Race TWO

Miraclesdohappen (1) will be further tightened from her latest outing when 2nd up from a break. Sent to the front from gate 5 and setting an even tempo, she was grabbed up the passing lane. An all the way winner 1st up she will look to fight them off.

Sonny Orlando (7) does his best work when able to secure a peg run and then have the closing shot. From inside the 2nd line and following a smart beginner he will get every chance to grab the win up the passing lane. Finding the line nicely from gate 6 last time, this looks ideal.

Janies Got a gun (6) has the tricky gate to overcome but should find this a shade easier than recent outings. Beaten as the fav last start, she was only 6m from OUR CHITTYBANGBANG 2 starts back.

Betting Baron (3) has been freshened since his last appearance when working home strongly from back in the pack and finishing 2nd to RUTHLESS ARMBRO. He is in the mix.

SELECTIONS: Miraclesdohappen (1), Sonny Orlando (7), Janies Got a gun (6), Betting Baron (3)

SUGGESTED BET:  Exotics 1-3-6-7

Race THREE

Topnotch Mach (9) will be needing to work at some stage in the contest but he looks to have a class edge here. Settling back in the pack last start he was charging home to get within a flared nostril of the winner over the AP mile. Placed in 3 of 5 here on the triangle he can arrive.

Goodtime stride (2) powered home to a strong win here 2 starts back from gate 5 when wide off the track and then scoring by 8m. Locked away against the pegs last start, she can have a look for the lead here and can be gripping on in the closing stages.

Unassuming Champ (10) is in good touch and last start from gate 10 was sent to the front and once in control scored a stylish victory. That followed a narrow 2nd and he will be right in the fight here.

Projectile (4) has been in the money at 3 of his past 5 starts the latest when working hard in the breeze. Forget his run 2 back when striking trouble, he won’t be far away here.

SELECTIONS: Topnotch Mach (9), Goodtime stride (2), Unassuming Champ (10),

Projectile (4)

SUGGESTED BET: Topnotch Mach (9) to win

Race FOUR

Ritchie Bee (3) was sent forward to the breeze from the 2nd line last start over the 1780m trip and was in for the fight when only 4m from the winner. His only decent gate in recent starts he made an error early and with the improved gate and better manners will get his chance.

Gigantic Jasper (8) will be needing some luck in transit here but if able to find early position can be looking to power home late. Settling back in the pack from gate 3 last start he found the line in good order and can feature in this line-up.

Bettor Watch Him (6) has the tough gate to negotiate but has been in good touch with placings his past 2. He worked home well for the bronze last start and this is no harder.

Wavedancer (9) started in red figures last time out and after being sent to the breeze faded out. His run 3 starts back was a solid effort and forgiven for the last run can atone.

SELECTIONS: Ritchie Bee (3), Gigantic Jasper (8), Bettor Watch Him (6), Wavedancer (9)

SUGGESTED BET: Ritchie Bee (3) to win

Race FIVE

Spondooley (3) started from gate 4 last start and after finding the 1x1 was probing for some gaps when running home late to grab the bronze. He found the line strongly 2 starts back from gate 10 and might just have an early look here to find position. This looks his chance.

Megidoo (5) made the most of his opportunity last start and sent straight to the front from gate 1 was able to control the speed and rip home a slick closing 800m to score. That followed 2nd line draws his previous 2 starts and pressing forward can look to go back-to-back.

Swaffham Water (1) should be able to secure a soft trip in transit here and be ready to strike when the gaps arrive. Meeting a stronger line-up last start the effort was sound and she has place hopes.

Nikalong henry (10) has been in the money at 3 of his past 4 starts with the latest a strong effort when sent forward early. Settling back off the pace here, look for him swooping

SELECTIONS: Spondooley (3), Megidoo (5), Swaffham Water (1), Nikalong henry (10)

SUGGESTED BET: Spondooley (3) to win

Race SIX

Point Oh Five (8) started from gate 5 last time out over the sprint trip and rolled forward early before receiving running line cover. In a slick last 800m, those chasing were facing a task and he battled on well. He hit the line strongly 2 starts back and with some early tempo can arrive.

Rocknroll Classic (4) looked to have found his race last start and sent out at a short quote couldn’t reel in the leader and winner after being forced to park. His run 2 starts back was a solid effort and with the likelihood he may be forced to work again will be fighting.

Impressive Diamond (3) took on a restricted 3YO event last start and after settling in the running line found the line in good order to score. This is harder but with the right run can chime in.

Roll ona Rainbow (2) was locked away on the pegs last start from inside the 2nd line and found the line in good order. Only beaten 3.5m in a blanket finish 2 starts back he can give some cheek in front.

SELECTIONS: Point Oh Five (8), Rocknroll Classic (4), Impressive Diamond (3), Roll ona Rainbow (2)

SUGGESTED BET: Point Oh Five (8) to win

Race 7

Studleigh Stride (8) was forced to work in the run when cutting the breeze from the 1660m walk-up at his Qld debut last start. In for the fight after starting from position 6 he was only 1m from the winner. With even luck in transit he can press through and cash-in.

Majoress Jujon (6) worked in the breeze last start and faded out under the work but subsequently had an issue that contributed to the showing. Leading throughout to score here 4 starts back, she can find early position and is a podium chance in this line-up.

Rainbow Atomic (2) had a shot for the front that was unsuccessful and then had to work in the run last start. With the speed to find the pegs, he can give some cheek out in front.

Onya Doug (7) found his race last start and from gate 1 was able to lead them u and hold on for an easy win when only having to sprint the last 200m. The gate makes it tricky but he has some claims.

SELECTIONS: Studleigh Stride (8), Majoress Jujon (6), Rainbow Atomic (2), Onya Doug (7)

SUGGESTED BET: Studleigh Stride (8) to win

Race 8

Whata Stride (8) is still searching for that elusive maiden breaking victory and she might just have found the race to score it here. Last start from gate 2 she was just shuffled back further than ideal while 2 starts back she found the line nicely. This is wide-open and 42 might be winning start number.

Call Me Trish (6) is honing in on her 1st victory after being runner-up at her past 2 from just the 8 career starts. Snagging back from gate 6 she made a slick move and loomed up when finishing 4m from the dictating winner ONYA DOUG. Look for her taking the last shot.

Zaras Beauty (7) makes her Qld debut for Jack Butler and will be 1st up since September. Not asked for much when down the line in a recent trial she will need some luck here.

Montana Banana (4) was fair on debut when doing some work in the run wide off the track from gate 5. Leading them up last start she faded out but with the experience can be sharper here.

SELECTIONS: Whata Stride (8), Call Me Trish (6), Zaras Beauty (7), Montana Banana (4)

SUGGESTED BET:

Race 9

Greg the Great (5) was sent forward from the 30m tape last start and facing the breeze was in for the fight over the AP 2138m trip when finishing 3m from the winner DAY TOURER. Forget his previous start when making an error in the run, he looks set to take this.

Go Ahead Makemyday (7) is racing in great touch and was closing out strongly last start after being locked away. Hitting the line in good order he was best of the chasers behind the smart PATSDELIGHT. A winner under similar conditions 3 back, he can challenge.

Soh Twisted (1) was cleanly away last start and chased home well for the bronze behind PATSDELIGHT. Placed in 2 of her 3 appearances here at the triangle she is in the mix again.

My Precious Yankee (4) was locked away from a 10m tape 2 starts back and closed out nicely when 5m from the winner. Forced to race tough last start he won’t be too far away.

SELECTIONS: Greg the Great (5), Go Ahead Makemyday (7), Soh Twisted (1), My Precious Yankee (4)

SUGGESTED BET: Greg the Great (5) to win
