RACE TWO

ROCKSLIDE (1) started from outside the second line last start when angled to the pegs to look for short-cuts when finishing 7m from the winner ROLAMAX. Buried and facing an impossible task against the tempo as DANGERZONE scored two back, he has the options to cash-in.

OYSTER STRIDE (2) was wide off the track leading up the three-wide train here two starts back and was game in grabbing the silver. A beaten favourite last start in a wide-open contest, he has the hustle to look for the poles and from the front can throw down the challenge.

LANOCH BOY (3) is hitting some nice areas with a 2nd placing when beaten a neck sandwiched between a pair of wins. Too slick in front at Marburg last start, he can feature again here.

CATCH PHRASE (7) has hit the board in 6 of her 8 appearances on this deck, which includes a trio of victories. Working triple time when parked last start, she was only beaten a neck but missed a minor.

SELECTIONS: ROCKSLIDE (1), OYSTER STRIDE (2), LANOCH BOY (3), CATCH PHRASE (7)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-2-3-7

RACE THREE

SOMEGIRLSOMEWHERE (4)
pressed on to take the front off SHE OWNS THE DAY here two starts back and once in control was able to see it out. Inside the second line beat her last start when buried away and not finding the space to offer. The chance to press forward is in her favour here.

SHE OWNS THE DAY (1) started favourite from this gate three starts back when opting for the trail but was unable to finish in the money. Buried last start when chasing to be within 5m of the winner PEBBLE SANDS, the outside gate dented her chances last start at Marburg. The options appeal.

BONNIES A ROCKIN (8) has hit the board at her past five in succession which includes a pair of wins, with both victories when setting the speed in front. That position does not look available here, but she hit the line in nice order here two starts back when 3rd and she can make a challenge again.

MULLUM GUIDO (7) has had two runs back from a spell and landed wide gates on each occasion. With the chance of a cosy trip in behind the speed, she looms as a place player.

SELECTIONS: SHE OWNS THE DAY (1), BONNIES A ROCKIN (8), SOMEGIRLSOMEWHERE (4), MULLUM GUIDO (7)
SUGGESTED BET: SOMEGIRLSOMEWHERE (4), to win

RACE FOUR

FAIREACHDAINN (2)
has hit some nice form and steps put here searching for a hat-trick of victories. Buried in the run last start from inside the second line, she owned the best closing power to claim a smart win. With the early speed to find a handy spot, she can claim the threepeat.

REDUCED TO ASHES (1) resumes from a spell without the benefit of a public hit out but importantly lands a good marble for his return. Plagued by bad gates last campaign, he placed in 6 of his last 7 starts with 6 of those starts when drawn gate 5 or wider. With all the options he can challenge fresh.

SIGNOR JUJON (3) started from inside the second line last start and was soon buried in the run when chasing home for the bronze behind ROYAL PRINCESS. In this line up he can make a play.

KAY NORA SHANNON (8) has two wins in her past three starts, the latest when working home wide from a second line gate at Marburg. With the right cart into the contest, she has claims once again.

SELECTIONS: FAIREACHDAINN (2), REDUCED TO ASHES (1), SIGNOR JUJON (3), KAY NORA SHANNON (8)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE FIVE

JELIGNITE JACK (2) has bumped into some handy ones from tough gates in recent starts and should really benefit from the chance to look at taking control. His only win came when able to lead and with his only two starts on this deck from wider gates, this profiles favourably.

PORTSEA PRINCE (7) will take further benefit from his latest appearance when second up from a long break. Eased from gate 6 to find position last start, he was picking a few metres off in the closing stages as GOING GREAT GUNS arrived. He will be probing to make a challenge.

BEJIGGITY (6) looked to be tracking into the race ideally here two starts back but missed the money when finishing 4m from the winner COPY WRITER. The wide gate stings but she can chime in.

JEREMES GOTTA GO (8) used the passing lane last start after finding the pocket trail from gate 2 and was able to share the victory with a dead heat result. Fitter after three runs back, she has claims.

SELECTIONS: JELIGNITE JACK (2), PORTSEA PRINCE (7), BEJIGGITY (6), JEREMES GOTTA GO (8)
SUGGESTED BET: JELIGNITE JACK (2) to win

RACE SIX

JOHNROD (5)
comes up with the sticky alley but finds the right type of opposition to get across and stake his claim for victory. Sent to sit parked last start from the second line, he was grafting it out when finishing a head shy of MANY DELIGHTS. He can turn the tables.

MANY DELIGHTS (6) is in top touch, claiming two wins in his past three starts. Finding the front from gate 3 last time, once in control he was able to hold on to claim victory. Despite the outside paint, he is going well enough to again throw down the challenge.

PATCHWORK JET (8) took the trail from gate 1 last start and from the trail was able to hold on for the bronze behind MANY DELIGHTS. With the right trail, he can fill the same trifecta.

ONE HELAVA PARTY (9) eased from gate 4 last start to settle back in the running line and was picking up some late metres to grab 4th. There is a chance it is the same first 4 runners home again.

SELECTIONS: JOHNROD (5), MANY DELIGHTS (6), PATCHWORK JET (8), ONE HELAVA PARTY (9)
SUGGESTED BET: JOHNROD (5) to win

RACE SEVEN

DARBY BRIGHTS (1)
faced a second line draw at Marburg last time out and could not get into the contest as SCHOOBY claimed the prize. Hustling off the tapes in a Goldstrike heat the start prior but unable to cross and forced to work, the effort was full of merit. With the cosy trip she can strike.

BE ON THE SLY (6) lines up in search of a hat-trick of wins after successive 1780m victories here at The Triangle. Finishing best from the 1x1 trail last start, it followed a tough effort when parked after moving around them in the early stages. The gate dents the chances of the threepeat.

ROCCO VARIETY (2) has been slammed with wide gates at his past three starts which had followed three successive placings. Still grabbing 3rd last start, he has the early hustle and will be gripping on.

LEFT IN THE WIND (7) found her race here two starts back when finding the front from gate 5 and able to take them all the way. Needing some luck from this alley, she will be probing.

SELECTIONS: DARBY BRIGHTS (1), BE ON THE SLY (6), ROCCO VARIETY (2), LEFT IN THE WIND (7)
SUGGESTED BET: DARBY BRIGHTS (1) to win

RACE EIGHT

DATSINAHURRI (9)
was sent out as the favourite last start from gate 8 and after settling in the running line could only manage a midfield return behind MANY DELIGHTS. Grinding it out when sent to sit parked from this same gate and proving too tough two run back, she can repeat that here.

SCHOOBY (7) has claimed two wins in his past three starts, the latest when finishing best to claim the prize at Marburg. With a retake manoeuvre here three starts back to then see it out, he can gain an economical passage and be ready to strike.

PRIVATE JUJON (8) was buried form inside the second line last time out and was unable to get into the contest. A winner here five starts back, with the right trip he can again feature.

THE CROM (4) eased from gate 4 at Marburg last start before getting a cart into the contest when sound to the line to finish 6m in arrears of the winner. Positioning cheaply can see him chime in.

SELECTIONS: DATSINAHURRI (9), SCHOOBY (7), PRIVATE JUJON (8), THE CROM (4)
SUGGESTED BET: DATSINAHURRI (9) to win

RACE NINE

GOING GREAT GUNS (5)
returned from a long break to finish with the bronze after being asked to work hard when parked through a slick closing 800m. Sent forward from this same gate last start second up, he grafted out a determined win. This is tougher, but he is up to the task.

ZARAS A TREASURE (4) should appreciate dropping back to this grade of contest after meeting tougher opponents in three runs back from a spell. Midfield when finishing 8m from DELIGHTFUL LOU last start, it followed a 2nd to AMAMI and despite a tricky gate she can throw it down.

SUZUKEE (3) struck trouble last start that ended her chances as she tailed them in. That was her second up effort after a smart first up run when attacking late for the silver and she can feature.

EXPLANATION NOTEED (8) settled in the running line form this same alley last start and was picking off a few in the closing stages to finish midfield. She can be thereabouts once again.

SELECTIONS: GOING GREAT GUNS (5), ZARAS A TREASURE (4), SUZUKEE (3), EXPLANATION NOTEED (8)
SUGGESTED BET: GOING GREAT GUNS (5) to win

RACE TEN

GELIGINITE JOE (2)
makes his first appearance in Qld for the Trent Dawson barn and will be resuming from a lengthy spell. With two preparatory trials where he has not been asked for a great deal, he comes up with the conditions to strike fresh.

PAMPELONNE (5) will take some benefit from her return run here last week when resuming from a spell for her first Qld appearance. Doing plenty wrong as a beaten favourite, she was still just 4m in arrears of the winner and with some added experience can throw down the challenge.

MIKIYOURSOFINE (3) held the pocket trail from the ace last start when finishing midfield behind ACE LOMBO. Placed in successive starts prior, he can be close enough to the action to feature.

FLOORLESS (6) ended her streak of minor placings last start that had extended to five successive 2nd place returns. Despite the tough alley, she can bounce back onto the podium.

SELECTIONS: GELIGINITE JOE (2), PAMPELONNE (5), MIKIYOURSOFINE (3), FLOORLESS (6)
SUGGESTED BET: GELIGINITE JOE (2) to win
