RACE TWO

MISSTREPO (7) started from outside the second line here two starts back at her only look at this track and was wide trying to issue a closing raid but could not get into the contest. Bouncing back with a Redcliffe win last start, she will have second line options to take advantage of in this.

HEY MISTER TAYLOR (3) tried to find early position from gate 5 at Redcliffe last start but was forced to retreat with a midfield finish a sound effort considering the circumstances. Luckless here two starts back, he can be closer to the action from this alley to issue a challenge.

RACE THREE

This race is a heat of a series with the final to be held at Redcliffe and after a strong last start victory at Albion Park, TEARAWAY DIAMOND (7) can look for a repeat performance. SUGGESTED BET: TEARAWAY DIAMOND (7) to win

RACE FOUR

CAPTAIN SHUFFLES (6)
could not have been any more impressive with his first up win here last time out when making his first appearance as a 3YO. Sent straight to the front, he was clinical in claiming an 18m margin in smart time. The gate is a real dampener, but his class can shine.

REGINA ELENA (1) was hemmed away last start at Marburg but found the space to get out of the pack and make a late challenge to get within 2m of the winner. Not suited from outside the front line here two starts back, she has the gate to make a challenge.

RACE FIVE

TEACHERS PET (6) will be needing a slice of luck at some stage from this alley as she searches for the gaps to find a way clear. Completing a hat-trick of wins last start, driver Nathan Dawson is undefeated aboard the mare with a perfect 5 from 5 record. He can look to fill the six-pack.

DARBY BRIGHTS (7) began well from the tapes in a Goldstrike heat here on Sunday but just couldn’t quite get across and then had to roll the sleeves for the heavy lifting. In great touch, she can feature.

CHASIN DREAMZ (3) had the hustle to be first to the pegs last start before releasing and from the pocket trail then had the closing power to arrive. From the alley she is a podium chance.

MONTEREY JACK (7) never has much luck with barriers and faces another tricky gate here after his last start at Redcliffe from the second line where he was not too far from the winner RAANI. Not suited over the 2200m here two starts back, with the right trip, he can look to make a closing play.
