RACE TWO

IM THE COMMANDO (3) has hit the board in 9 of his past 11 outings, with 4 victories in that stretch. Stepping cleanly and continuing to press forward, he was soon in front last start over the 2613m from the tapes. Grabbed late after setting the tempo over the mobile 2138m the start prior, he can put the power on here to make them chase.

MATATOKI (1) made a costly error that ended his chances last start from the stand. Forced to cut the breeze the start prior when sent forward from gate 7 over them mobile 2138m trip, he was in for the fight. With good speed off the arm and the ace gate, he has the options here to get his chance.

OUR OVERANOVA (6) makes a rare Tuesday appearance with the majority of his outings consigned to the late Saturday night slot. A strong winner from the mobile 2 starts back, he has hit the target in 6 of his 12 here on The Triangle and can never be discounted.

GREG THE GREAT (5) was back in the pack when trying to make ground last start from the 20m tape which had followed a 3m margin behind OUR OVERANOVA. The wide gate stings his hopes here.

SELECTIONS: IM THE COMMANDO (3), MATATOKI (1), OUR OVERANOVA (6), GREG THE GREAT (5)
SUGGESTED BET: IM THE COMMANDO (3) to win

RACE THREE

MISTER FINNIGAN (8) franked his 1st up Qld effort when scoring a comfortable win here last week from a similar alley. Forced to toil in the breeze over the AP mile 1st up, he finished hard as a short-priced elect here last time to claim a smart win. With this no harder, it looks a case of rinse and repeat.

TOO GOOD FOR YOU (5) found the right contest last time out when working to the front over the 2040m trip and once in control held on for an easy 3m victory. Locked away the start prior from inside the 2nd line, the gate stings but he can get into the right position to challenge in this.

SHEZ ALL STYLE (7) will strip fitter following her latest outing when 1st up from a break. Working home wide off the track, she was able to grab the bronze behind MISTER FINNIGAN. She will be probing for openings.

SIXPENNY RED (2) faces a tougher test as she shoots for the hat-trick after successive wins here at the Peninsula. Working home from wide off the track last start, she can settle handy from this gate.

SELECTIONS: MISTER FINNIGAN (8), TOO GOOD FOR YOU (5), SHEZ ALL STYLE (7), SIXPENNY RED (2)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE FOUR

We don’t often see maiden only events in the Tuesday card, but we get an open one here to line-up. He comes up with the wide gate, but APACHE WHITESOX (6) can look to open his account here off the back of a tidy effort last time out. Not much went his way but he was still strong to the line when 6m from FAST IS BETTOR. Fitter from 2 runs back from a break, he strikes a winnable contest.

IAM ROCHELLES ART (3) is not far from a win and lands the right gate to press her credentials for an account opening victory. Behind the speed last start, she grabbed the bronze when 5m in arrears of MOTU AMETHYST. Grabbed late when leading them up the start prior, she can challenge strongly.

DUCHESS DOWNUNDER (7) looks set for an economical trip from this alley and with the easy trip be probing for the gaps late. Forget her last start when striking trouble, she is a podium chance in this.

VALKYRIE HANOVER (1) was angled to the pegs for the short-cuts last start when not that far from the winner MOTU AMETHYST. 6m away from the winner to claim 3rd here 2 starts back, she has hopes.

SELECTIONS: APACHE WHITESOX (6), IAM ROCHELLES ART (3), DUCHESS DOWNUNDER (7), VALKYRIE HANOVER (1)
SUGGESTED BET: APACHE WHITESOX (6) to win

RACE FIVE

GIDUP CAPTAIN (4) will take benefit from his 1st run back from a break and 1st since joining the Donny Smith yard. Grinding it out in the breeze when returning, he was game when beaten a flared nostril. The wider gate will make him earn it, but he looks to get his chance to cash-in here.

HAPPY PUBLICANS (3) was sent to the post a red figure fav here 2 starts back from gate 9 where he was forced to work mighty hard in the run. In for the fight, he was strong in defeat when 2m from RINGOS A STAR. Things did not go to plan last start and back to a front line gate he can challenge.

TORQUE IN CONTROL (2) was runner-up to her smart stable-mate DANCE IN THE SUN last time out when chasing in vain, 22m in arrears but ahead of the other chasers. Placed in 4 of 7 here at The Triangle, she is in the mix.

JOY TO ALL (1) returns from a spell after her 1st campaign returned a pair of placings in 4 outings. 2nd last start to JUSTA LITTLE BIT, she has the gate for an easy trip to chime into the money.

SELECTIONS: GIDUP CAPTAIN (4), HAPPY PUBLICANS (3), TORQUE IN CONTROL (2), JOY TO ALL (1)
SUGGESTED BET: GIDUP CAPTAIN (4) to win

RACE SIX

KWASII (2) is knocking on the door, finishing runner-up at his past 3 starts, the latest when working home from well back to finish within 2m of the winner SIXPENNY RED. Setting the tempo 2 starts back, he was grabbed late by LARRY LINCOLN and from this gate can look to dictate.

ROCKNROLL DA GAMA (3) is a newcomer to Qld and arrives as a last start Menangle winner. Joining the Lola Weidemann barn, the 4YO was given a pipe-opener at the trials where he put up a tidy effort to familiarise himself with the triangle and from the good alley can throw it down against these.

NEWMERELLA MOLLY (4) will be further tightened from her last start when 2nd up from a break without a trail. Doing it the tough way last start she was game in claiming 2nd to MISTER FINNIGAN and has claims here.

PATCHWORK JET (9) eased from gate 4 last start to find position before making a late dive to be within 5m of the winner. With even luck in transit he can be finding a way to chime in late.

SELECTIONS: KWASII (2), ROCKNROLL DA GAMA (3), NEWMERELLA MOLLY (4), PATCHWORK JET (9)
SUGGESTED BET: KWASII (2) to win

RACE SEVEN

SPECIAL RESERVE (1) has a tidy record at this track and from the ace holds the key to this contest with the available options. Strong when runner-up last start after working in the run from the breeze, the start prior she was buried away from inside the 2nd line and closing nicely. This is within her grasp.

FEELINGFORAMIRACLE (2) will be further tightened from his latest outing when 2nd up from a break. Easing from gate 6 to look for some short-cuts he was not that far from the action behind the dictating winner BEE GEES BANDIT. With early bullets to fire, he can get forward early.

LETS GO BETTER (4) eased from gate 5 to find position last start with the tempo favouring those near the front over the 2138m. Fitter following 2 runs here in Qld, he has claims in this.

PSYCHEDELIC (9) may not have the best record here on The Triangle, but if the tempo is hot in this race, he is the off-pace runner that can swoop late. Chasing behind HOLY CAMP CLIVE last start, he is a podium hope.

SELECTIONS: SPECIAL RESERVE (1), FEELINGFORAMIRACLE (2), LETS GO BETTER (4), PSYCHEDELIC (9)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-2-4-9

RACE EIGHT

ROLL WITH ROCKY (5) started from inside the 2nd line last start and was soon buried in the run with his hopes buried as well. Finding front the start prior over the AP mile, he was setting an even tempo in front when nabbed late, 2m from the in-form MACH LE MORE. Despite the gate he can take this.

COPPICE (3) takes his 1st look at Redcliffe, arriving as he hast started to return some handy efforts. Settling back in the pack from gate 5 over the AP mile 2 starts back, he finished best to claim a smart 7m victory. Working home from back in the pack last start, he can look to challenge in this.

VENUS JUJON (8) returns from a spell following a mid-field finish behind FOND MEMORIES in the 3YO Triad back in May. A strong winner 2 starts back over the mile, she has trialled soundly and can feature 1st up.

SHADYS DELIGHT (4) keeps chipping away and last start worked home strongly from back in the field to grab the silver behind the strong winner LITTLELIONELJAMES. Never far from the action, he can chime in again.

SELECTIONS: ROLL WITH ROCKY (5), COPPICE (3), VENUS JUJON (8), SHADYS DELIGHT (4)
SUGGESTED BET: ROLL WITH ROCKY (5) to win

RACE NINE

ABBEY DIADEMA (2) was back in the pack last start from the 2nd line and worked home in good order to grab the bronze when 8m from the winner SIXPENNY RED. Setting the tempo over the AP mile 3 starts back, she was grabbed in the closing stages. If she can pinch a panel or 2 in front here, she can capitalise.

FAST IS BETTOR (4) was a winner here 5 starts back when starting from gate 8 and working home best to claim a narrow victory. Runner-up at her next 2 starts as the fav on each occasion, she found the right conditions again last time when finishing best to score. Moving to the front line is an added advantage.

BONNIES CAM (7) started from gate 1 here last time out and after initially holding the front, was soon in the trail and then was never a hope when shuffled back. With an easy trip, he will be probing for openings here.

FORBIDDEN FEELNGS (3) was 1st up for the new stable last start when sitting in the pocket trail from gate 1 when finishing 5m form the winner. Beaten by a wide gate the start prior, he is a place hope.

SELECTIONS: ABBEY DIADEMA (2), FAST IS BETTOR (4), BONNIES CAM (7), FORBIDDEN FEELNGS (3)
SUGGESTED BET: ABBEY DIADEMA (2) to win

RACE TEN

VIRGIL (5) will take good benefit from his 1st up run when taking on a strong 3YO contest. Slotting in behind the speed he was holding ground to the line up the passing lane in the 1.51.1 mile claimed by ONE CHANGE. A winner 2 runs back before being sent for a spell, he can step up to the mark here.

THE HUMMER (9) was 2nd up from a spell last start when working to the breeze from gate 4. Toiling hard he was in for the fight and rallied another effort in the stretch to get within a head of victory. That was hi 1st look at this track and taking benefit from that can challenge again in this.

MISSINMEMATE (4) backs-up from victory here on Saturday night when taking out a qualifier. The start prior he was in the mix when only 5m from the winner JIVE and from this gate can feature again.

LA PLAYER (6) was well-supported last start when working home wide off the track over the 2040m trip after starting from the 2nd line. The gate stings his chances here, but his last win was enough to suggest he is in the mix.

SELECTIONS: VIRGIL (5), THE HUMMER (9), MISSINMEMATE (4), LA PLAYER (6)
SUGGESTED BET:
