RACE TWO

SPIRIT WALKER (6) will take further benefit from her latest appearance when 2nd up from a spell. Returning in superb style with a 1st up victory over eh 2647m trip at AP when packing too many guns, she worked home well 2nd up. Back out to the longer trip and with a great record on the track, she looks hard to stop.

IM THE COMMANDO (5) bounced back to winning form last start when working home strongly off the 30m tape over the long trip. His run from the breeze when 8m from IMAHE MAN 3 starts back was a solid effort and despite this a step up in class from recent starts, he can be thereabouts.

MAYBETOTHEMAX (7) has placed in 4 of 6 starts here at Redcliffe, but is yet to taste victory. Last start he was closing out nicely for 3rd after starting off the back-mark and he has place hopes again.

JETER (1) was locked away on the poles last start and never really saw space to issue a challenge. From position 1, he can step cleanly and closer to the action can strike in the stretch.

SELECTIONS: SPIRIT WALKER (6), IM THE COMMANDO (5), MAYBETOTHEMAX (7), JETER (1)
SUGGESTED BET: SPIRIT WALKER (6) to win

RACE THREE

WHATA REACTOR (9) will take plenty of confidence from his latest start when 2nd up since arriving with Warren Hinze from NSW, he was able to end a long winless streak to score. Starting off the 2nd line he kept coming and arrived on the line to score. The gate is tricky, but this is no harder.

SEA HAWKE (6) looked to have found his race last start despite a 2nd line gate over the AP mile. GOOD BOY OLIVER was dictating in front and looking to make a run, the best he could manage was 8m in arrears. The wide gate is a stinger, but not sure he will be finding many easier opportunities.

LEAPING LEO (2) has been runner-up in 3 of his past 5 outings as he looks for an elusive Qld victory. Looming up last start only to be denied by WHATA REACTOR, he can make the most of the gate.

BEEF CITY STARZZZ (5) started from gate 6 over the mile 3 starts back and settling in the running line was able to work home over the top to score. Not far away last start, he has podium claims here.

SELECTIONS: WHATA REACTOR (9), SEA HAWKE (6), LEAPING LEO (2), BEEF CITY STARZZZ (5)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE FOUR

BILLBOARD BONNIE (1)
was banished to the trials 2 start back after striking trouble in the run that ended her race. Earning the return ticket with a sharp hit-out, she was on for the fight last start when rolling the sleeves in the breeze to be 2m off the winner. With the available options, she will give a sight here.

MISS MONEYBAGS (9) started from gate 7 last start when making a return to the track for her 4YO term. Sent to the post a red figure fav, she was plain in finishing 20m from the winner MY WINGMAN. Fitter for the run, she will be having her 1st outing at Redcliffe and can be a big improver.

MISTER REBBILY (4) makes his return to the track to start his 3YO term and will be after a hat-trick after successive wins to wind up his freshman season. Without a public trial to prepare, he should improve off whatever he can achieve here.

NIGHT NINJA (10) was after a threepeat of victories last start when hitting the line strongly to be within 3m of the winner SAINT KILDA BEACH. The gate hurts but with the right cart home can chime into the money.

SELECTIONS: BILLBOARD BONNIE (1), MISS MONEYBAGS (9), MISTER REBBILY (4), NIGHT NINJA (10)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-4-9-10

RACE FIVE

CHERRYS THE BEST (2) returned for her 4YO season in sharp order, sweeping a Gold Pot series with wins in both the heat and final to kick off her campaign. The final was a tidy effort when sweeping home to arrive in a new career PB. She found the line well last start as LIVE ATOM dictated and will be hard to stop here.

THE CRUISE MISSILE (1) can look to make it a tough ask for CHERRYS THE BEST and with the peg-line benefits can launch early with the finishing post locked in the sights. Searching for a threepeat last start when landing the 2nd line, he chased gamely for the silver. From the gate he will look to dictate.

GODDESS JUJON (4) followed through from gate 9 last start and soon found herself in the breeze over the 2138m trip. Fighting hard to hold on for the bronze, it was a tidy effort and 1 from 1 here on the triangle will be in the fight.

UNDERTHEKILT (7) was in the pocket trail last start from gate 1 over the 2138m and with the trip was only 4m in arrears of the winner to claim 3rd. With a similarly soft trip on offer, he can be ready to strike.

SELECTIONS: CHERRYS THE BEST (2), THE CRUISE MISSILE (1), GODDESS JUJON (4), UNDERTHEKILT (7)
SUGGESTED BET: CHERRYS THE BEST (2) to win

RACE SIX

GOTTA MOMENT (5) lands a tough gate and will need to bring the A game to overpower some of these opponents. From gate 6 over the AP 2138m 2 starts back, he worked home strongly to arrive for a sharp win. Grabbed late in sharp time on Friday, he has found form and can arrive again.

SAINT KILDA BEACH (2) has been in nice touch since returning for the 4YO season, placing in all 4 appearances including a win 2 starts back. Settling in the 1x1 trail last start, she couldn’t reel in the leader and winner WHERES THE SPIRIT when 6m in arrears. With a pair of wins from 3 outings here at Redcliffe, she is the testing material.

STAR OF MONTANA (9) chased gamely over the 2138m 2 starts back when angling for space and despite never looking likely was still only 2m from the winner. If taking no ill-effect from his run on Fri behind ZAHVEN BANNER, he can be chiming in late.

IM NORMA JEAN (1) wasn’t suited last start when forced to cut the breeze over the 2138m trip and faded in the closing stages. Runner-up at her previous 2 in succession, from the gate she will be around the money here.

SELECTIONS: GOTTA MOMENT (5), SAINT KILDA BEACH (2), STAR OF MONTANA (9), IM NORMA JEAN (1)
SUGGESTED BET: GOTTA MOMENT (5) to win
