 3 starts back, he will be searching for openings.

NON PASSARE (9) can mix his runs but if producing a good one, this would be within reach. Easing from gate 6 last start, he was strong to the line to be within 2m of the winner. He has claims here.

SELECTIONS: FORTYFIVE ROCK (2), BETTING BARON (1), SIR JUJON (7), NON PASSARE (9)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-2-7-9

RACE SEVEN

MANOFLISA (8)
has the form on the board, landing a quinella position at his past 4 in succession, the past 2 of those being victories. Sent forward from gate 5 last start, he was too strong for them in scoring a comfortable 6m victory. The 2nd line does not look an impediment to completing the threepeat.

PATCHWORK JET (9) started from this same alley 2 runs back over the 1780m trip when finding running line position before charging home in the closing stages to arrive for the prize. Locked away from inside the 2nd line here last time, he can look to be working home in the closing stages.

LEAPING LEO (1) tackled the AP mile last start and chased gamely to grab 2nd behind MANOFLISA. He found them too sharp the start prior and from this grade should enjoy the right trip to podium.

TURN TURN FLYER (7) eased off the gate from the five-hole 2 runs back and was then just too far back to make a play. Last start he attacked the line strongly for the silver and can be chiming in again.

SELECTIONS: MANOFLISA (8), PATCHWORK JET (9), LEAPING LEO (1), TURN TURN FLYER (7)
SUGGESTED BET: MANOFLISA (8) to win

RACE EIGHT

PARATROUPER (2)
had 2 unplaced runs as a 2YO where he bumped into some handy performers in each contest. Eased from gate 6 at his 2nd run before finding the line in nice order to be 8m from the winner UNCLE SHANK. With a smart trial here at Redcliffe to prepare, he can return a winner.

CHILI ROCKS (4) has placed in 2 of her 3 runs since returning this term, the latest when angled to the pegs from the 2nd line and making good ground in the latter stages to grab 3rd. Starting in red figures 2 runs back from gate 1, she was soon buried after being slowly out of the machine. She has the fitness edge to challenge.

BONDI PRINCE (7) found the pocket trail from gate 3 last time out and was best of the chasers behind the comfortable winner CHARLIE CHUCKLES. Doing his share of work the start prior, he will be searching for the gaps to offer here.

STEEVEN (6) eased to the running line from gate 5 here last week and was making a closing challenge to be just a half-head from the winner. The gate stings again but he can be thereabouts.

SELECTIONS: PARATROUPER (2), CHILI ROCKS (4), BONDI PRINCE (7), STEEVEN (6)
SUGGESTED BET: PARATROUPER (2) to win

RACE NINE

A few are searching for form here in the last of the night where the inside front line all look to be facing a challenge. IMA REGAL JET (8) started from inside the 2nd line last time out and was down the line as GUTS landed the prize. It has been a while since he last saluted, but conditions look suitable.

GRINYDONTCHA (7) has placed in 3 of her past 4 starts, the latest when trying to take them all the way over the AP mile. Finding the front from gate 2, she was grabbed in the closing stages to be 2.5m off the winner. Needing a slice of luck from this alley, she will be probing for a way clear.

REDDY FIRE (6) has another wide gate to contend with after facing a string of wide barriers in recent outings. He found the line in good order 2 starts back when 7m away and ha podium claims in this.

ITS YOU NOT ME (1) has the gate to get the cosy trip in behind the speed and then look to make a play for a minor. Only 1m in arrears of the winner FEELING THE POWER 3 back, the gate is a plus.

SELECTIONS: IMA REGAL JET (8), GRINYDONTCHA (7), REDDY FIRE (6), ITS YOU NOT ME (1)
SUGGESTED BET:
