RACE TWO

HEART OF CHANGE (7) was cleanly away from the 10m tape over the middle distance here 2 starts back and once in control was safe in her gait all the way, cruising home to a big victory. Last start from the 20m, she was game in the breeze fighting all the way when 3m in arrears. This is no harder.

IM THE COMMANDO (8) will strip fitter from his latest start when resuming from a freshen. Coming off a 40m tape over the 2138m, he was sound to the line. Back to the 30m over the longer trip looks to suit and despite a handful of ordinary numbers, he can’t be dismissed in this type of contest.

THE REAPER (3) started fav last time out from the 10m and after settling in the 1x1 trail in transit, was hitting the line well to be 5m from the winner. A winner at both previous starts, he can feature.

MONORAIL (5) was sent forward to the breeze last start over the middle-distance trip and was in for the fight when grabbing the silver. In good touch at present, the longer trip is the query.

SELECTIONS: HEART OF CHANGE (7), IM THE COMMANDO (8), THE REAPER (3), MONORAIL (5)
SUGGESTED BET: HEART OF CHANGE (7) to win

RACE THREE

THE DOORMAN (6) completed a hat-trick of victories to remain undefeated in Aus when proving too strong from the breeze last start. Content to park out, he packed too many weapons in ripping home in 55.3 for a smart win. He rises to the 2138m for the 1st time this campaign and can continue the shut-out for his opponents.

GODDESS JUJON (1) will strip fitter after returning to the track last start from this same gate over the mile. Sent for a beak after fading out in the 3YO Fillies Triad taken out by SMART AS CAMM BE back in April, her condition faded when THE DOORMAN proved too tough last start. She won’t be far away.

MISS BLUE GLORY (3) started from the 2nd line last start in the same race as the above two and was hitting the line in good order after settling back in the pack. The front line helps, yet the distance is a ???

THE MONEY BALL (2) was angled to the pegs looking for the short-cuts last start ad was sound to the line when 7m in arrears of the winner. He can look for the poles and the soft trip again to fill the exotics.

SELECTIONS: THE DOORMAN (6), GODDESS JUJON (1), MISS BLUE GLORY (3), THE MONEY BALL (2)
SUGGESTED BET: THE DOORMAN (6) to win

RACE FOUR

After making the most of conditions last start by finding the front from gate 2, the same result looks on offer for BEEF CITY STARZZZ (1) and he can make it successive wins. Holding on to score by a head last time, with limited pressure in the run here, gets the chance to dictate once again.

MISTER FARENHEIT (8) will be glued to the back of the leader and be waiting to stake his claim in the stretch. Looking to take them all the way over the Redcliffe sprint trip last start, he was grabbed on the wire to go under a head. He will be coiled and waiting his chance in this.

THE HUMMER (7) started his career the best way possible when scoring on debut against 2YO company, finishing best to score. He has no favours from this alley, but finds a suitable target.

LAZY BLAZE (4) was able to take them all the way over the Redcliffe sprint trip 2 starts back, closing out a tidy last 800m. Buried in the run last start, he can chime in late here.

SELECTIONS: BEEF CITY STARZZZ (1), MISTER FARENHEIT (8), THE HUMMER (7), LAZY BLAZE (4)
SUGGESTED BET: BEEF CITY STARZZZ (1) to win

RACE FIVE

HALF MOON BEACH (5) rolled forward from gate 6 last start to take up the lamp lighting duties when only grabbed in the closing stages by a swooping ROLLONX. Runner-up in 3 of his past 5 outings, he looks set to get across them here and if able to limit the burn, can fight them off.

HALLY GUINEVERE (2) has been in the money at 3 of her past 5 starts but wasn’t suited last start when back in the pack from the 2nd line. Grabbed in the closing stages when looking to lead all the way 2 starts back, she can get pegs and cover here with a brother/sister quinella looking promising.

SUPREME BANNER (8) showed last start that the bigger expanses of The Creek are in his favour, when working wide off the track to get within 2m of the winner. With early options he can feature.

BEYONSKI (6) looks the best of the rest to fill the exotic numbers despite the wide alley. She never had a decent shot last start when buried away and can be thereabouts this time around.

SELECTIONS: HALF MOON BEACH (5), HALLY GUINEVERE (2), SUPREME BANNER (8), BEYONSKI (6)
SUGGESTED BET: HALF MOON BEACH (5) to win

RACE SIX

THATS HOW WEROLL (9) is a horse that needs factors in his favour to feature and he might just have found them in this. 3 starts back there was merit in his run behind the talented SPEECH IS SILVER and he has placed in both runs since, the latest when 6m from GUNRNEEDABIGRBOAT. With good tempo, look for him swooping.

COBBLER LANE (6) settled back in the pack from gate 11 last start when working home in good order, yet with the race set up from the front with a scamper home, was always facing a task. Too strong in front here 2 starts back, he can get into the contest and be fighting hard.

HAVANA MOON (7) will be looking to make it 3 successive wins at the track and trip in 8 days. Taking out a mares qualifier on Sat night when closing out strongly, the gate dents her chances.

GOALKICKER (1) was snagged back from gate 6 last start to the pegs and worked home well despite not getting any return. From this inside gate she will get the options and has exotic claims.

SELECTIONS: THATS HOW WEROLL (9), COBBLER LANE (6), HAVANA MOON (7), GOALKICKER (1)
SUGGESTED BET: THATS HOW WEROLL (9) to win

RACE SEVEN

In a tricky little contest, there looks to be plenty of front-line speed which will make the lead keenly contested. While JUMPING JOLT (3) is not electric out, he should be able to press his way forward and from the front would get his chance. Luckless last start, he chased home the airborne ONE HELL OF A RIDE 2 starts back.

FAT PROPHET (7) is the only runner engaged today from the Morris stable that were able to claim half the card on Sat night. He has been tackling the claiming ranks at Menangle in recent starts, the latest when hitting the line soundly over the 2300m. If the tempo is hot, look for the swoop.

BET IM SPECIAL (8) resumes from a spell and will get the opportunity to return without having to work in the run and can be coiled for the closing shot. Given 2 trials to open the pipes, he will be probing for the gaps.

CHAPTER ONE (5) has good speed out of the machine and if he musters enough momentum to take up the lamp-lighting duties, he will take a power of catching. Beaten a lip last start, he can’t be ignored.

SELECTIONS: JUMPING JOLT (3), FAT PROPHET (7), BET IM SPECIAL (8), CHAPTER ONE (5)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 3-5-7-8

RACE EIGHT

TENNYSON BROMAC (7) has found is rhythm and will look to secure a hat-trick of victories and make it wins at 5 of his past 6. Rolling forward from gate 6 last start to face the breeze he was able to worry MATTGREGOR out of it, sizzling home in sub 27 over the 2138m. Despite the gate he looks to have their measure.

NEWMERELLA SHARKIE (3) has been good in both runs back from a break, the latest a real eye-catcher when a luckless 2nd. Aiming up for the passing lane but forced to check back after the door shut, he attacked the line hard to get within a pimple of the winner. He has tactical speed that gives him options and he is right in this.

BODHI TREE (10) has been freshened since his last appearance when taking on SAT night FFA company. Only 6m away against much stronger opponents here 2 starts back, he is right in the fight.

CARDLESFROMHEAVEN (2) faces arguably the toughest assignment of his limited career, but he lands the good alley and is in form. A smart winner 3 starts back, he was only narrowly beaten from gate 9 last start and is in the mix.

SELECTIONS: TENNYSON BROMAC (7), NEWMERELLA SHARKIE (3), BODHI TREE (10), CARDLESFROMHEAVEN (2)
SUGGESTED BET: TENNYSON BROMAC (7) to win
