RACE TWO

GIRL ON THE GO (1) will take good benefit from her latest outing when 1st up in 7 months. Easing from gate 3 to find position, it was a tidy return behind ALBION ARK. A passing lane winner here 4 starts back, she will have the options and the return to mares company is a big plus.

KETTERING GIRL (7) should appreciate this level of contest after meeting some tougher events in recent starts. Buried away from gate 1 over the AP 2138m last start, she was hampered as BREACH THE BEACH powered home to score. With an economical trip, she can challenge in the stretch.

LUCKY LYLA (6) has the wide gate to negotiate yet will find this easier than recent outings and the mares only company an even bigger plus. 3rd to OUR UNCLE JIM last start, she was close to MACH LE MORE the start prior. With even luck, this is far from out of reach.

BARA JAYLA (4) was a winner here 5 starts back when making a closing challenge to arrive for the prize. Not that far away at all 4 runs since, she was only 6m from HUNZA VALLEY last start in a mares qualifier. Look for her late.

SELECTIONS: GIRL ON THE GO (1), KETTERING GIRL (7), LUCKY LYLA (6), BARA JAYLA (4)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-4-6-7

RACE THREE

This shapes as a tricky little contest with a few of them looking to recapture form. Fitter from 3 runs back from a spell can see HOLLIE (3) get her chance here. Chasing home for the bronze behind the handy BETTOR MEMORIES last start, she was beaten by gate 6 over the AP mile the start prior. From the gate she can take this.

WILLSINTOWN (5) has worked his way back into form and after successive 2nd placed returns, franked the effort with a last start victory. Weaving a passage to arrive, he lost momentum but was able to reset and challenge late for the win. The wide gate stings but he can throw it down here.

TEACHERS PET (8) has placed in 4 of her past 5 starts, the latest at Marburg when forced to do it the tough way outside the leader. With the right early trail, she can be in the mix.

GOSLING IN FLIGHT (6) steps out for the 1st time in Qld for the Taleah McMullen stable, arriving as a last start winner at Young. Toiling hard in the breeze to claim that win, he stays under watch in this.

SELECTIONS: HOLLIE (3), WILLSINTOWN (5), TEACHERS PET (8), GOSLING IN FLIGHT (6)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE FOUR

ALWAYS AT NIGHT (3) eased from gate 5 last start to look for the pegs and the short-cuts home over the AP mile. Hitting the line in nice order behind the winner SONNY ORLANDO, he looks to have found suitable conditions here and from the gate can look to get forward to a prominent position.

HIT THE TRACK (5) held the pocket trail from gate 1 last start over the 2040m trip when sent to the post as fav. Using the passing lane, he was 8m in arrears of the winner MONTANA LAD. Not suited the start prior from gate 7, the winless streak extending over 12 months can be broken here.

KAY NORA SHANNON (7) found them a bit slick last start over the AP sprint trip and was not entirely comfortable either. 3rd at her previous 2 in succession, she can get a soft trip here to chime in late.

PACIFIC COIN (6) will find this easier than his past couple, the latest when down the line in a 2nd division qualifier. Placed at his previous 2, he can settle close enough to feature in this line-up.

SELECTIONS: ALWAYS AT NIGHT (3), HIT THE TRACK (5), KAY NORA SHANNON (7), PACIFIC COIN (6)
SUGGESTED BET: ALWAYS AT NIGHT (3) to win

RACE FIVE

VALOROSO HANOVER (1) is hit and miss and after landing the ace gate, punters will be hoping it is a hit performance from him in this. A strong winner from the breeze 4 runs back over the 2040m trip, not much has worked his past 3 when down the line in each. With the chance to dictate, can he bring the A game?

BREACH THE BEACH (8) is in great touch and completed a hat-trick of victories here last start when holding them out from gate 1 and leading throughout to an easy victory. Arriving from back in the pack the start prior over the 2138m at headquarters, he will need to work at some stage here to throw down the challenge.

SONNY SAVEAO (6) returns from an 8 month break with his last campaign consisting of 3 starts that had followed a 15-month break. Winning all 3 starts in that last campaign, he stays under notice.

FIRE AND ICE (7) was beaten by gate 12 last start at Albion Park when too far back to make any impression as KIWIS ARE FLYING controlled proceedings. With an easy trip here, he can chime in.

SELECTIONS: VALOROSO HANOVER (1), BREACH THE BEACH (8), SONNY SAVEAO (6), FIRE AND ICE (7)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-6-7-8

RACE SIX

SWORD AND SHIELD (8) has another 2nd line gate to contend with here, something that he is well used to, having drawn no closer than gate 5 in his past 15 in succession. Runner-up to BREACH THE BEACH when working home strongly over the AP 2138m 2 starts back, he was then 5m from that same winner last start. With some early front-line tempo, he can arrive for the prize.

TAJIE BABY (4) was a strong winner from the breeze here 3 starts back when content to do it the tough way and grind out a smart win in a tidy closing 800m sectional. Tackling mares qualifiers at her past 2, she grabbed the bronze to SHEZ GRINNIN and then struck trouble last start. This is within reach.

A KERRY MAN (1) started fav last start from this gate and running even panels in front looked to have every chance, fading in the closing stages to hold on for 3rd. With options he can chime in.

ONE LAST ROLL (3) has placed at his past 3 in succession, the latest when grabbed in the closing stages by MILLWOOD TILLY over the AP 2138m trip. With good early speed, he can fire the early shots.

SELECTIONS: SWORD AND SHIELD (8), TAJIE BABY (4), A KERRY MAN (1), ONE LAST ROLL (3)
SUGGESTED BET: SWORD AND SHIELD (8) to win

RACE SEVEN

JUST WON MORE (7) found the right conditions here last time and from gate 4 found the running line over the sprint trip. Making a closing play, he swept on by to forge clear to a 10m victory. Only a half-neck away here 3 starts back, he looks set for the perfect trip to make the closing shot a winner.

MONTEREY JACK (9) is never far from the action and added another placing to the tally last start when working home in good order to grab the silver. Not much went his way the start prior yet he was still mid-field to BREACH THE BEACH. With even luck in transit he can make a late challenge.

JILLIBY GIZMO (3) was buried away against the pegs last start in a 2nd division qualifier when mid-field behind RIVERLEIGH ROCKET. He should appreciate this level of contest and has claims.

MONTANA LAD (6) was wide off the track last start over the 2040m and had too many bullets to fire in claiming a comfortable 5m victory. That had followed a pair of tidy AP efforts and he has claims again despite the tough gate.

SELECTIONS: JUST WON MORE (7), MONTEREY JACK (9), JILLIBY GIZMO (3), MONTANA LAD (6)
SUGGESTED BET: JUST WON MORE (7) to win

RACE EIGHT

In a race that looks to have plenty of speed off the front line over the sprint trip, it might be left for swoopers to pick them off. LIFES A JUNGLE (3) fits that profile and did not have much go his was last start in a qualifier behind IMASPORTSSTAR. Runner-up to HANDSOME HERO 3 starts back, he can tuck in behind the speed here to charge home.

ITZ MY GENERATION (8) ended a frustrating run of placings when proving too strong over the AP 2138m 2 starts back. From gate 5 last time over the mile, he was snagged back and was taking good metres off them in the closing stages when 7m in arrears. With the right early trail, he can challenge.

BET IM SPECIAL (2) should appreciate the return to the front line and can look to utilise his early speed to land a forward position. Working home strongly last start, he took them all the way here 3 back and can be thereabouts again.

LISA LINCOLN (7) shoots for the hat-trick after wins over the AP mile and the 1780m here. Moving around them here last start, she did her share of work and had enough power to claim the win. Needing some luck for the threepeat, she is in the mix.

SELECTIONS: LIFES A JUNGLE (3), ITZ MY GENERATION (8), BET IM SPECIAL (2), LISA LINCOLN (7)
SUGGESTED BET: LIFES A JUNGLE (3) to win

RACE NINE

LITTLE CHANGE (8) is on the short back-up from Tuesday where he looked a podium hope from this same gate. Closing hard from well back the start prior when not that far from the winner BRIDGET BLUE CHIP, the wide gate made it too tough the start prior. With even luck he can arrive in this.

HES OKEY DOKEY (4) faced strong support in the market last start when stepping out for Adam Sanderson for the 1st time. From gate 2 he could not match the early speed of BEE GEES BANDIT who speared out to lead them all the way. 1 from 1 here on The Triangle, this is within reach.

ALE ALE KAI (2) was sent to the pegs from gate 10 last start to look for some short-cuts and an easier trip when holding ground to the line in a slick last 800m. From the improved gate she is a chance.

MONTANA CHIEF (6) found the 1x1 trail last start when looming up strongly in the stretch only to be nabbed by the charging BRIDGET BLUE CHIP, beaten a neck. The gate hurts, but he can feature.

SELECTIONS: LITTLE CHANGE (8), HES OKEY DOKEY (4), ALE ALE KAI (2), MONTANA CHIEF (6)
SUGGESTED BET: LITTLE CHANGE (8) to win

RACE TEN

MISTER HART (7) worked home from a rearward position to grab the bronze last start after retreating from gate 6 over the AP 2138m to find position. His run 3 back behind the subsequent winner HANDSOME HERO was a nice effort and with the economical trip can burst through late.

OUR LITTLE DIGGER (4) faces a class drop here but comes up with a sticky gate in the process. Finding the line in good order last start behind THE DEMOCRAT it followed a 1m 2nd to NURBURGRING along the passing lane. His numbers do not tell the story and he can challenge.

BURMACH (8) eased from gate 5 last time out over this trip when working home strongly to grab the bronze when 5m from the winner LISA LINCOLN. Not far away his previous 2 from the 2nd line, he has claims again.

BEEF CITY BLAZE (9) was a Marburg winner 2 starts back when the gap opened, and he was able to sprint home to score. Closing nicely here 3 starts back, with the right run in transit he can chime in.

SELECTIONS: MISTER HART (7), OUR LITTLE DIGGER (4), BURMACH (8), BEEF CITY BLAZE (9)
SUGGESTED BET:
