RACE TWO

THE CROUPIER (5) is ready to strike after finishing as the runner-up in 2 starts since arriving in Qld. Pressing ahead from gate 7 last start, he was working hard in the run when 4m from the dictating LOMBO HEAVEN. Gunned down in the closing strides 2 starts back, he looks to hold a winning hand.

CAUTIVAR (2) held the 1x1 trail from a 2nd line gate and with the right trip was able to finish best to claim the prize here on Tuesday. Only 4m away here 2 runs back in a blanket finish, there is a query at the middle-distance but settling handy without over-working early, he gets a chance to cash-in.

B MAC C (10) was pegged away from inside the 2nd line last start and was making some late metres up the passing lane. Relying on what look a hot tempo, he can be making a closing play here.

SAINT KILDA BEACH (1) was warming up to a victory after a string of tidy performances from bad gates and capitalised 2 runs back at Redcliffe. Game after being wide nearly the entire trip last start, she will appreciate the improved alley.

SELECTIONS: THE CROUPIER (5), CAUTIVAR (2), B MAC C (10), SAINT KILDA BEACH (1)
SUGGESTED BET: THE CROUPIER (5) to win

RACE THREE

Charging his way through the grades since arriving in Qld, L L COOL J (12) features in a stable switch and will take his place here for Vicki Rasmussen. A strong winner in both races since resuming from a spell, he was game in defeat after doing plenty of work last start, holding on for the silver. Despite the tough gate, he can flex his muscle.

SMOKIN BY (9) returns from a long spell and must tackle some rock hard and race fit opponents first up. Last seen when down the line at Menangle 12 months ago, he has been at the trials twice to prepare for the return, the 2nd of those a slick hit out where he defeated the Tues winner KENSINGTON BILL. He can strike fresh.

SAM IS PERFECTION (1) stepped up to similar grade here last time out where he was locked away on the poles before finishing well for the bronze. With an economical trip he can chime in again.

NIMAH FRANCO (11) shoots for a hat-trick of victories after wins at the middle-distance and sprint trip at her past 2 starts. Charging home to arrive last start, she can be chiming in here.

SELECTIONS: L L COOL J (12), SMOKIN BY (9), SAM IS PERFECTION (1), NIMAH FRANCO (11)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE FOUR

SCARLET BABE (7)
slid forward from gate 7 last week to find the running line and was trying to launch a closing raid on BETTERTHANDIAMONDS when holding on for the silver, beaten 3m. Doing it from the front end over the 2138m 2 starts back, she claimed victory at the mile here 3 back from this same gate. The gate is a stumbling block that she can hurdle.

JERADAS DELIGHT (10) eased from gate 6 last start to secure position and soon found herself too far back trying to chase against the tempo. Making good metres in the latter stages the start prior when runner-up to WITH THE BAND, she has a brilliant late sprint and if close enough can make a swooping challenge.

ALE ALE KAI (1) was sound to the wire last time after settling in the running line and closing in some handy panels. Only a head in arrears of KATAMACH the start prior, she has the gate to feature here.

WITH THE BAND (6) has 2 wins in 4 attempts since returning from a spell and last start was wide off the track when trying to make a closing play behind BETTERTHANDIAMONDS. She can chime in late.

SELECTIONS: SCARLET BABE (7), JERADAS DELIGHT (10), ALE ALE KAI (1), WITH THE BAND (6)
SUGGESTED BET: SCARLET BABE (7) to win

RACE FIVE

JASPER (1) was wide off the track last start trying to make a closing rally to gun down TALENT TO SPARE in the Triad Final but had to settle for a 5m deficit in taking the silver. A winner at her previous 2 starts, the gate is a big advantage and while she will need to hustle early, she has the class to capitalise.

HES SWEET (8) pressed forward from a wide gate to work to the front here 3 starts back and once in control was able to fight them off to score. Worried out of it by JASPER over the Redcliffe sprint trip at his next start, he returns to the car of John Boserio and with the soft trip here can look for the snipers shot.

LOVE YOUR WORK (6) has been in nice touch with a top-3 at his past 4 in succession. Taking opportunity under the circumstances to score a gritty win last start, he can be chiming in here.

CHAMONIX (7) is the big loser from the barrier draw and faces a tough task from the car park. Eased to the running line last start from gate 5, he grabbed a late closing 3rd behind MANILA PLAYBOY 2 starts back in the Triad Final. He has podium claims.

SELECTIONS: JASPER (1), HES SWEET (8), LOVE YOUR WORK (6), CHAMONIX (7)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE SIX

Backing up from a Wednesday night appearance in the final Trot Rods heat, DOUBLE OR NOTHING (3) can look to add a qualifying victory to his card. Knocking on the door for a win, he was charging home from gate 10 here 3 starts back and followed that with a 3m margin to NIMAH FRANCO. This looks well within his grasp.

FEAR CRUISIN (2) was snagged off the gate last start to go luck hunting up the pegs and was running up behind them as BOMBADIER JUJON took the prize. Hitting the line with gusto the start prior at Menangle over the 2300m when within 2m of the winner, he can settle closer here to make a challenge.

JUMPING JACK JIMMY (5) was game in defeat here last start when sent around them in the early stages from the 2nd line to cut the breeze. Only 4m from the winner, he can press forward to feature.

GELDOF (4) arrives to join the Steve Cini barn and brings a handy career record that shows 12 victories with 10 of those over the sprint. Fresh since his last outing in April, he stays under notice.

SELECTIONS: DOUBLE OR NOTHING (3), FEAR CRUISIN (2), JUMPING JACK JIMMY (5), GELDOF (4)
SUGGESTED BET: DOUBLE OR NOTHING (3) to win

RACE SEVEN

VIENNA BOY (8)
released the speed over the 2138m here 2 starts back and with the right trip had bullets to fire up the passing lane, hitting the winning target to claim victory. Beaten by gate 11 last start, he looks set for the perfect trip and can be ready to uncoil in the stretch.

KING TRITON (4) has faced a 2nd line gate at his past 3 outings, the latest when trying to work into the contest over the closing stages, only 4m from the winner BOMBADIER JUJON. Sent to the front from gate 9 here 2 starts back, he can be close enough to throw down a challenge here.

IT AINT THE MONEY (1) did not have much luck here 2 starts back and could have been closer with a clearer run to the wire. Spearing out to take control last start, he was never in danger in scoring an easy 6m victory. From the gate he gets every chance.

GOLIGHTLY (5) tried to dictate from gate 2 last start and running at a solid clip over the 2138m could not see it out. Gunned down the start prior, he will be thereabouts from the sticky gate here.

SELECTIONS: VIENNA BOY (8), KING TRITON (4), IT AINT THE MONEY (1), GOLIGHTLY (5)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-4-5-8

RACE EIGHT

TWO TIMES BETTOR (3)
has faced the starter twice since arriving in Qld and been monstrous in defeat on both occasions. Losing a ton of ground after an error 1st up when grabbing the silver, she was never closer than 3-wide last week and had the audacity to be 2.5m from the winner. With any sort of luck, she wins.

LEFT A TERRROR (1) started from the 2nd line last start and was wide off the track when making a closing play to be 5m from the winner. Midfield the start prior when grinding out a tough first over effort, he lands the options from this gate to issue a serious threat.

PETES SAID SO (2) has been runner-up in both appearances here at The Creek this visit and been beaten a half-head on both occasions. Charging home here last week in a blanket go, he weaved a passage here 2 starts back and is right in the fight once again.

APHORISM (8) looks set to enjoy the beautiful trip in behind the speed here. Within 3m of ROCKNROLL ICON last start, he can be probing for the openings in the stretch.

SELECTIONS: TWO TIMES BETTOR (3), LEFT A TERRROR (1), PETES SAID SO (2), APHORISM (8)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 3 / 1-2-8

RACE NINE

After 5 starts since arriving in Qld, they lit the fuse with LILYMADIMAC (6) last week when the gate released the field. Finding the front with ease, she was rolling along and nearly pinched it with only LOOKING FABULOUS able to get the better of her. Similar tactics here can see her go might close.

JENDEN STRIKE (7) was at the rear of the pack from the 2nd line here last week when making an error that ended her chances. Not seen in over 6 weeks since her win in the consolation of the Riverina Championships, she trialled here on Tuesday in a sharp hit out. Despite the gate she can atone.

FAIRIESDELIGHT (2) tackled the 2138m trip here on Tuesday when allowed to ease in behind the speed. Following the leader and winner, she held on for the bronze. Back to the mile and mares grade suits.

FEELS LIKA WINNER (9) did some early work to secure position over the Redcliffe sprint trip 2 starts back when grabbing 2nd behind HENRY HU. Last start the leader and winner ARTFUL MAID dictated the tempo and with the right trail here she can chime in.

SELECTIONS: LILYMADIMAC (6), JENDEN STRIKE (7), FAIRIESDELIGHT (2), FEELS LIKA WINNER (9)
SUGGESTED BET: LILYMADIMAC (6) to win

RACE TEN

CLAUDYS PRINCE (1)
has been runner-up in both starts since arriving in Qld behind MAJESTIC SIMON on both occasions where luck has not been in his side. 1st up over the mobile mile he was shuffled away and then last week was again shuffled under these conditions. Charging home when the gap arrived to get within an eyelash of victory, he can go one better this time.

GODOFTHUNDER (2) was safely into stride last start to take control before releasing MAJESTIC SIMON. Trying to make a closing challenge, he finished with the bronze when 1.5m in arrears. Beaten a head here 3 starts back, he can be at the pointy end again to throw down a challenge.

IL PIRATA (6) was locked away against the pegs last start from the 10m tape and was making some handy late metres to be midfield and under 10m from the winner. Working towards a win, he can feature in this.

WEE MAN TROUBLE (11) worked around them in the early stages here last week when resuming from a spell and after working hard in the run faded over the latter stages. Fitter for the run, he has podium claims.

SELECTIONS: CLAUDYS PRINCE (1), GODOFTHUNDER (2), IL PIRATA (6), WEE MAN TROUBLE (11)
SUGGESTED BET: CLAUDYS PRINCE (1) to win
