RACE TWO

GOLDDIGER GIRL (4) will take great benefit from her last start where she was 1st up in over 3 years. A winner at just her 2nd career start in November 2015, she was not sighted until her run here last week. Chasing for 3rd behind the big winner REGULUS, her trials had been sharp and she can strike.

ZARAS DANCE (3) was 1st up in Qld and from a break when claiming a restricted win over the mile from the walk-up when hitting the line in good style to score. Tough from the breeze when sitting outside TUAPEKA GLORY last start and only 4m in arrears, she can throw down the challenge here.

DAPPER BESSIE (2) resumes from a spell to start her 4YO term after being shut down following a last start victory at Redcliffe. With a steady trial to prepare and the good gate she is in the mix 1st up.

ENARMOURED (1) hasn’t been far away in recent outings although hasn’t looked likely to strike. She was forced to work last start in an electric speed which took its toll. From the gate she can feature.

SELECTIONS: GOLDDIGER GIRL (4), ZARAS DANCE (3), DAPPER BESSIE (2), ENARMOURED (1)
SUGGESTED BET: GOLDDIGER GIRL (4) to win

RACE THREE

MISTER OZ (5) has been around the money in recent starts and is getting close to ending a long winless streak. He loomed large to the winning post 3 starts back when only 2m behind SCORCHED and 2 back made an error from the mobile. A safe beginner he will be in the mix early to capitalise.

MUSCULUS (6) will take benefit from his return when 1st up following an enforced lay-off. Starting fav after some handy trial hit-outs, he settled into the running line quickly before ending his chances with an error. If he can put it all together on the day, he is the one they have to beat.

MAJESTIC SIMON (8) is proving to be a real enigma after showing poor starting manners that have cost him, last start he made an error in the run after getting the start right. He has the talent.

GO AHEAD MAKEMYDAY (7) did some early work last time out after a smart start and then the closing tempo was against him. The 10m tape will suit here in the small field and he is in the mix.

SELECTIONS: MISTER OZ (5), MUSCULUS (6), MAJESTIC SIMON (8), GO AHEAD MAKEMYDAY (7)
SUGGESTED BET: MISTER OZ (5) to win

RACE FOUR

TROJAN BANNER (6)
remains undefeated after 4 starts in Aus and displayed some strength last start after showing his speed in the 3 previous wins. Working home wide off the track he packed too many guns with a strong win. A winner via the passing lane 2 starts back his class can see him home.

NEWPORT DREAMZ (2) wasn’t suited from gate 7 last start when snagged back early to find position and just found himself too far back. Forced to work in the breeze over a sharp mile here 2 starts back, the effort took it toll. Despite the 2138m not being his best trip, he can be 1st to the pegs.

IM NORMA JEAN (8) has been freshened since her last appearance and will need a slice of luck in transit. Looking to take them all the way over this trip, she was grabbed late. She will be probing.

SUR LE FEU (7) has the tough gate to negotiate yet should find this slightly easier than his latest outing in a qualifier. Charging home to get within a neck of victory he can work into the money here.

SELECTIONS: TROJAN BANNER (6), NEWPORT DREAMZ (2), IM NORMA JEAN (8), SUR LE FEU (7)
SUGGESTED BET: TROJAN BANNER (6) to win

RACE FIVE

SPIRIT WALKER (8) is in great form and last start was working hard in the run when facing the breeze from gate 7 under the mobile conditions. In for the fight she went within a half-neck of the prize. That followed a huge run at Bathurst over the 2790m trip and this looks within reach.

PATSDELIGHT (5) shoots for the hat-trick after wins at the 2138m and then this trip last start. Coming off a 20m mark she was quickly into stride and soon in front where she dictated and ripped home a smart closing 800m. This is her biggest test to date.

JEDDY R YA READY (4) started from a 40m tape last start when sent out as fav. Working into the race he found the line in good order to grab the silver. That followed a passing lane win and the front line is a big plus here.

MATATOKI (2) has some ordinary numbers next to his name but he will relish the conditions here with a front-line gate against this line-up. Normally a safe beginner, he will be close to the action.

SELECTIONS: SPIRIT WALKER (8), PATSDELIGHT (5), JEDDY R YA READY (4), MATATOKI (2)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE SIX

COLT THIRTY ONE (6)
makes a rare Tues appearance and the reigning Qld Horse of the Year will strip fitter from his return to the track. Rolling forward from the 2nd line he found the breeze and was too strong without being asked for too much. He will need to earn from this gate, but can take the step.
MACH ALERT (4) was able to handle COLT THIRTY ONE when they last met back in January by taking full advantage of a better gate to dictate over the mile. He lands the better gat of the pair again and can look to spear across and have them chasing. Freshened since his last start 3rd, he is the danger.

OHOKA PUNTER (7) resumes from a break after starting fav last time out when 3m from LILAC FLASH. Placed in his past 4 in succession, he hasn’t been far away and can podium here.

SIR JULIAN (2) started from the 2nd line last start and was closing out nicely when 6m from the winner OUR CHITTYBANGBANG. Never far away he can settle handy here and be making a late play.

SELECTIONS: COLT THIRTY ONE (6), MACH ALERT (4), OHOKA PUNTER (7), SIR JULIAN (2)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE SEVEN

CLARRY (5) was a 1st up winner in Qld here 5 starts back when handing over from gate 1 and then finishing best to score. Placed in all 4 starts since that outing, the latest came when charging home from inside the 2nd line in a qualifier on Sat night. He can find early position and look to swoop late.

PACIFIC DRUMS (3) made an early error last start and although able to re-set, it may have just taken the edge off him. Setting a solid tempo over the 2138m trip he looked to stretch the chasers with a 27.5 3rd panel but was grabbed right on the line. If the lead comes cheaply, he will be hard to catch.

MACHIN OUT (1) kicked through to keep them out from this gate last start and despite the lead costing a 26.8 opener, he was still able to fight them off to score. He is racing well and is in this.

SPEEDIE MCARDLE (8) should secure the prefect trip from this alley and will be coiled and ready to make a late challenge. Placed in 3 of his past 4 starts, he was 2nd to TOM ME GUN last time and will be probing here.

SELECTIONS: CLARRY (5), PACIFIC DRUMS (3), MACHIN OUT (1), SPEEDIE MCARDLE (8)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-3-5-8

RACE EIGHT

TENNYSON BROMAC (10)
will take great benefit from his 1st up run here last week when charging home to get within a half-head of the winner. A 1st up winner in Qld 4 starts back, he has placed in all 3 subsequent runs with 2 of those when forced to work. Afforded no favours from this gate he can still prove too sharp.

PINUP BOY (12) is in great touch and has now been in the money at his past 9 in succession, with 3 of those being victories. Last start he looked to take them all the way in the 4YO Triad Final and he was game when only COLT THIRTY ONE got past him. With the right cart home, he can feature.

CARDLESFROMHEAVEN (11) loomed up like a winner last start after working in the run but had to settle for 3rd. All the power looks off the 2nd line here and with the right trip he can be closing late.

IMA BIRUBI BOY (3) found the pegs from gate 4 last start and after setting a solid tempo was claimed in the stretch. Placed at his previous 2 starts, he can settle handy here and be gripping on.

SELECTIONS: TENNYSON BROMAC (10), PINUP BOY (12), CARDLESFROMHEAVEN (11), IMA BIRUBI BOY (3)
SUGGESTED BET: TENNYSON BROMAC (10) to win

RACE NINE

THE SHADY ONE (9)
struck trouble in the run here 3 starts back which ended his chances. He then went to Marburg for a stand-start series where his heat run was a top effort to claim the prize when threading a passage and attacking the line to score. 2nd in the final on Sunday, he can swoop late here.

THE IDES OF MARCH (7) rolled forward to the breeze from this same gate over the 2138m trip last start and wilted late. His run 2 starts back was a tidy effort when charging home from back in the pack after looking for cheap runs and if able to ease the early burn can be chiming in late.

PARISIAN ROCKSTAR (4) burned hard to find the front here 2 starts back and tried to take them all the way over the 2138m trip when holding on for 3rd. Not suited on Sat night, he can give some cheek if finding the pegs.

MAKOA (8) hit the line in good order last start despite finishing with a duck-egg. His run 2 starts back was a sharp effort behind FRANCO TOTEM and with a cheap run can be probing for openings here.

SELECTIONS: THE SHADY ONE (9), THE IDES OF MARCH (7), PARISIAN ROCKSTAR (4), MAKOA (8)
SUGGESTED BET: THE SHADY ONE (9) to win

RACE TEN

ZARAS ALL GOOD (3)
rolled forward to face the breeze from gate 6 last start and fought on when not too far away from the leader and winner IM NO OUTLAW. Runner-up in her previous 2 starts including a neck 2nd from the walk-ups when racing in the trail, she can break her maiden tag here.

COMMODORE JUJON (6) returned to start his 3YO term in style with an all the way win at Redcliffe over the 1780m trip. 2nd up in the 3YO Triad Consolation, he did some early work in getting forward from the 2nd line when finishing a 1.5m 2nd. Despite the tough gate he will be right in the fight.

FEEL LIKE DANCIN (9) was sent forward from gate 12 last start and finding the breeze was in for the fight when grabbed on the line by MISS MONEYBAGS. With the right early trail, she can feature.

CHANCELESS CENTURY (4) lined up against the smart REGULUS at his debut and finding the running line was able to hold on for 3rd behind the clear-out winner. With the experience from that run he is in the mix here.

SELECTIONS: ZARAS ALL GOOD (3), COMMODORE JUJON (6), FEEL LIKE DANCIN (9), CHANCELESS CENTURY (4)
SUGGESTED BET: ZARAS ALL GOOD (3) to win
