RACE TWO

LARRY LINCOLN (3) found the pocket trail from gate 2 last start and with a cosy run made the closing shot a winner up the passing lane. Not suited when working hard in the breeze over the middle-distance his previous 2 starts, he can get forward here and look for back-to-back wins.

KOTARE ELITE (5) found the line in nice order last time out when taking on a mares qualifier when mid-field to VENUS JUJON. Fading in the latter stages after toiling outside the leader the start prior, she faces a sticky gate here but if able to limit the early burn, can look to ask some questions.

DEVOUGED (6) eased from gate 5 last start before attacking the line strongly in the closing stages to be 3m from the winner LARRY LINCOLN. Buried away the start prior, he will be relying on tempo to join in.

TOANUI SPIRIT (1) returns from a spell and was last seen in the SE Oaks where she found them a little out of reach. With the options from the ace, she will take benefit from whatever is achieved in this.

SELECTIONS: LARRY LINCOLN (3), KOTARE ELITE (5), DEVOUGED (6), TOANUI SPIRIT (1)
SUGGESTED BET: LARRY LINCOLN (3) to win

RACE THREE

TORQUE ONETWOTHREE (3) went straight to the front last start at Redcliffe and once in control over the 2040m trip, dictated in front, running them home in a sharp closing 800m. Buried in the run the start prior when probing for openings behind MAN OF ACTION, she can look to fire the opening shots in this.

NIFTY STUDLEIGH (1) pressed on to take control from gate 5 over the Redcliffe sprint trip 2 starts back and kept the tempo upbeat to lead hem all the way. Looking to take them all the way from this gate last start, he was nabbed in the closing stages to settle for 3rd. With the options, he can challenge.

LITTLELIONELJAMES (5) started from gate 7 last time out when retreating to find position. Attacking the line strongly, it was a nice effort behind the winner LARRY LINCOLN. Charging home, the start prior behind subsequent winner ROLL WITH ROCKY, he is in the mix.

ALLSTAR SEA (2) tackled the 2138m last start when settling in the 1x1 trail and finishing 6m from the winner. Placed at both his previous starts, he can settle close to the action here to chime in again.

SELECTIONS: TORQUE ONETWOTHREE (3), NIFTY STUDLEIGH (1), LITTLELIONELJAMES (5), ALLSTAR SEA (2)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-2-3-5

RACE FOUR

HAVANA MAGIC (1)
looks to have found a nice race to target here and gets in well under the conditions from the front tape. Runner-up at her past 3 starts, she was only 2m from MAJESTIC SIMON in open grade last start and 2 starts back was from 10m when working hard in the run. This looks ideal.

TORFINO MIST (9) hit the line strongly last start from a 20m impost to be 3m from the winner JANSSON. 3 starts back at Redcliffe she stepped straight to the front to lead throughout and followed that with a half-head 2nd in a stronger mobile trot behind GREG THE GREAT. She can throw down the challenge.

AVEROSS DON (5) is in nice touch, hitting the board in 8 of his past 12 appearances. Setting the tempo last start over the mobile mile, he was fighting to hold on for the bronze. He is in the mix.

ZOOMAS LEGEND (7) made a perfect start in Qld last tine out when securing a perfect trip in behind the leader and then making the closing shot a winning one. Fitter for the run, he can feature again.

SELECTIONS: HAVANA MAGIC (1), TORFINO MIST (9), AVEROSS DON (5), ZOOMAS LEGEND (7)
SUGGESTED BET: HAVANA MAGIC (1) to win

RACE FIVE

Once again the claimer throws up an open contest and tempo will again be key. After finishing runner-up at 3 of his past 4 starts can INTRANSIT (6) look to go one better this time. Grabbed after leading them up last start over the 2138m, he hit the line strongly here 2 starts back over this trip.

OUR BONDI BEACH (8) likes the peg-line play and although likely of being shuffled back from this alley, he can be looking to light the after-burners when the gaps arrive. Only 8m from CLASSIE AMERICAN last start, it followed a nice 2nd to KEY LARGO. He drops in grade back to claiming ranks.

IMA TOP TYCOON (9) was forced to retreat from a wide gate last start and from back in the pack did not get the chance to work into the contest. With wide gates his past 3, he can slice through to find position to feature here.

COMPLY OR DIE (2) took on a tougher contest last start where he was forced to retreat to find position before trailing them in. Grabbed late after leading them up the start prior, his chances rest with how hard he runs it in front.

SELECTIONS: INTRANSIT (6), OUR BONDI BEACH (8), IMA TOP TYCOON (9), COMPLY OR DIE (2)
SUGGESTED BET: INTRANSIT (6) to win

RACE SIX

SUN SAFE (2) was making her 1st appearance in Qld last week when retreating from gate 5 to find position and look for the short-cuts up the pegs. Diving through late to grab the bronze, it was a nice return following an 8-week break between starts. With added fitness from this gate, she can capitalise.

REMEMBER ME NOW (3) has returned a mixed bag in recent results, but if able to get it together, can play a part in this. Down the line last start over the mile, he struck trouble that ended his chances the start prior. Grabbed in the last strides when beaten a head here 3 back, he can bounce back in this.

OUR BALOU (5) rolled forward from gate 7 over the sprint trip last start and content to cut the breeze was able to put the leader away and claim a 3m victory. Set to work in the run again, he is in the mix.

GOTTA MOMENT (8) made the most of his chances and landing gate 1 at Marburg last start to take them all the way for an easy victory. He is in danger of being buried here and will be probing for gaps.

SELECTIONS: SUN SAFE (2), REMEMBER ME NOW (3), OUR BALOU (5), GOTTA MOMENT (8)
SUGGESTED BET: SUN SAFE (2) to win

RACE SEVEN

LA PLAYER (6) has been in nice touch since joining the Vicki Rasmussen stable and squares off here with 3 wins and a head 2nd in his past 5 starts. Finishing over the top of them las start over the Redcliffe 2040m, it followed a strong effort wide off the track. Despite the gate he can look to continue his form.

LL COOL J (7) joins the Nathan Dawson barn and arrives a six-time winner back in NZ. With some nice form-lines against his name including a 3rd 2 starts back behind COPY THAT, he looked sharp in a recent trial here at The Creek. Gate 7 1st up against fit horses is no luxury, but his trial suggested he is a classy type.

VENUS JUJON (2) scored victory in a mares qualifier last start when securing the 1x1 trial and then finishing best to claim a 2m victory. Settling in a handy position from this gate can see her feature.

TOMMY UNDER FIRE (8) was beaten by the 2nd line and the tempo last start at KIWIS ARE FLYING blitzed them in front. Beaten a lip the start prior behind STOMPEM, he will have early options as the lone 2nd liner.

SELECTIONS: LA PLAYER (6), LL COOL J (7), VENUS JUJON (2), TOMMY UNDER FIRE (8)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE EIGHT

ALWAYS AT NIGHT (7) has no favours from the wide gate but still looks the one to beat. Rolling forward from gate 5 at Redcliffe 2 starts back, he was content to sit at the wheel of the leader before pulling clear for a strong 4m victory. That was reward that had followed 3 successive placings and he can out last them here.

MODERNDAY FALCON (8) was obliged to roll the sleeves to toil in the breeze last start when sent out as the fav. In for the fight, he kept giving to finish mid-field when 8m from the winner. Beaten a similar margin the start prior, he can enjoy an easy trip here and finding space can throw in a bid.

LAZY BLAZE (5) backs up from Wed night where he looked set to be a player from a good alley. Working home wide off the track the start prior at Redcliffe, he can feature in this line-up.

LORD DENZEL (4) has yet to really fire since arriving in Qld, but finds a race where he might just be able to sharpen up somewhat. Forced to race tough 2 starts back, he is on the back-up from Wed night.

SELECTIONS: ALWAYS AT NIGHT (7), MODERNDAY FALCON (8), LAZY BLAZE (5), LORD DENZEL (4)
SUGGESTED BET: ALWAYS AT NIGHT (7) to win

RACE NINE

MY ULTIMATE HELL (2) found suitable conditions last start at Marburg from gate 2 where he was able to press forward, take control and then once in front cruise home for a 14m victory. With the chance to slide in behind the leader or have an early crack, he can go back to back.

BLUE SHARD (5) was sent to the post a red figure fav last time out from gate 3 over this trip. Sent forward to take control, he could not put them away and was forced to settle for the silver when 2m from the winner FIRE ME UP. The wider gate does not make it any easier yet he can still challenge.

RANCHO MAN (4) was locked away on the poles last start from inside the 2nd line when holding on for the bronze behind FIRE ME UP. The smaller field helps and he can be thereabouts once again.

SIR SEMPER FIDELIS (1) will be tightened from his latest outing when 2nd up from a break. Closing out soundly from a 2nd line gate, he can look to capitalise on his best alley for some time.

SELECTIONS: MY ULTIMATE HELL (2), BLUE SHARD (5), RANCHO MAN (4), SIR SEMPER FIDELIS (1)
SUGGESTED BET: MY ULTIMATE HELL (2) to win
