RACE TWO

THE HARLEM HAMMER (2) held the front early last start from gate 1 before releasing over the 2040m trip and then was sound to the line when finishing mid-field as a beaten favourite. That followed a tidy run behind JOSSIE JAMES and the return to the 1780m trip is in her favour.

SAMMARI (7) was buried in the run last start when snagged back from gate 3 to find position and chased gamely behind TOMEARA. She finished best to score a nice win here 3 starts back and from inside the 2^nd line just needs an even share of luck in transit to issue a challenge.

HERITAGE BEACH (5) will take further benefit from his latest outing when 2nd up from a break and sent forward from this same gate. Working in the run he fought hard to the line when 6m from MACH SAM and can be thereabouts here.

MO JARNEY (1) went to the front from gate 3 here last start and was fighting hard to the line when holding on for a 4m 3^rd to NEWMERELLA SHARKIE. From gate 1 he has the options to feature.

RACE THREE

MATT BELFORD (6) has the tough gate but is racing well. Last start from gate 10 he circled early to find the breeze and was fighting gamely in a slogging go to the wire. His previous run was in stronger company and if he can limit the workload, he will be right in the fight.

MIRACLESDOAPPEN (4) has been in the money at her past 2 starts and from this gate can look to utilise her early speed. Her run 2 starts back was a nice effort when keen in the run and only grabbed late by FARRAHFOWLER. Her latest effort was full of merit and she can go close again.

VINNIE THE POET (5) was a winner here 3 starts back when finding the pocket trail and finishing best up the passing lane. Grabbing the bronze last start behind ARBIT MAJOR he has claims.

TELL THE FUTURE (8) has been good in 2 runs since joining the Ross Fletcher yard including a 1^st up win when leading throughout off gate 1. She worked home well from gate 9 last start and has further place claims.

RACE FOUR

ADRIFT (7) will need some factors to go his way but as the lone 2^nd line runner can work away from the pegs early if needed. Best of the chasing pack behind the smart all the way winner TOMEARA 2 starts back , he closed out well behind COLT THIRTY ONE last start. This looks well within reach.

CORPORAL LUNA (2) has been freshened since his last outing when buried on the pegs in a conditioned event behind NONE BETTOR.  This looks to be a shade easier than what he has been meeting and front he gate should settle handy and be ready to issue a closing challenge.

IMA SEA STORM (3) was able to find the leaders back here 4 runs back and then chased for the silver behind FOURS ENUF TAS. Not suited from wide gates in 3 runs since, he can be sharper here.

KURAHAUPO GAMBLER (1) looked to take them all the way here 2 starts back when grabbed late and beaten a half-neck. Working in the run last start he has since been for a break but has trialled on 3 occasions. Place hopes from this gate.

RACE FIVE

SAMMYSLUCK (2) found the pocket trail here 2 starts back and when angled to the passing lane was sprinting hard to get within a head of victory. His latest start from the 2^nd line at Marburg was a tidy effort behind REAL KNUCKY and from this gate he can look to make his own luck.

DOLLARBILL (5) found the line strongly here 2 starts back after being locked away on the pegs and was hitting the line hard to get within 2m of the winner SKYFELLA CAM. Franking that with a solid Marburg victory off the 2^nd line on Sunday, he can be thereabouts in this despite a tricky gate.

RED LUCK (8) started from gate 1 last start when releasing to take the trail and finishing 6m from the winner BONNIE JUJON. Back to the 1780m and with an early trail through look to be in his favour.

CONCENTRATION (3) did plenty of work in the run over the 2280m trip here 2 starts back when wide the last lap and fighting hard to the line. He struck trouble last start and can challenge in this.

RACE SIX

FORTES IN FIDES (5) was able to find the space to drop in for a trail on the pegs last start when best of the chasers behind GOALKICKER which followed a nice 3^rd to MAJOR SEASCAPE. Knocking on the door, despite coming up with a wide gate he looks to have a slight advantage over his rivals here.

DONT BE JEALOUS (2) was buried in the run last time she raced here on the triangle and never worked into it. Her next 3 have all been on the Northern NSW circuit with the latest run a tidy 3^rd at Tamworth. From the gate she will in the thick of it and can challenge.

GOTOTHEMOON (7) started from inside the 2^nd line last start and was away from the pegs early when mid-field behind GOALKICKER. He can get away from the pegs early if needed and has claims.

KWASII (3) has started twice and finished 4^th on both occasions. Further experienced from his latest outing, he has been dour at both runs and the rise to the 2040m trip looks to suit.

RACE SEVEN

WEASEL (5) is racing well and placed at his past 2 starts, the latest in a tough run when facing the breeze after being sent forward from a 2^nd line gate. This is not too different from that line-up and from this gate he can get forward into the contest and throw down the challenge.

WEE JIMMY (9) has the 2^nd line to negotiate but is working towards a win in this type of grade soon. He found the line nicely along the passing lane 3 starts back when only 4m from the winner and followed that with a tough run at Marburg. Look for him chiming in late.

TRAIN WRECK (4) will strip fitter from his latest outing when 2^nd up from a break. Drawn wide he was off the track in the closing stages. With even luck in transit he has place hopes here.

MAJOR STRIKE (7) is working towards a win in the right type of race. His latest start at Marburg was a nice effort to finish a 5m 3^rd to DOLLARBILL after being snagged back early. Needs a slice of luck.

RACE EIGHT

MOONLIGHT JACK (7) will need a slice of luck in the run but does have the early option as the lone 2^nd line runner. Showing some early speed last start he had a look for the front before finding running line cover. This looks easier than his past 2 starts and he looks to get his chance.

TORQUE TO THE MAX (4) started from the 2^nd line last start and tracked home well to arrive for a 3m victory in a dour finish. That opened her win account at her 3^rd appearance since joining Jonah Hutchinson. From the gate she can look to settle handy and with further improvement can feature.

MAJORESS JUJON (6) worked across from gate 5 over the 2040m trip last start to find the pegs and after setting a steady tempo was only collared on the line. Despite the wide gate she is in the mix.

JAKES ARK (5) is approaching 18 months since his only career win but was a tidy 3^rd from this same gate 2 starts back when working home in good order. He has podium claims again.
