RQ extends deepest condolences to Nolan family

Racing Queensland wishes to extend its deepest condolences to the family of Basil Nolan Jr who passed away on Tuesday night.

Mr Nolan, 45, was manager of the family-owned and highly successful Raheen Stud at Gladfield near Warwick, where he lived with wife Natalie and his four children.

Mr Nolan was an active member of the Warwick community as a junior rugby league coach and committee member, and coordinated St Mary’s School race days at Allman Park. 

Racing Queensland CEO Brendan Parnell said: “The breeding and racing industries have been deeply saddened by the tragic news of Basil’s passing. He is being remembered as a loving husband, father and son.”

“On behalf of all at Racing Queensland I would like to extend our deepest condolences to the entire Nolan family at this time.”
