RACE TWO

WHATABOYZ (7) was locked on the pegs from his 20m tape here last week over the 2647m trip and when making his charge was finding the line in good style. Slightly hampered the start prior when looking to make a charge, moving forward to the 10m can see him end a long winless streak.

PRINCESS KATERINA (4) angled to the pegs last start and buried back in the run sat there for the majority of the trip prior to being angled wide. The widest of the runners in the stretch, she was sound to the line and back to the front tape over the shorter 2138m here can feature.

LAVROS SEGIL (5) made a mess of the start last week and lost valuable ground. Under the circumstances the run was full of merit to get as close as he did and he stays under notice.

ALS LAW (9) has been meeting the stronger trotters in recent starts and last time out under mobile conditions held 3rd behind the in-form GEE UP NEDDY. With the right cart into this, he can podium.

SELECTIONS: WHATABOYZ (7), PRINCESS KATERINA (4), LAVROS SEGIL (5), ALS LAW (9)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE THREE

BILLY LINCOLN (2) has been clinical in winning both starts in Qld since arriving from NZ, pressing to the front and proving too strong over both the middle-distance and the mile. Avoiding a pocket from inside the 2nd line last time to get around them early, he looks to have them covered here.

JILLIBY JACKPOT (5) took on a Gold Pot heat here 2 starts back from inside the 2nd line and was soon into the running line but well back when chasing home SIR TIGER. Forget his run last time where there were excuses, if he can limit the early burn he can look to run home into the silver.

SAINT KILDA BEACH (6) has placed in both runs since returning from a spell, the latest when grabbed in the closing strides after looking to lead throughout over the 2138m trip. She can place again.

NIGHT NINJA (8) shoots for a hat-trick of victories after sweeping a recent Marburg to Albion series. Taking them all the way in the final in a new PB, he will need a slice of luck from this alley.

SELECTIONS: BILLY LINCOLN (2), JILLIBY JACKPOT (5), SAINT KILDA BEACH (6), NIGHT NINJA (8)
SUGGESTED BET: Flexi trifecta 2 / 5-6-8

RACE FOUR

IMAHE MAN (4)
franked the market support with a 1st up win in good style here last week. Given plenty of time to balance up in the run, he flooded home in the stretch to a smart win over the long trip. This is harder, yet with added fitness Brendan Barnes can be Prince Adam from Eternia, and yell I have the Power to prevail.

DAVEYS GIFT (1) took on a tougher mobile assignment last start and after settling back in the pack from the middle of the front-line, was never really in the mix. That was his 1st run back in Qld following a 3 start Vic campaign and with the benefit of the front line, will give some cheek.

KYVALLEY TINMAN (3) made an error in the run last start that saw him banished to the trials. Earning the ticket to return, if he can recapture his performance from 3 starts back when leading throughout over this trip, he is in the mix.

SPIRIT WALKER (6) returns from a break after her form tapered and a spell was in order. With a smart trial to prepare, her record over the longer trip is superb and she stays under notice 1st up.

SELECTIONS: IMAHE MAN (4), DAVEYS GIFT (1), KYVALLEY TINMAN (3), SPIRIT WALKER (6)
SUGGESTED BET: IMAHE MAN (4) to win

RACE FIVE

This shapes as possibly the toughest race on the card to line up and despite the tough gate THE RAGNBONE MAN (7) might just be able to sneak away with this. He arrived to break his maiden 4 starts back and hasn’t been far away in 3 since, including a 3rd in a Gold Pot heat to SIR TIGER.

GOOD BOY OLIVER (2) has slick early moves and can make a solid play for the lamp lighting duties in this. Settled back in the pack last start from gate 10, he worked home in good order to grab 2nd behind BEEF CITY STARZZZ. After 24 previous attempts for his 1st AP victory, he can go close here.

SUPREME BANNER (1) was caught wide over the middle-distance last start and after 500m was sent forward to take control. Running out of steam in the stretch, he can get a soft trip and probe the gaps in this.

SOMEHOWSOMEWAY (8) should enjoy the peg-line run here and be looking to find some space for a closing shot. An all the way winner 2 starts back, he hit the line strongly last time and can chime in.

SELECTIONS: THE RAGNBONE MAN (7), GOOD BOY OLIVER (2), SUPREME BANNER (1), SOMEHOWSOMEWAY (8)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE SIX

OUTLAW FELLA (6) was forced to roll the sleeves last start in a strong Band 5 over this trip and despite the tough run he was in for the fight, only fading late behind SQUIRE. From the 2nd line at both starts prior to that run, he should appreciate the small field and back to Tues grade can score.

MAFUTA VAUTIN (3) was 5m from the winner last start when chasing home to fill a F4 position behind ELMS CREEK. Doing plenty of work in the run the start prior, his efforts of late have been good without really securing the reward. Limiting the workload, he can make a challenge.

PARISIAN ROCKSTAR (1) can look to take full advantage of the peg-line benefits here and with good early speed is right in the mix. Grabbed in the latter stages here 2 starts back, he was only 7m away last time.

GASMONKEY (2) eased back from gate 6 last start over the mile before working home soundly to finish mid-field behind NEWMERELLA SHARKIE. Settling handy he won’t be too far away.

SELECTIONS: OUTLAW FELLA (6), MAFUTA VAUTIN (3), PARISIAN ROCKSTAR (1), GASMONKEY (2)
SUGGESTED BET: OUTLAW FELLA (6) to win

RACE SEVEN

DREAM TO SHARE (6) grabbed the silver on Sat night when chasing home from back in the pack. Settling in the 1x2 as the pace was frenetic up front, his best work was in the closing 150m when he finally saw clean air. A stylish winner the start prior, a small field and a solid tempo look an advantage.

INVINCIBLE LOXTON (2) led them up over this trip 3 starts back and running even sections was collared in the closing stages by DREAM TO SHARE. An all the way winner over the mile at his next outing, things didn’t go to plan when looking for position last start. From the gate he can challenge.

COLONEL JOY (1) pressed on to find the front from a 2nd line gate here 2 starts back and once in front fought them off. 3rd to the in-form SECRETAGENT TYCOON last start, with the early options he is in the mix.

RORY MACH (4) scored in claiming company last start when working home from the 1x1 to arrive for the prize. He can look for the pegs and a cheap run to make a closing challenge to the exotics.

SELECTIONS: DREAM TO SHARE (6), INVINCIBLE LOXTON (2), COLONEL JOY (1), RORY MACH (4)
SUGGESTED BET: DREAM TO SHARE (6) to win

RACE EIGHT

CHERRYS THE BEST (2) swept a Gold Pot series to make a perfect start to her 4YO term, winning her heat in nice style before sprinting over the top of them and set a new career benchmark to claim the final. With further fitness and the good alley, she can look for the threepeat.

LIVE ATOM (1) held them out to take up the lamp lighting duties here last start and it took the smart SPEECH IS SILVER to run him down. Holding on for 2nd, it was a sharp effort from the front and with a smart all the way win here 5 starts back when 1st up, he will be looking to fight them off.

IM NO OUTLAW (6) made the most of the peg-line benefits last start from inside the 2nd line and packed too many guns late to claim the prize. With 2 wins in 3 starts for the term, he can go close again.

OUR DELIGHT (4) will take added benefit from her latest start when 2nd up from a break. Finding the pegs prior to releasing, she was 5m from SECRETAGENT TYCOON and can find position here to be thereabouts.

SELECTIONS: CHERRYS THE BEST (2), LIVE ATOM (1), IM NO OUTLAW (6), OUR DELIGHT (4)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-2-4-6
