A wide draw hasn't stopped one TAB punter from unloading three bets totalling $200,000 on Nature Strip to win Saturday's Group 1 TAB Doomben 10,000.

Nature Strip and Osborne Bulls shared favouritism ($3) prior to acceptances at 9am on Tuesday, when the Chris Waller-trained speedster drew barrier 11 of 13.

TAB Senior Media Communications Advisor Gerard Daffy said the punter placed bets of $100,000 at $2.20, $50,000 at $2, and $50,000 at $1.90 on Nature Strip to claim his second Group 1.

TAB DOOMBEN 10,000 FIELD AND FORM GUIDE

Nature Strip is now listed as a $1.85 chance for the $800,000 sprint, which is the first of eight Group 1 races during the TAB Queensland Winter Racing Carnival.

Nature Strip broke through for his maiden Group 1 victory in April's The Galaxy (1100m) at Rosehill Gardens and will have to show all of his customary dash and more to get the job done over 1200m at Doomben.

Osborne Bulls ($3.20 - $3.60) drew more favourably in barrier 4 and will try to secure his first Group 1 win on Saturday after four consecutive seconds at the highest level.

Kerrin McEvoy takes the ride on Osborne Bulls looking for his third win in the 10,000 after previous successes on Music Magnate (2016) and Epaulette (2013).

The in-form James McDonald takes the ride on Nature Strip.

Nature Strip has been backed almost exclusively, with only minor support for the Kris Lees-trained Tactical Advantage ($26-$18) and White Moss ($23-$18).
