RACE TWO

MISS INVASION (9) has found her rhythm and has now been in the quinella at 8 f her past 11 outings and possesses a strong record from the mobile with 13 top-3 finishes from 19 attempts. In a top piece of steering to find the pocket trail from gate 7 last start, she finished best. This is no harder.

DAY TOURER (3) worked in behind the leader after being smartly away from a 10m tape last time out and then packed too many guns up the passing lane. Only grabbed in the closing stages by MISS INVASION after leading them up 2 starts back, he has the speed to lead and will be gripping on late.

MISTER OZ (4) has gone winless for some time now yet his recent form is solid and indicates a win is not far away. Stepping to the front last start he was only collared late and has podium claims here.

EL SWAVO (5) closed out strongly here 2 starts back to grab the silver when under 2m from the in-form SCORCHED. He worked soundly well from back in the pack on Tues and can be thereabouts.

SELECTIONS: MISS INVASION (9), DAY TOURER (3), MISTER OZ (4), EL SWAVO (5)
SUGGESTED BET: MISS INVASION (9) to win

RACE THREE

TIMELESS APPEAL (8) will need some factors in her favour from the gate but following out a smart beginner should be able to land the right position. A 1st up winner for her 3YO season last start, she was never in danger once finding the front from gate 4. Fitter for the outing she has this in reach.

SIXPENNY RED (10) was probing for gaps that never really opened enough to charge through last start and she went to the line in a blanket finish only 2m from the winner. She dug in for the fight from gate 6 at Redcliffe 2 starts back and only faded late. A win is just around the corner.

RANCHO MAN (1) will be further tightened after his latest start where he was 2nd up and taking the trail from this gate. Shuffled back, he was really finding the line in good order in the closing stages.

TORQUE IS MY GIRL (4) has placed in 3 of 4 starts since returning from a spell with the latest when 2nd to TIMELESS APPEAL after racing in the trail. With early speed she can have a look and has claims.

SELECTIONS: TIMELESS APPEAL (8), SIXPENNY RED (10), RANCHO MAN (1), TORQUE IS MY GIRL (4)
SUGGESTED BET: TIMELESS APPEAL (8) to win

RACE FOUR

PARAVANI (4)
was off the 2nd line last start and settling in the running line was closing out strongly in some slick panels. The start prior he faded after doing all the work in a 1.52.8 mile set by the leader IM NORMA JEAN. With the gate advantage over his main rivals he can look to deal in front.

PINUP BOY (7) is in career best form with a top 3 in his past 7 in succession and 3 of those being victories. Highlighted by a power running display 2 starts back in a slick mile he was then too strong from the breeze last start zipping home the last 800m. The gate hurts but he can put himself in the fight.

TUESDAYS FELLA (6) faces a tricky gate here but if able to find position cheaply, the tempo should be strong enough to give him a late play. Luckless in a qualifier last start when only 4m in arrears, he can feature.

MUCH BETTOR (5) will take further benefit from his latest start when 2nd up from a break. Pressing forward from the walk-up, he found the front and held on to score over the 2138m. He is in the mix.

SELECTIONS: PARAVANI (4), PINUP BOY (7), TUESDAYS FELLA (6), MUCH BETTOR (5)
SUGGESTED BET: PARAVANI (4) to win

RACE FIVE

MAMMALS MAGIC (1) started from gate 12 last time out and sent forward in the middle stages was doing her share of work wide off the track and kept finding to get within a half-head of victory. Locked away 2 starts back she was 4m from the winner CLARRY and with the options can claim this.

GOD SAKE (8) was charging home in the closing stages last start after snagging back early from position 7 at the walk-up. Settling at the rear his closing splits were slick as he really attacked the line. As the lone 2nd line runner he has early options and with the right run can be swooping hard.

GETOUTNWALK (2) completed a Redcliffe hat-trick last start when securing the perfect trip from inside the 2nd line and arriving for the prize. She can fire the 1st shot and has podium claims in this.

RUTHLESS ARMBRO (5) claimed a 2nd division qualifier 2 starts back when leading throughout from gate 2 and then last start was a credible 4th after striking trouble and only beaten 2m. He can swoop.

SELECTIONS: MAMMALS MAGIC (1), GOD SAKE (8), GETOUTNWALK (2), RUTHLESS ARMBRO (5)
SUGGESTED BET: MAMMALS MAGIC (1) to win

RACE SIX

TEARAWAY DIAMOND (1)
makes his Qld debut for the Greg Elkins barn and will be 1st up since December. A winner at 2 of 6 outings, the latest start he was working wide off the track in a strong mile. Given a nice pipe-opener behind some handy types in a recent trial he can strike on debut.

ONLY IN ROME (10) has the tough gate to overcome but he is racing well. Not entirely suited last start he found the line well in a slick mile when mid-field behind IM NORMA JEAN 2 starts back. He might need to work at some point in the contest but with even luck he can challenge.

MORROCH BAY (7) exploded through from the 2nd line last start and looked set to find a forward spot only to be snagged all the way back and that was his day done. He might just be able to find the front here and will be gripping on.

ZENMACH (6) resumes after almost 12 months on the sidelines and was last seen when down the line behind COLT THIRTY ONE. He trialled in good order for his return and will improve on what he can achieve here.

SELECTIONS: TEARAWAY DIAMOND (1), ONLY IN ROME (10), MORROCH BAY (7), ZENMACH (6)
SUGGESTED BET: TEARAWAY DIAMOND (1) to win

RACE SEVEN

TASSINI (1) hasn’t had the best of luck in recent starts but has still managed to be close up. Locked away on the pegs in a mares qualifier last start she found the line nicely when 3m from the winner BIG IN AMERICA. This is her best gate in some time and with the advantage can look to capitalise.

BRIAN WHO (3) was after a hat-trick of victories when although officially last the run was full of merit and he wasn’t that far off the winner after doing a mountain of work. Forget his last start where he struck trouble in the run, he can settle handy here and look for the closing shot.

MACHIN OUT (2) is in consistent touch and from this gate can take an early shot and might even create space to slide in behind. 2nd to RED CHARMER 2 starts back he will be right in the fight here.

RANFURLY RULZ (10) makes a switch to the Ronny Sallis yard and arrives after taking on some handy performers at Menangle at his past 2 starts. A Newcastle winner 4 starts back he has podium hopes.

SELECTIONS: TASSINI (1), BRIAN WHO (3), MACHIN OUT (2), RANFURLY RULZ (10)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-2-3-10

RACE EIGHT

FRANCO TARIQ (9)
started from gate 7 last start and retreated early to find position before really attacking the line to be 2m from the winner OUR MELS DREAM. Not suited around the tight Inverell track from the 2nd line 2 starts back, he should get a good trip from this gate and power over the top.

MACH SAM (3) started fav in a 2nd division qualifier last time out and after settling in the 1x1 couldn’t reel in the winner SKYFELLA CAM. He comes back to claiming company after his past 3 have been in Sat night grade and can look to fire the 1st shot before the speed arrives and then offer late.

COMPLY OR DIE (6) was a noticeable drifter in the market last start when firing out from gate 5 he took control and set a slick tempo when grabbed late. That followed successive wins and with his early moves will look to take them all the way.

OUR MELS DREAM (7) angled off the pegs early last start from inside the 2nd line and with the good trip finished over the top of COMPLY OR DIE to claim a neck margin. Runner-up his previous 2 he will run his usual honest race.

SELECTIONS: FRANCO TARIQ (9), MACH SAM (3), COMPLY OR DIE (6), OUR MELS DREAM (7)
SUGGESTED BET: FRANCO TARIQ (9) to win
