RACE TWO

INNOCENT CROCKER (6) has been freshened since her last appearance when looking to take them all the way over the mile. Finding the front from gate 3 she was fighting late but couldn’t hold off the challenge of CLARRY. Only grabbed by the smart TOM ME GUN 3 starts back, she can look to cash-in.

OPONONIS BLISS (3) will strip fitter following her latest start when resuming from a 4-month break. She went into that without a trial and was gripping on when it took the talented TROJAN BANNER to wear her down in the closing stages. In the money at her past 6 starts, she will go close.

MAMMALS MAGIC (8) will need some favours in the run here but with the economical trip will be ready to take the closing shot. She hit the line hard to win at Redcliffe last start and is in the mix.

GOTTA GO JAZZY JET (12) makes her Qld debut for Kylie Rasmussen and will be after a hat-trick of victories. Trialling sharply in preparation for this, she can feature and will be worth following.

SELECTIONS: INNOCENT CROCKER (6), OPONONIS BLISS (3), MAMMALS MAGIC (8), GOTTA GO JAZZY JET (12)
SUGGESTED BET: INNOCENT CROCKER (6) to win

RACE THREE

OUR CHITTYBANGBANG (3) was shooting for the hat-trick here 2 starts back when having a shot for the front he was repelled early before taking over in a stinging 27.1 opener. That took its toll when he faded late with JUMPING JOLT taking the win. Not suited on Tues from the 2nd line, he can atone.

SALOON PASSAGE (11) makes his 1st AP appearance since joining the Cristina Monte team and has been a consistent performer in NSW for a few years now. His past 2 have been from 2nd line gates which have dented his hopes and despite the 2nd line alley here, will be in the fight.

SIR JULIAN (10) is never far away and last start covered plenty of extra territory from the stand start at Marburg. He grabbed 2nd behind WATCH PULP FICTION last start and will be charging home here.

HOT ROD HEAVEN (1) scored a big win at big odds here 2 starts back when pressing on to the front and racing clear. Last start from the pocket trail he was 3rd when 3m from FRANCO TOTEM and can go close here.

SELECTIONS: OUR CHITTYBANGBANG (3), SALOON PASSAGE (11), SIR JULIAN (10), HOT ROD HEAVEN (1)
SUGGESTED BET: OUR CHITTYBANGBANG (3) to win

RACE FOUR

TULHURST ACE (4)
steps out in Qld for the 1st time for the Cristina Monte stable and arrives following a luckless effort in the Armidale Cup when still able to grab the bronze behind OUR MAJOR DAY. His last win was in solid time at Tamworth and with even luck can make a winning start.

CLARRY (8) added another minor placing to his tally last start when working hard in the run and digging in for the fight. Rolling to the breeze from gate 6, he was fighting when only 4m from the winner GOTTA GOOD REASON. He closed out strongly 2 starts back and if sighting gaps will charge.

SKYFELLA CAM (3) made the most of finding the front here 3 starts back and from gate 5 was able to control the speed to score. Beaten by the gate 2 runs back, he was a good 2nd last start and is in the mix.

NEWMERELLA SHARKIE (1) was in for the fight at Marburg last start and facing the breeze proved too slick in a strong closing panel. From the gate he will get the cosy trip and be ready to strike.

SELECTIONS: TULHURST ACE (4), CLARRY (8), SKYFELLA CAM (3), NEWMERELLA SHARKIE (1)
SUGGESTED BET: TULHURST ACE (4) to win

RACE FIVE

JOSSIE JAMES (4) struggled to find position last start from this same gate and was snagged back to then be making good closing metres. Her run had merit 2 back when not suited from the walk-up which had followed successive 2nd placed runs. There looks some good tempo for her to sail home.

NOVENA ROSE (8) will need some factors in her favour but with the guarantee of an economical run in transit she can be probing for the gaps to take a closing shot. 2 starts back she found the line in good order when 1.5m from the winner and backing up from Wed night can hit the line hard here.

FARRAHFOWLER (1) has good early speed and from the ace can look to make full use of the opportunities. Beaten 2m 2 starts back after releasing the front, she has the options to capitalise.

TRILIGHT BRIGADE (3) pressed on to find the front from gate 2 over the 2138m here 2 starts back and held on to score in a similar mares race. Not suited last start look for her to be right in the fight.

SELECTIONS: JOSSIE JAMES (4), NOVENA ROSE (8), FARRAHFOWLER (1), TRILIGHT BRIGADE (3)
SUGGESTED BET: JOSSIE JAMES (4) to win

RACE SIX

FEELINGFORAMIRACLE (12)
will be further tightened from his latest outing when 2nd up from a break. Resuming when working home wide off the track from gate 5, his latest outing was a tidy effort when out 3-wide and hitting the line strongly at Redcliffe. He can take an open contest.

ELZBOY (8) broke his AP maiden last start at his 60th attempt. Pressing forward to find the breeze from gate 5 he was in for the fight to take a 7m victory in a career best win rate. He will be needing some luck from this alley but with the gaps arriving he can be chiming in.

SIR SEMPER FIDELIS (5) took on a 2nd division qualifier last start and from gate 11 went luck hunting along the inside. Closing out strongly in the latter stages he was beaten 4m. He can give this a shake.

BETTING BARON (4) settled a long way back in the pack at Redcliffe 2 starts back and was finding the line strongly when only beaten 1.5m. He couldn’t work into it last start and can be sharper here.

SELECTIONS: FEELINGFORAMIRACLE (12), ELZBOY (8), SIR SEMPER FIDELIS (5), BETTING BARON (4)
SUGGESTED BET: FEELINGFORAMIRACLE (12) each-way

RACE SEVEN

LINCOLN ROAD (1) bounced back to winning form here 2 starts back after some luckless runs. Sent straight to the front from gate 3 he was able to deal in front and kept the power on to record a career best 1.53.1 mile. Only beaten a neck last start after being buried in the run, he can grab hold of this.

A GOOD CHANCE (4) put the writing on the wall with a solid 2nd to LINCOLN ROAD when working hard in the run from the breeze and only 1m in arrears. He then came out last time out and went to the front from gate 2 and once in control was never in danger. He can roll the sleeves again here.

ROCK WITH SAM (3) found running line cover in the 1x1 last start from gate 4 and found the line in good order to grab the silver behind A GOOD CHANCE. Forget his previous start, he can podium.

POLISHED ROCKS (2) bounced back to winning form last start when doing it the tough way from the breeze and fighting hard to claim victory at the mile. He can get the right trip to offer late.

SELECTIONS: LINCOLN ROAD (1), A GOOD CHANCE (4), ROCK WITH SAM (3), POLISHED ROCKS (2)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-2-3-4

RACE EIGHT

IM FREE FALLING (1)
was due to go around on Wed night at Redcliffe where he looked well placed. 2 starts back he was attacking the line in good order from the 2nd line when not far from the stylish winner A GOOD CHANCE and his closing splits 3 back were sharp. From the gate he can capitalise.

COURAGEOUS LEO (11) will be further tightened from his latest outing when 2nd up from a break. Doing some work in the run when resuming from the walk-up he was then taken to Armidale where he worked in the run when sent to the breeze from the 2nd line. The gate hurts but he can feature.

IMTHE GOLDEN CHILD (6) was a winner here 5 starts back when swooping home hard after starting from gate 10. He was I for the fight last start when 3m from LINCOLN ROAD and is in the mix here.

MARK DENNIS (7) went back early from gate 6 here on Tues when finishing best in the closing stages to claim a 2138m victory. The wide gate does him no favours but he can be closing hard.

SELECTIONS: IM FREE FALLING (1), COURAGEOUS LEO (11), IMTHE GOLDEN CHILD (6), MARK DENNIS (7)
SUGGESTED BET: IM FREE FALLING (1) to win

RACE NINE

JUSTABITNOISY (1)
has been runner-up at his past 2 starts under similar conditions and will be nearing a fitness peak after 4 runs back from a spell. Finding the position 3 back along the pegs here 2 starts back he closed strongly and then last start was 1.5m away. This looks his chance to arrive.

NEEDLE (7) started from a 10m tap last time out over the 2138m and was sent forward to take control. Once dictating she was never in danger when cruising home to a comfortable 7m victory. A tough 3rd from the breeze in a track record mobile mile 2 starts back, she will be right in the fight.

QUIETLY SPOKEN (8) was the track record winner when claiming victory up the passing lane 6 starts back. A winner of a further 2 races since that including a last start swooping victory, she can go close.

EMPIRE BAY (3) had been warming up to a win and was able to claim that last start when stepping cleanly and taking control in front. He moves back 10m for this assignment but is in the mix.

SELECTIONS: JUSTABITNOISY (1), NEEDLE (7), QUIETLY SPOKEN (8), EMPIRE BAY (3)
SUGGESTED BET: JUSTABITNOISY (1) to place

RACE TEN

MANDY KRIDEN (1)
started from gate 6 last time out over the 2138m trip and worked home over the top to arrive on the line for a smart win. Luckless the start prior when looking for space, she wasn’t suited from the walk-ups here 3 back. A strong finisher off speed, look for the grey flash late.

BEAVER (3) was a winner here 4 starts back when rolling forward and doing it the tough way from the breeze to score a strong win over the mile. Runner-up in all 3 starts since, the past 2 when leading them up, he will be able to pounce on the pegs here and look to take them all the way.

WATCH PULP FICTION (5) was warming up to a victory with a pair of close 2nds when beaten a half-neck and then a nose. Making the most of mid-week company he scored a stylish 2138m victory when charging late and is right in the fight here.

SELECTIONS: MANDY KRIDEN (1), BEAVER (2), WATCH PULP FICTION (5)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE ELEVEN

PELOSI (5)
had trialled nicely in readiness for her debut run and then given plenty of time to settle in the run charged home from back in the pack to nab the subsequent Triad winner WILL THE WIZARD. She didn’t have things go her way in the Changeover Classic and here in the small field can arrive.

BRONSKI MACARENA (4) has place in both career starts, the latest when looking to take them all the way in the Triad Consolation when grabbed up the passing lane by A RAINBOW DIAMOND. Her debut run was a nice effort from the pocket trail and with the added experience is in the mix.

A RAINBOW DELIGHT (1) was eased off the gate on debut from the six-hole and coming with a late closing finish went within 1m of victory behind JIGGLE AND JIVE. With the benefit of the improved gate she stays under notice.

SELECTIONS: PELOSI (5), BRONSKI MACARENA (4), A RAINBOW DELIGHT (1)
SUGGESTED BET: PELOSI (5) to win
