RACE TWO

LIVING GRAND (8) was runner-up in 3 successive outings when beaten 1m, a head and 4m when facing the breeze in each. Rolling forward to the breeze again here at his most recent start he dug in for the fight when 4.5m from TIWANAKU. This looks an easier assignment and he can be too tough.

STEVIE DEE (9) will take good benefit from her latest outing when 2^nd up from a freshen. Her 1^st up effort saw her prove too strong when cutting the breeze from gate 4 over the 1780m trip and score a nice win. On Thurs she again was forced to work when runner-up to IM NORMA JEAN and can go close here.

MALONE (7) will need a slice of luck from this gate but if able to sight an opening can chime into the money. Best of the chasers behind ONE OFF at AP last start he will be probing for an opening.

WRITEABOUTCHELSEA (3) started from inside the 2^nd line last start and chased home gamely when 8m from BIG BEAT. With good early speed she can get forward to find a position and has claims.

RACE THREE

WAVEDANCER (9) worked home in good order from gate 4 when finishing 7m from ARTS PEREGRINE over the 2040m trip. From this same gate last start over the 1780m he worked home and finished best to arrive for a half-neck victory. He finds another winnable race and can go back-to-back.

CAESAR COURT (10) was luckless from behind the leader at Marburg 3 starts back and never got a shot at them and went to the line un-tested. A tidy effort behind CAESARS ASTRUM followed and then on Thurs made the most of gate 1 to take them all the way. Despite the gate he can challenge.

DOOLITTLE DOOFY (8) has met stronger opponents at his past 2 starts when finishing in 4^th on each occasion. He goes around at AP on Fri and with even luck in transit has claims here.

PRIVATE JUJON (2) hasn’t been suited at his past 2 starts since returning from a break, Snagged back after unable to find position last start he can look for the pegs here and has exotic hopes.

RACE FOUR

WEASEL (7) started from outside the 2^nd line here on Wed night and working home wide off the track was able to grind his way to victory and score by a half-head. He will need plenty of luck here, but if able to find the passing lane with momentum will be ready to take the closing shot.

NOTTELLINYA (2) will take benefit from his latest start when returning from a break. He took on a much stronger line-up in that and while he will need to hustle to protect the pegs, there looks to be limited pressure off the front and he might just be able to sneak his way into the money.

THE FORMULA ONE (10) covered plenty of territory last start after being caught wide for a good portion of the race. He never saw space the start prior and this is well within reach despite the tricky gate.

MODERN THOUGHT (8) found the pegs 1^st before taking a trail on the eventual winner IM TOOT and holding 3^rd. That was a much sharper effort from her previous few and with the right trail can chime in again.

RACE FIVE

POPS CHANGE (1) will take further experience from his latest outing which was just his 3^rd career start. Run-down in the closing stages when on debut by BETTERTHAN TORQUE, he finished best of the chasing pack behind the smart ONE OFF 2^nd up. From the gate he can dictate.

DALLAS COWGIRL (7) was a passing lane winner here 3 starts back after securing the pocket trail fro, gate 1. Only 3m away at her next outing when closing out strongly she will once again get a perfect trip here and will be coiled and ready for the snipers shot.

TAFFY BOY (8) did his share of work in the run 3 starts back and battled gamely to hold on for 3^rd. From this gate he can drop to the pegs early for a soft trip and saving ground can make this a peg-dominated affair.

NOT ALWAYS (10) was hitting the line strongly last start and was able to get within 1.5m of the winner when finishing 3^rd. He will be closing out strongly again here and is in the mix.

RACE SIX

ASHLEYS ANGEL (2) found the line in good style at AP 2 starts back after being angled to the pegs over the 2138m trip and holding ground to the line. That followed a sound effort here over the sprint trip while her latest run can be forgotten after striking trouble. Finding the pegs she can dictate.

OLIVER WINKLE (7) has the benefit of being the sole 2^nd line runner and he might be off and around them early to throw down the challenge. Too strong from the breeze here 2 starts back he was hitting the line strongly from a 2^nd line gate to be 2m from TIWANAKU last start. Big danger.

SUBTLE ADVICE (4) had an early burn to have a shot for the front at AP last start and was then forced to work in the breeze. He dug in for the fight behind EARL JUJON and can feature here.

KEROBOKAN (5) makes his Qld debut for Adam Richardson and arrives with tidy numbers from racing around the Riverina of NSW. With good early speed he might just want to have a look and stays under notice.

RACE SEVEN

REDRIVERDEBBA (4) worked to the breeze from a 30m tape at AP on Tues and after doing her share of work in the run was fighting on to the line to claim the bronze when 8m from ASTRAL RULER. That followed a tidy effort from the mobile behind MIRACLE RISING and this looks to have her name on it.

GO AHEAD MAKEMYDAY (3) started from 20m last start at Marburg and hit the line in good style to grab the silver and only beaten a half-neck. He kept whacking away to the line here 2 starts back behind PATSDELIGHT and with a safe start from the front tape can issue a strong challenge.

DAY TOURER (5) found the pocket trail from a 30m impost here last start and was sound in finishing 3^rd to MIRACLE RISING. His run 3 starts back was strong when working and he is right in the mix here.
