Racing Queensland advises that an additional Capalaba greyhound race meeting has been programmed for Wednesday afternoon, April 27 – following the track’s return to racing today.
Nominations for the April 27 meeting will close on Friday, April 22 at 9.30am.
As per the current programming schedule, the Ipswich club will also race on April 27 in the evening slot, normally held by Rockhampton which has shifted to Friday meetings for its annual Rockhampton Cup heat and finals on April 22 and April 29.
Progress continues with the remediation of the Albion Park track with racing currently projected to return on Wednesday, May 4. Laying and preparation of the track is currently on schedule to allow for trialing late next week. Please note Wednesday, May 4 and Wednesday, May 11 were originally scheduled as Finish on Lure meetings, these will now be catching pen meetings.

The following changes have been made to the Albion Park feature programme for May, in line with the current return to racing projection.
Winged Runner
- Previously programmed as a two week 520m Bitches only series with heats on Thursday, April 28 and final on Thursday, May 5.
- Now programmed as a Bitches Open 520m on Thursday, May 5.
Legacy Classic
- Previously programmed as an Open 600m on Thursday, May 5.
- Now programmed as an Open 520m on Thursday, May 19.
