Glendale trainer Mark Bube hasn’t had CHANDON HAWKE in his kennel long but likes what he sees ahead of tonight’s Rockhampton Greyhound Racing Club meeting.
CHANDON HAWKE will jump from box 1 in the Wayne Clifford 4th Grade (407m) at 9.12pm.
“I got her down from Peter Payne at Sarina and she’s been jumping out of her skin,” Mark said.
“She had her first start for us last week and won, so that was nice.”
CHANDON HAWKE won from box 8 last week but should be even better from the one.
“Peter tells me she’s better from the inside so this is a good draw for her,” Mark said.
Mark also has HAPPY PANTERA (box 3) in the race but said he needed a clear passage in the race.
“He doesn’t like getting bumped around,” he said.
