RACE TWO

GOLDDIGER GIRL (7) will take great benefit from her latest outing when 2nd up from a long stint on the sidelines. Chasing to be best of the rest behind REGULUS when 1st up, she looked to take them all the way over the 2138m trip last time when grabbed late. The gate hurts but she can go one-better.

COMMODORE JUJON (6) was tough from the breeze last start when rolling forward from this same gate and in a strong closing 800m panel he was in for the fight when under 5m from the winner. A close 2nd in the Triad consolation when 2nd up from a break, he can ask some questions here.

ALI DOWNUNDER (4) had a gear issue that ended his chances on Fri and saw him retired from the race. The start prior he took them all the way in smart style over the 2138m and is a big threat here.

DATITIUDE (3) has a handy record and last start at Redcliffe was a smart winner when applying all the heat in the run and coming away to score a strong win. If bringing that form, this is within reach.

SELECTIONS: GOLDDIGER GIRL (7), COMMODORE JUJON (6), ALI DOWNUNDER (4), DATITIUDE (3)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 3-4-6-7

RACE THREE

SPIRIT WALKER (4)
has been runner-up at her past 3 starts now with the latest effort a strong performance when beaten a neck behind PATSDELIGHT. Giving that mare 10m last time they met and only beaten a half-neck, she faces the same differential here and will be fighting hard again.

SCORCHED (6) sat back in the pack last start and was hitting the line in good order to be 8m from the winner. The start prior under mobile conditions, he was only 5m away and he will be charging home.

REDRIVERDEBBA (5) took on the mobile FFA on Sta night and from gate 1 soon found herself buried away and facing a forlorn task. Forget her run 2 back when striking trouble, she can bounce back.

SELECTIONS: SPIRIT WALKER (4), SCORCHED (6), REDRIVERDEBBA (5)
SUGGESTED BET: SPIRIT WALKER (4), to win

RACE FOUR

IM THE COMMANDO (4)
is a 4YO making his Aus debut for the Grant Dixon barn and arrives with the smart figures of 1 win and 3 2nds in 6 appearances.  A last start winner over 2400m from the tapes at Wyndham, he trialled here in good order and can make his 1st outing a winning one.

GARLAND GREENE (5) has found his rhythm and looks to land a hat-trick and gets in here nicely from the 10m after winning from that tape on Fri. Settling back in the pack he packed too many guns in the closing stages to arrive for a smart win. That followed a tough maiden breaking win and he is right in the fight.

MAJESTIC SIMON (7) finally put it all together last start and was able to wear down the leaders to claim a half-head win right on the wire. Building on that he can look to cash-in again here.

SELECTIONS: IM THE COMMANDO (4), GARLAND GREENE (5), MAJESTIC SIMON (7),

SUGGESTED BET: IM THE COMMANDO (4) to win

RACE FIVE

PACIFIC DRUMS (2) bounced back to winning form last start when pouncing on the lead from gate 3 and dictating terms in scoring a career best 1.53 mile rate. His all the way win over this trip 4 starts back was a power running display and with the speed to lead will look to take them all the way.

MAKOA (1) was locked away against the markers last start from inside the 2nd line and attacked the line in good order in the closing stages when beaten 4m behind THE SHADY ONE. From the gate he will get the perfect trip and will be coiled and ready to take the snipers shot.

BUNDABURRA (5) will take further benefit from his latest outing when 2nd up from a break. Closing out strongly for 2nd when resuming, he was too far back against the tempo last start. The small field suits.

SELECTIONS: PACIFIC DRUMS (2), MAKOA (1), BUNDABURRA (5)
SUGGESTED BET: PACIFIC DRUMS (2) to win

RACE SIX

PINUP BOY (1)
is one of the form pacers in the state and last start displayed some versatility in scoring his 1st win from back in the pack. Starting from gate 12 he had too many bullets to fire late and arrived for a 2m victory. Brave when 2nd to COLT THIRTY ONE the start prior, he can dictate here.

HEZ ALL COURAGE (6) sprinted sharply to arrive for the prize here 2 starts back over the 2138m trip, running some strong closing panels. His closing was again powerful last start when he charged home from a long way back to grab the silver behind PACIFIC DRUMS and will be swooping hard here.

TUESDAYS FELLA (2) was a passing lane winner here 3 starts back when sprinting home sharply to land a career best win rate. Not suited at the 2138m at his next 2, back to the mile and a soft trip is ideal here.

CLARRY (7) is yet to miss a place since arriving in Qld and last start was finding the line in good order behind PACIFIC DRUMS to grab 3rd. The gate hurts but he is going well enough to feature here.

SELECTIONS: PINUP BOY (1), HEZ ALL COURAGE (6), TUESDAYS FELLA (2), CLARRY (7)
SUGGESTED BET: PINUP BOY (1) to win

RACE SEVEN

MACH ALERT (6) was happy to release the front to COLT THIRTY ONE last week over the 2138m trip and from the trail chased home for the silver, finishing 5m in arrears. He chased gamely for 3rd in a 26.7 closer set at the front the start prior and with his electric gate speed can look to fire the 1st shot and dictate.

WITHALOTOFLUCK (1) will take benefit from his latest start when resuming from a break. Snagged back from gate 7 he was making some good closing metres to be 12m from the winner despite the result returning a duck-egg. With the perfect trip he can look to fire the closing shot.

OUR HI JINX (8) returns from a break and from this alley will need a slice of luck in transit. Last seen when closing out strongly for 3rd to CLINTAL DO, the soft trip at his return suits.

COLD IDEAL (4) ran a tidy race last start when 4th to COLT THIRTY ONE and the start prior he did his share of early work when fading late. Limiting the early burn, he can find position and chime in late.

SELECTIONS: MACH ALERT (6), WITHALOTOFLUCK (1), OUR HI JINX (8), COLD IDEAL (4)
SUGGESTED BET: MACH ALERT (6) to win

RACE EIGHT

TENNYSON BROMAC (3)
is yet to miss a placing in 5 starts on the track and will line up from the front line for just the 2nd time in those 5 outings. 2nd up from a break last start from gate 10, he was forced to lead the 3-wide train and was grabbed late by PINUP BOY. Only beaten a half-head when 1st up, this looks his chance.

SUR LE FEU (10) has caught the eye at his past 2 starts with the latest from gate 7 when snagged back early and then working home strongly wide off the track behind the smart TROJAN BANER. He took on a qualifier the start prior and hit the line hard when beaten a neck and is nearing success.

TWITTER BROMAC (1) made the most of gate 1 last start to take them all the way in a mares qualifier last start when 2nd up after a 12 month break. With added fitness and options over the longer trip, she can feature.

AQUA MISS (5) started in red figures last start in the 4YO Mares Triad Final but was forced to do it the tough way from the breeze and beaten 8m. She might need to work again here.

SELECTIONS: TENNYSON BROMAC (3), SUR LE FEU (10), TWITTER BROMAC (1), AQUA MISS (5)
SUGGESTED BET: TENNYSON BROMAC (3) to win
