RACE 1 

DOWNTOWN MANHATTAN (3) has gate speed and is racing reasonably well. If he was able to find the front he would likely prove very hard to catch. 

MAJOR MISCHIEF (5) was able to secure the right run last start. Despite this looking a trickier set up for him it looks the right type of company. 

TAKIDAH (7) was a winner two starts ago when racing away after getting the right run. This looks tougher but she can be thereabouts. 

JANG PEL (8) loomed up strongly last start and just tired late. This race looks to have slightly less depth.

RACE 2 

TROUPER JUJON (1) likely has the gate speed to lead in this race and after a tough second last start after facing the breeze looks hard to beat. 

CONVAIR HUSTLER (6) looks likely to get the right run through in this race and should be nearing peak fitness. Looks one of the main chances. 

DOOLITTLE DAZZLER (7) ran a very good second last start after facing the breeze. This doesn’t look much tougher. 

CROSSED LEGS (3) hasn’t been at her absolute best but does look to have landed in a suitable race and she can be thereabouts.

RACE 3

CALCULATED RISK (3) has been extremely impressive since joining the stable of Alex Johnson. Scored a win at this track two starts when leading all the way before a really strong effort last start at Albion park. May need to do the work but this does not look out of her reach. 

CLASSIC ARC (6) had no luck last start when making a challenge for the position outside the leader. Will need luck here but does look within his reach a race of this nature. 

MISS PAU (2) led recently at this track and scored a fairly easy victory. From a good draw this likely looks another suitable race. 

JIMMY BLING (5) is a speedy horse that could be making up strong ground late. Will need the race run to suit.

RACE 4 

SHE DAZZLES (1) has previously been used off the gate in the early stages to lead and win which looks her likely best chance in this race. Was an impressive winner last start in easier. 

BEYONSKI (6) had a very tough trip last start and tired late but was certainly entitled to. Has been racing well enough. 

MY ULTIMATE HESTON (7) has been in great form. Draws to get a good run through early. 

BUSTN FEELZ GOOD (2) draws to have options in the early stages.

SUGGESTED BET: SHE DAZZLES (1) to win. 

RACE 5

GOTTA GO TORQUE (1) has drawn to get plenty of favours. Should prove hard to beat. 

ROCCO VARIETY (2) has good gate speed and draws to get a suitable run. He is a versatile horse in this type of grade and can go about winning in a number of ways. 

THE BLUE WREN (6) should get the right run through early and has been racing without a great deal of luck. 

JILLIBY PANDA (9) is a horse with good ability and has run well previously from awkward draws. Certainly not hopeless.

RACE 6 

OUR DOLLY (1) was badly held up last start behind a tiring runner. Looks to have drawn ideally and she is a very capable front runner. 

ONE LAST ROLL (5) has gate speed and does like to get up on speed. Ran well for third last start. 

ROSEANNE RUBY (6) was a brilliant winner last start in what was likely a career best effort coming into it wide and running over the top. Draws to get a good run through. 

AUNTY FRANCES (7) looks likely to find this race significantly easier than recent starts.

RACE 7

MUCHO GUAPA (1) has good gate speed and has previously led and won. Looked to have plenty to give and nowhere to go last start. 

KEAYANG TARA (6) things didn’t play out for her in the early stages last start when doing things wrong. This looks suitable. 

TACTFILLY MIRACLE (2) just didn’t get into the clear soon enough last start when finishing second. That came off the back of a good trial. 

LULU LUCIFER (7) has been racing in consistent form. Has options in the early stages.
