RACE TWO

MUSCULUS (10) was a winner here 3 starts back when securing the perfect run in the trail and then using the passing lane to arrive for the prize. Runner-up in both starts since that victory, he was attacking the line strongly in the closing stages last start and this looks well within reach.

KYVALLEY TINMAN (9)
makes his Qld debut and will be having his 1st race start since December of 2018. A winner at Yarra Valley over the 2150m trip 3 starts back, he was then within 7m of IMA BOURBON GIRL at his next run. With a pair of trials to prepare, he can be thereabouts.

DAY TOURER (3) is a slick beginner from the tapes and should appreciate the return to the middle-distance after tackling the longer 2647m last time. Only 5.5m from LAVROS TEXAS, he is in the mix.

ALS LAW (11) will have the 30m impost to overcome, but he is working towards landing his 1st Qld victory. His run on Sat night for 3rd to SOUTHERN ALPS was an eye catcher and he can feature.

SELECTIONS: MUSCULUS (10), KYVALLEY TINMAN (9), DAY TOURER (3), ALS LAW (11)
SUGGESTED BET: MUSCULUS (10) to win

RACE THREE

FIRE ME UP (2) found the front from this same gate when on debut 2 starts back and soon released the lamp lighting duties and found the line in good style for 2nd to A BETTER CHANCE. Forget the 2nd up effort when striking trouble at Redcliffe, back to the big oval and from the gate she can capitalise.

TARGARYEN HANOVER (5) was buried away in the run on Fri and was sound to the line to grab the bronze behind the star in the making EXPENSIVE EGO. That had followed a nice effort to get within 2m of the winner LEFT A HURRIKANE and despite a tricky gate, he can go close to a maiden victory.

JEWEL OF PEAK (3) sat in the pocket trail here 2 starts back and was driving hard in the stretch to get within a neck of the winner MAYWYNS JEWEL. Tough in the breeze last start, she is close to a win.

ABBEY DIADEMA (1) was sound to the line here 2 starts back after being locked away well back on the pegs and chasing home. With a cosy run from this gate she can be chiming into the exotics.

SELECTIONS: FIRE ME UP (2), TARGARYEN HANOVER (5), JEWEL OF PEAK (3), ABBEY DIADEMA (1)
SUGGESTED BET: FIRE ME UP (2) to win

RACE FOUR

BILLBOARD BONNIE (3)
will take some benefit from her 1st look at Qld racing last start when forced to roll the sleeves and cut the breeze over the mile. In for the fight she was only 4m from the winner to hold the silver. Back to her own age is a plus and from this alley can look to get on the board.

KWASII (4) had an early shot for the front here last start from gate 3 and in a slick opening panel was then able to find some cover. Not far away at the finish with MISS BLUE GLORY taking the prize, it was a tidy effort. His run 2 starts back was sound and if able to limit the early burn, he can feature.

MINTED MONTANA (2) set a steady tempo in the early stages at Redcliffe 2 starts back and ramping it late was grabbed on the line. He faded late last start and while not sure how well is actually travelling after a long layoff, he does get a chance here.

SIRIUS VICKI (6) was snagged back from gate 5 last start and stuck to the inside to look for the short-cuts home and wasn’t too far from MISS BLUE GLORY. The gate hurts again, but she has claims.

SELECTIONS: BILLBOARD BONNIE (3), KWASII, MINTED MONTANA (2), SIRIUS VICKI (6)
SUGGESTED BET: BILLBOARD BONNIE (3) to win

RACE FIVE

LETS CUT LOOSE (1) will be further tightened from his latest appearance when 2nd up in Qld and returning from a 6-month break. Settling in the running line from gate 8 at Redcliffe, he was finding the line in nice style. Tough in the breeze 1st up, he lands the good gate here and gets every chance.

PSYCHEDELIC (5) eased back early from gate 6 in a field of 6 last start and was able to find the poles and look for luck in the run. With an even tempo throughout the 2138m trip, he was within 5m of the winner. He found the line strongly 3 starts back when only beaten 1m and can swoop late here.

IAMBOOGIE (3) has some electric moves off the machine and from this alley can look to take control early. Leading them up last start from gate 6, he only faded the closing strides and if he can pinch a panel here will give some cheek.

BRADS LUCK (6) was locked away against the pegs last start and was probing for the openings when 5m from the winner. His run was big the start prior when covering plenty of ground and he is in the mix.

SELECTIONS: LETS CUT LOOSE (1), PSYCHEDELIC (5), IAMBOOGIE (3), BRADS LUCK (6)
SUGGESTED BET: LETS CUT LOOSE (1) to win

RACE SIX

WRITE ABOUT LEXY (3) was 1st to the pegs before taking cover on sat night in a mares qualifier and along the passing lane went within 2m of the winner. Not really suited the start prior in a sizzling mile, she will appreciate this class of opponent and from the good gate can open her AP account.

COBBLER LANE (9) has been in superb touch since joining the Warren Hinze barn and boasts wins at 4 of his past 6 outings. Here last week he pounced on the pegs from gate 2 and then dictated terms to cruise home to a 5m victory. The gate hurts somewhat but he will be throwing down a challenge.

MOTU RAMPAGE (6) started from gate 9 last start when 1st up for Turpin stable in Qld. Not getting the cleanest run home, there was a bit to like about the effort. This is a shade easier and he stays under notice.

LITTLELIONELJAMES (8) didn’t have any luck at all last start and was buried in the run and probing for space that never arrived. Finishing over the top of them 2 starts back, he the gaps open he has claims.

SELECTIONS: WRITE ABOUT LEXY (3), COBBLER LANE (9), MOTU RAMPAGE (6), LITTLELIONELJAMES (8)
SUGGESTED BET: WRITE ABOUT LEXY (3) to win

RACE SEVEN

CLASSIE AMERCIAN (10) worked home wide off the track from a 2nd line gate over the 2138m here 3 starts back to arrive in time for a nice win. Runner-up at his next start to THATSWHATISAID, the form out of that race has held-up well with 5 subsequent winners coming from the race. Despite the 2nd line he can swoop to score.

IM NORMA JEAN (3) was snagged back from gate 6 last start and went luck hunting along the pegs when down the line behind TENNYSON BROMAC. Buried away from a 2nd line gate over the 2138m here 2 starts back, she does her best work in front and can give then something to chase in front.

SECRETAGENT TYCOON (11) shoots for the hat-trick after a pair of impressive wins at both the sprint and middle-distance trips. Strong in the breeze to score last start, with the right trip he can feature.

KEY LARGO (5) rolled forward from gate 6 last start and rolling the sleeves was forced to work in the breeze, fading in the closing stages, ending 5m in arrears. Runner-up his previous 4, he is in the mix.

SELECTIONS: CLASSIE AMERCIAN (10), IM NORMA JEAN (3), SECRETAGENT TYCOON (11), KEY LARGO (5)
SUGGESTED BET: CLASSIE AMERCIAN (10) to win

RACE EIGHT

GINA MACH (2) showed no hangover of barrier misdemeanours when quickly off the gate at her 1st run back in the draw after 10 runs as an ODM runner. Straight to the front over the 2138m, she released to the very smart SPEECH IS SILVER and held 2nd. Back to the mile she gets her chance.

ARK ME (6) went back to the passing lane to find space when momentarily held up and was hitting the line hard to get within a flared nostril of the win. That followed victory at Redcliffe when making the most of a cosy run in transit to arrive. The gate is a stinger but she can be in the fight.

LINCOLNS GIRL (10) will find this easier than her past 2 outings in the SE and Qld Oaks when down the line behind OUR PRINCESS TIFFANY. Given a sharp trial since the Oaks, look for her to challenge.

THE MONEY BALL (9) closed out strongly over this trip 2 starts back to get within a half-head of the winner JUSTA DALE. Attacking the line in the closing stages last start, he will swoop late again.

SELECTIONS: GINA MACH (2), ARK ME (6), LINCOLNS GIRL (10), THE MONEY BALL (9)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 2-6-9-10
