RACE TWO

BEEF CITY BLAZE (1) loves a cold sit and then a closing shot and this race looks to profile ideally for that set up. In great touch where he has hit the board at his past 7 in succession, he was chasing gamely from the 1x1 trail last start when 5m away in a slick 1780m. He can be coiled and ready to strike.

THERESACHANCE (2) was a winner here 6 starts back when pouncing on the poles from this same gate and then keeping the speed on throughout to claim aa big 10m victory. Placed in 3 of the 5 since that victory including a half-neck margin last start from gate 6, he can look to take them all the way.

GLENLEDI BOY (7) was building towards something after finishing as the runner-up in successive outings and franked that when powering over the top of them last start. He will be probing here.

SAVING MAJOR PERCY (9) resumes from a spell after starting the season in top order, hitting the board in all 8 starts that includes 3 victories. Placed at his only attempt here at Redcliffe, he stays under watch.

SELECTIONS: BEEF CITY BLAZE (1), THERESACHANCE (2), GLENLEDI BOY (7), SAVING MAJOR PERCY (9)
SUGGESTED BET: BEEF CITY BLAZE (1) to win

RACE THREE

MORESCO (1)
was sent forward from a wide gate last start to take control and once in front held off the challengers in claiming a smart victory. With the improved gate and a tidy record over the middle trip, she can take control early and look to finish them off late.

IN CHEVRON WE TRUST (7) takes his first look at Redcliffe and comes up with the likely map to be in the trail and stalking the leader. Charging home from deep in the pack 3 starts back over the 2138m at The Creek to grab the silver, he followed that with a 3rd. He will be ready to strike in the stretch.

SPORTY AZZ (9) features in a stable switch and is left with Ricky Hart after campaigning for Aaron Dunn. He faces a class drop into this contest and cannot be underestimated.

NIKALONG HENRY (3) rolled forward from gate 4 over this trip last time out and eventually pressed on to take control. Once in front he held them off and while this is harder, he can still feature.

SELECTIONS: MORESCO (1), IN CHEVRON WE TRUST (7), SPORTY AZZ (9), NIKALONG HENRY (3)
SUGGESTED BET: MORESCO / IN CHEVRON WE TRUST 1 / 7 Quinella

RACE FOUR

PEPPA BLISS (3)
was 2nd up in Qld here last week when given plenty of time to balance up off the gate. Pressing forward to take control, she was never in danger thereafter in scoring by a dozen metres. Fitter for that outing, she can make it back-to-back victories from this alley.

MY ULTIMATE HESTON (2) eased from gate 6 last start over the AP mile and was back in the field when making a strong closing challenge up the stretch. Only 1m in arrears of the winner JAY DEE BE ROLLIN, he has not been too far away of late and from this gate can settle close to challenge.

LA PISTOLA (1) has not had much luck with barriers in recent outings with his past 4 starts coming from 9, 5, 6 and 10. Probing for a run last start when the gaps did not present, tucked in behind the speed here can see him feature.

JAY DEE BE ROLLIN (6) does not have many favours from this alley as he goes in search of the hat-trick. Receiving all the favours to land leaders back last start and then arrive up the lane, he is a podium hope here.

SELECTIONS: PEPPA BLISS (3), MY ULTIMATE HESTON (2), LA PISTOLA (1), JAY DEE BE ROLLIN (6)
SUGGESTED BET: PEPPA BLISS (3) to win

RACE FIVE

HIGH ON MONTANA (5) has the lone win in 28 attempts at the middle-distance trip, which is of some concern, however, just needs a slice of luck in transit. Settling rearward last start before working home in nice order when midfield to HAPPY PUBLICANS, he made a costly error here 2 starts back. He might just sneak home with this.

ALLSTAR SEA (8) has been runner-up at his past 2 starts, the latest when trying to take the closing shot and finishing 2m from the winner ROCKNROLL DA GAMA. Gunned down in front the start prior when trying to take them all the way as the race favourite, he can be working home late to challenge.

RAINBOW JET (7) was forced to sit parked and do it the tough way here last week but was unable to last after being grabbed in the closing stages by BONDI SHAKE. Needing some luck form this alley, he will be probing.

FLEETING FEELGOOD (3) has hit the board in all 4 starts here at The Triangle since arriving in Qld and will look for a hat-trick of victories after scoring successive wins at the 1780m trip. Settling near the action, he is right in the fight.

SELECTIONS: HIGH ON MONTANA (5), ALLSTAR SEA (8), RAINBOW JET (7), FLEETING FEELGOOD (3)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE SIX

COBBITY CASTLE (6)
has the wide gate owing to her own manners and in 5 starts here at Redcliffe has been in the money at all 5 that includes a pair of victories. Easing to sit at the rear last start, she was wide off the track when making her run last start to grab the silver as the winner took inside runs. In a tricky contest, she can arrive.

BARBOO (4) is racing in super consistent fashion, placing in 10 if his past 12 starts including the past 7 in succession where he has finished as the runner-up at his past 4 on the bounce. Grabbed in the last strides when leading last starts to go under by a half-head, he can be making another challenge here.

GHOST GUM (1) lands the options from this alley and has not been too far away in recent starts including a win from gate 5 here 4 starts back. Working home smartly last start, the gate is a big plus.

JAMAICAN RESORT (3) was a winner here 2 starts back when easing from gate 6 to find the pegs and then taking inside runs arrived to claim the prize. Runner-up last start, he is a podium chance again.

SELECTIONS: COBBITY CASTLE (6), BARBOO (4), GHOST GUM (1), JAMAICAN RESORT (3)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE SEVEN

ALLMIGHTY MAX (2)
faced the 2nd line at each of his past 2 starts, the most recent when returning from a let up and settling in the running line over the AP mile. Chasing gamely as MAC SWEENEY controlled it up front, this will be his 2nd appearance on this track where he can look for the breakthrough.

FRANCO NANDOR (4) has hit the board in both appearances here at The Triangle including a win when taking them all the way from this same gate. Firing off the arm to lead and hold on for a 5m margin in that event, he was gunned down in front last start by JAY DEE BE ROLLIN. Back to this grade he can throw it down.

INZANIGHT (6) is still learning her craft and shown a mix of waywardness and ability to date. Eased from this gate last time, she worked home smartly wide off the track to arrive for the prize. A similar trip can see her making late metres once again.

KING OF COOL (9) eased from gate 5 to find the running line last start and was out and chasing when grabbing 3rd behind PEPPA BLISS. Tackling a much stronger race the start prior, he can chime in here.

SELECTIONS: ALLMIGHTY MAX (2), FRANCO NANDOR (4), INZANIGHT (6), KING OF COOL (9)
SUGGESTED BET: ALLMIGHTY MAX (2) to win

RACE EIGHT

WHATA REACTOR (9)
had a pair of wins in her previous 3 starts heading into her assignment here 2 runs back and after showing some early hustle faded in the closing stages. Her run last week when midfield was sharper and in a wide-open contest, if she can get the right cart into the battle, she might sneak away with it.

ELLE JAY (3) was asked to do it the tough way last start when sitting parked over the AP mile. In for the fight, she held on for the silver behind the clear out winner GINA TARANTELLA. From the gate she can take an early shot and up on the speed can make her challenge.

CHASIN DREAMZ (8) is chasin hat-trickz here after claiming victory at her past 2 starts, the latest when starting from inside the 2nd line. Moving wider on the track, she claimed a neck victory over subsequent winner AURORA ROSE.

GLENCOE REIGN (1) started from inside the 2nd line last time out and was soon hemmed away and needing space. Fitter for the run after 7 weeks between appearances, he can feature from this alley.

SELECTIONS: WHATA REACTOR (9), ELLE JAY (3), CHASIN DREAMZ (8), GLENCOE REIGN (1)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE NINE

SLIDE TO UNLOCK (3) settled in the 1x1 trail last start when sent to the post as the favourite but could not finish it off when 7m in arrears of the winner KING OF KAOS. Gunned down here 3 starts back when looking to take them all the way, she is getting closer to the maiden breaker.

QUICK CLASSIC (2) is showing improvement at every outing and lines up after placing at his past 4 on the bounce. Taken back from gate 6 last time out, he was hitting the line in nice order to grab 3rd behind KING OF KAOS. With early speed he can look to fire the first shots from this alley.

DOOLITTLE DEXTER (1) started from this alley at The Creek last time when soon finding himself locked away 3 back against the poles. Chiming in for 3rd, he should secure the easy trip again.

SIR HASZEM (4) continues to search for the elusive maiden breaking victory and has placed his past 3 in succession in search of the win. Not far away in each of those, he can be thereabouts once again.

SELECTIONS: SLIDE TO UNLOCK (3), QUICK CLASSIC (2), DOOLITTLE DEXTER (1), SIR HASZEM (4)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-2-3-4

RACE TEN

MERGE RIGHT (4) has been runner-up in both starts, including a charging finish when only a neck from the winner SHEZ NOTORIOUS last time out. Making her debut here against older horses when closing out in nice order, she finds the right maiden event to get on the board.

EXPLANATION NOTED (1) tackled the Fillies Triad Consolation last start when not entirely comfortable and finishing down the line. Only 5m from subsequent winner MIDNIGHT SOMEWHERE 2 starts back from this same alley, she can look to make am account opening challenge here.

VODKA EN ICE (2) has hit the board in 3 of his 6 starts to date with all 3 of those here at the Peninsula. Working hard early when runner-up to HOLY MADNESS 2 starts back, he has claims.

COPY WRITER (3) showed some early hustle off the arm in the Fillies Consolation last start and was searching for gaps when grabbing 3rd. With added experience, she is in the mix.

SELECTIONS: MERGE RIGHT (4), EXPLANATION NOTED (1), VODKA EN ICE (2), COPY WRITER (3)
SUGGESTED BET: MERGE RIGHT (4) to win
