Magic Millions National Racehorse sale purchase Bryneich has paid almost immediate dividends for Eagle Farm trainer Chris Anderson and his new group of owners.

The gelding handed Anderson a maiden Saturday city win for the season in the Class 3 at Doomben, following a masterful ride by jockey Ryan Wiggins from Barrier 21.

It was Bryneich's first win for the Anderson stable at start four and it more than justified his $47,500 price tag.

"They (owners) have a free hit now so we can have a lot of fun moving forward," Anderson said.

Anderson said he held concerns for the horse especially after drawing so wide on the track.

"His first time at a mile was doubtful as well," he said.

"He used a lot of fuel to get (to the front). Hopefully there's better thing to come. We won't get carried away he's down in grade - he was in some good races in Sydney but we'll have some fun with the horse."
