RACE TWO

SNAKES N LADDERS (1) has been meeting some handy line-ups and with the benefit of the ace gate looks to get every chance. He found LUCKY UNLUCKY too smart last start, with his run 3 back a nice effort from the pegs. A winner of a similar race 4 starts back he can move up the board.

ALLNIGHT MLADY (6) has no luxuries from this gate but looks to be going better than some of her opponents in this. 2 starts back she had no luck in finding position when down the line behind the in-form GOODTIME STRIDE and her effort in a mares qualifier last start was sound. She can podium.

ONE LAST ROLL (9) worked hard in the run at the non-TAB Marburg fixture 2 starts back and was a brave 2nd to FAT KENNYS DROP. Settling in the running line he can chime into the money here.

RUFFALO (7) hasn’t had much luck in transit in recent starts and found himself chasing from a long way back. With the right run and provided he is not too far back he can be thereabous.

SELECTIONS: SNAKES N LADDERS (1), ALLNIGHT MLADY (6), ONE LAST ROLL (9), RUFFALO (7)
SUGGESTED BET: SNAKES N LADDERS (1) to win

RACE THREE

ULTIMATE AD (4) will strip fitter for his return to the track last start to kick-off his 4YO term. He didn’t have the cleanest passage when down the line behind the smart ONE OFF. Prior to his break he was only 7m from COREY WILLIAM and then took on the 3YO Triad Final. Winless on the track he can change that here.

VINNIE THE POET (2) took on a 2138m contest 2 starts back and did a good job when 5m from the winner ITSMEGS. Last start he held the breeze and did plenty of work in the run before the effort told and he weakened in the stretch. With a lighter work-load he can be sharper here.

PARKLANE LASS (6) has started 3 times since returning from a break and should be tightened from her latest effort when claiming the silver behind KAYJAYS TERROR. She has some claims in this.

MATRON JUJON (8) was a long way back in the run last start after going back from gate 7 and then when she did see space the race was gone. With a slice of luck to sight an opening she can place.

SELECTIONS: ULTIMATE AD (4), VINNIE THE POET (2), PARKLANE LASS (6), MATRON JUJON (8)
SUGGESTED BET: ULTIMATE AD (4) to win

RACE FOUR

TELL THE FUTURE (9)
will take good benefit from her last start where she was returning from a break. Holding the front from gate 2 over the Redcliffe 1780m, she set a solid closing 800m and led them deep into the stretch to go down 3m. Trailing through to settle handy this is within reach.

DOMESTIC ART (1) went back from gate 5 last start over this trip and was too far back when trying to work into the contest. That followed successive runs from the 2nd line and with his best work done when able to control the speed, he can look to hold them out and dictate in this.

HE GETS IT (7) has been freshened since he was last seen when doing some early work and finishing mid-field. Only 8m from GLENFERRIE BABY 2 starts back he has place claims despite the wide gate.

CHEYENNE WARRIOR (2) couldn’t find position from gate 4 at Redcliffe last start and was snagged all the way back effectively ending his chances. Settling closer here will see an improved effort.

SELECTIONS: TELL THE FUTURE (9), DOMESTIC ART (1), HE GETS IT (7), CHEYENNE WARRIOR (2)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE FIVE

SPONDOOLEY (5) held up early before releasing the front to eventual winner TIWANAKU at Redcliffe last start and from the pocket trail went within a half-neck of victory. Snagged back and buried away the start prior, if able to find position without getting too far back he is up to this open affair.

OLIVER WINKLE (8) is in nice touch with a top 3 finish at his past 4 starts with 2 of those resulting in victory. Away from the pegs early from inside the 2nd line over the Redcliffe 1780m last start, he packed too many guns to score a 6m victory. Only 2m from the winner 2 back he just needs luck.

VADER (6) released the front over the mile last start to eventual winner FRANCO TOTEM after starting from gate 1. That was a stronger contest and his closing splits were strong and with even luck he can chime in.

OHOKA COOPER (9) took on claiming company last start and after being buried away in the run was probing for openings that didn’t arrive yet was only 6m from the winner. He has place claims here.

SELECTIONS: SPONDOOLEY (5), OLIVER WINKLE (8), VADER (6), OHOKA COOPER (9)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 5-6-8-9

RACE SIX

TOOK YOUR TIME (11)
went to the pegs from gate 10 at Redcliffe last start and after being buried 4 back in the run was making good closing ground to be 7m from the winner TIWANAKU. Sent to the breeze 2 starts back he went within a half-head of the winner and with the right tempo can take this.

ONE MANS PASS (6) found his race to turn around a run of outs at Redcliffe 3 starts back when scoring a comfortable victory. He followed that with a strong 2nd to STEVIE DEE and last start chased hard from gate 10 behind GOODTIME STRIDE. The wide gate hurts but he is right in the mix.

YKIKAFIL (5) will take good benefit from his winning return to the track from a spell when taking on a 1780m Redcliffe contest from gate 10. Sent to the breeze early he was too strong and has claims here.

WERELIVINGTHEDREAM (1) has good early speed and from this gate can look take control early. A winner 4 starts back when leading throughout, she hasn’t been suited since and from the gate can place.

SELECTIONS: TOOK YOUR TIME (11), ONE MANS PASS (6), YKIKAFIL (5), WERELIVINGTHEDREAM (1)
SUGGESTED BET: TOOK YOUR TIME (11) to win

RACE SEVEN

DRIVE THE DREAM (9) is on the short back-up from Tues where she was taking on a similar type race from gate 6. Not suited from inside the 2nd line at her previous 2 starts, she might just be sent forward early here and if able to get in a handy position is worth a throw at the stumps.

MAGOOGAN (8) will need a slice of luck to go his way but sighting an opening can be ready to offer a challenge. Stripping fitter from his latest start , he found the tempo too slick and with this an easier assignment he can look to take his shot.

CHARLYSE (5) was 1st up from a break here into Sat Night company and after finding the front couldn’t see it out. This looks more suitable and she can bounce back.

GOD SAKE (4) will take good benefit from his 1st up run last time out at Redcliffe when returning from over 12 months off the scene. The run had merit from gate 6 and he can chime in here.

SELECTIONS: DRIVE THE DREAM (9), MAGOOGAN (8), CHARLYSE (5), GOD SAKE (4)
SUGGESTED BET: DRIVE THE DREAM (9) each-way

RACE EIGHT

BIG BEAT (11)
has no favours from this gate but with some tempo up front can look to swoop over the top in the closing stages. Too classy at Redcliffe over the 1780m 2 starts back when swooping home to score in red figures, his latest 2nd to PRECIOUS CULLEN was solid and he can sneak away with this.

CAESARS ASTRUM (2) has been in the money at her past 4, including a Redcliffe 2040m win when leading all the way. Taking on a mares qualifier here on Sat night she found the pocket trail from gate 5 when a 6m 3rd to THE NEXT STAR. With the speed to find the pegs she won’t be far away.

SAMMARI (9) was sent forward from gate 8 at Redcliffe last start and once in control was able to stave off the closing challenge. This is harder but with the right early trail she can feature.

STEVIE DEE (7) has found some form and has wins at 2 of her past 3 starts and 2nd in the other. Last start she was able to thread a passage through the middle of the pack and finish too strongly. With no favours from the gate she has podium claims.

SELECTIONS: BIG BEAT (11), CAESARS ASTRUM (2), SAMMARI (9), STEVIE DEE (7)
SUGGESTED BET: BIG BEAT (11) each-way
