RACE TWO

STUDLEIGH WILL (2) was sent to the breeze last start from a 2^nd line gate and the effort took its toll when fading to trail in the field. He can build the momentum here and look to get to the pegs, a position that he can control the tempo and with minimal pressure drawn wider, can dictate to victory.

RAFFERTY DELIGHTS (4) is best served when saved for a closing shot and if able to position cheaply will be out and after them in the stretch. It didn’t work out for him last start, while 2 starts back he was using inside runs when within 3m of the winner MACHIN OUT. He can swoop late in this.

ROWDYS ACE (7) used the passing lane last start to follow inside runs when holding on for the silver behind DATITUDE. He looks set to be buried away, but with the right run can be slicing through late.

MISS CATALINA (3) found the position behind the leader at Marburg last start and with no passing lane, went to the line un-tested. Settling close-up here, she has podium claims against this field.

RACE THREE

PURE CHARISMA (5) will take benefit from her latest offering when returning from a freshen. Eased back to find position from this same gate, she was hitting the line in good order to be 5m from the winner. That followed a down the line effort behind B MAC C and with the right trip, this is within reach.

ALI DOWNUNDER (1) made his return for the season in a Trot Rods heat when sent to the post a red figure fav. Unable to see it out, he tailed them in. Sharper last start from the tapes in a Goldstrike heat at Marburg when holding on for the bronze, the added fitness and the good gate can see him challenge.

IMPRESSIVE DIAMOND (8) had put the writing on the wall with 4 successive placings. Franking that with a nice win against her own sex here last start when sent to the front, she has podium claims again here.
 
AMAYA BECOMES (2) was buried in the run here 2 starts back when chasing in vain behind the good winner ARBIT MAJOR. Running into the star PELOSI last start, she will be better suited in this.

RACE FOUR

MAYWYNS JEWEL (7) will be relying on some factors to fall in her favour, but if that can eventuate, she looks set to take the closing shot. Charging home from back in the pack to arrive for a nice win over this trip 2 starts back, she was 5m in arrears from this gate last start. Sweating on the 1 holding the front, she will be ready to snipe.

TELL THE FUTURE (1) struck trouble last start and had her chances ended not long after release. Looking to lead the start prior when holding them out initially, she held on for the bronze behind the big winner MAFFIOSO GIRL. Setting the tempo in this line-up, she will be gripping on.

BUKTHSYSTEM (3) has placed at his past 2 starts, the latest when hitting the line in nice order after settling in the 1x1 trail. Early position will be key to his chances and if settling close, he can feature.

GHOST GUM (4) looked set to hold on for an all the way win at Marburg last start, but somehow left a sneaky passage for TARGARYEN HANONVER to squeeze through to nab the win. Places his previous 2 starts, he can be thereabouts again here.

VENUS JUJON (6) isn’t afforded many favours from this gate, yet with the 3YO filly might just have enough class to see her overcome the challenge. Fitter following 1 run back from a spell, this is easier than her return when down the line behind THE DOORMAN. Arriving for victory in smart time 2 starts back, she just needs a slice of luck to claim the prize.

CHROMOZONE (1) was shooting for a hat-trick of wins last start when making a mess of things from the tapes in the stand-start Goldstrike heats at Marburg. A winner when taking them all the way over this trip 2 starts back, it followed a win at the 1780m trip. She will be gripping on in the stretch.

BEEF CITY STARZZZ (2) has won is past 3 in succession and from the gate looms as a big player in this contest. Arriving to claim a Trot Rods heat last start, it followed a tough win from the breeze over this trip. He is right in the fight.

TICK OF THE CLOCK (7) was set a tough task over the AP mile 2 starts back and after an electric opening panel and a further look for the front, faded out. Making an error at the stand start last time, he can get a cosy trip here to offer late.

RACE SIX

Heat 5 of the Trot Rods and the time to beat of 65.7 might just be in danger here if ARTFUL JINKS (1) can hustle through and then roll them along. Yet to win in Qld, he had no luck here last start when unable to find position when sent forward from the 2^nd line and forced to retreat. Landing some tricky barriers in recent starts, he can look to capitalise on the ace and keep them chasing.

JACKS GAMBIT (2) was back in the pack from gate 10 here last start and didn’t really work into it when 12m in arrears of the winner, which followed a wide trip from gate 5. With the opportunity to dart straight down to the pegs, he can secure an easy trip and be ready to offer a closing shot.

COMIGAL (6) has a good strike-rate here at Redcliffe with a top-3 in 61% of her 41 outings at the Peninsula Paceway. Taking on a strong mares event last start over the AP mile; she was hitting the line in nice style after retreating from gate 4. Not beaten far in recent starts, this is within reach.

RACE SEVEN

SIRIUS VICKI (5) will be having her 1^st race start here at Redcliffe and comes into the contest fresh following a last start 2^nd when beaten a neck. Buried in the run on that occasion over the AP mile, she was attacking the line strongly in the closing stages. With some good tempo, she can arrive.

A RAINBOW DIAMOND (4) will strip fitter following her return to the track last start when using the passing lane to grab the silver. Locked away 3 back in the run from inside the 2^nd line, she was closing in nice style. Winning here 2 starts back when 1^st up for her 3YO term, she looms large here.

NON PASSARE (6) faded out last start after being sent to park outside the leader and under the tough trip tailed off. Sent for a freshen, he can be sharper in this line-up and can feature.

GIGANTIC JASPER (2) has good speed off the arm and from this alley can look to fire the 1^st shot. Not suited last start when easing form gate 5, he placed his previous 2 starts and has podium claims.

Stepping out at Redcliffe for the 1^st time, he can secure the right trail in the early stages and looks to get a chance.

BRONSKI MACARENA (2) has placed her past 4 in succession, the latest when releasing the front and then finishing 2m from the winner IMPRESSIVE DIAMOND. Starting fav here 2 starts back, she led them up when nabbed on the wire. Placed in 4 of 8 here on the triangle, she can place again.

GLENEAGLE WARRIOR (3) had his chances ended prematurely last start when put out of business. Only 2m from SHAZAM SHANNON here 3 starts back to grab the bronze, he is in the mix here.

SIR JUJON (7) will take benefit from his latest outing when resuming from a freshen. An AP winner 3 starts back, he closed strongly last start for 3^rd to TRUE STEPPER and just needs a rub of the green to take this.
