RACE TWO

OOZINVILLE (2) had been knocking on the door with some smart performances since joining the Greg Franklin barn and converted that over the 2040m trip 2 starts back. He set a solid tempo last start over the 2138m at AP and back to the sprint trip here at the triangle can dictate.

PACIFIC DRUMS (6) was after the hat-trick last start when landing gate 7 at AP over the 2138m. Rolling forward to the breeze he was in for the fight and went within 3m of victory in claiming the silver behind the passing lane winner MAJESTIC KIWI. The gate hurts but he can challenge.

TAKITIMU EXPRESS (1) found the pocket trail from gate 5 at Marburg last start and when fed racetrack swooped over the top to score. With the cosy trip he will take the snipers shot.

ONE OFF (7)
will need plenty of luck from this alley as he looks to be buried in the run. A strong winner when sent to the front last start he will be probing for the openings.

SELECTIONS: OOZINVILLE (2), PACIFIC DRUMS (6), TAKITIMU EXPRESS (1), ONE OFF (7)
SUGGESTED BET: Flexi trifecta 1-2-6-7

RACE THREE

TUESDAYS FELLA (2) should find this a shade below what he has met in recent starts. He found the line strongly last start from the 2nd row when 8m from FAME ASSURED. Beaten at the barrier 2 starts back, he can look to make the most of the good alley to take them all the way.

VELOCE BELLA (1)was buried in the run from inside the 2nd line at AP 2 starts back and when the passing lane opened was hugging the pegs to slide through and nab the prize. She fought hard from the breeze last start and with a cosy trip here can look to take the closing shot.

ARK TEAMO (4) was working home from a long way back in the pack 2 starts back and went within 2.5m of victory from a 2nd line gate. Only 3m from the winner last start she can go close again.
MAJORDOIT (8) resumes from a spell and opened the pipes with a tidy trial in preparation. He should get a nice trail through from the gate and with a solid record on the triangle has claims.

SELECTIONS: TUESDAYS FELLA (2), VELOCE BELLA (1), ARK TEAMO (4), MAJORDOIT (8)
SUGGESTED BET: TUESDAYS FELLA (2) to win

RACE FOUR

VANDE VELDE (10)
has the tough gate to negotiate but shouldn’t find this any harder than his wins from gates 6 and 10 in similar races within his past 4 starts. 2 runs back from gate 6 he cut the breeze and was too strong. His last start Tamworth run was full of merit and this is within reach.

DONNY JONES (2) doesn’t have the best of numbers next to his name but there have been excuses and faced some tough draws along the way. This is also a drop in grade to what he has been meeting and with the benefit of an improved gate, he can return a sharper effort here.

WRITEABOUTCHELSEA (4) made the most of an improved gate last start and looked to take them all the way over the AP mile. Only grabbed late by SAMMARI she can be in the mix here.

ROCKNROLL MUSIC (9) returns from a spell and despite a tough gate should find this easier than recent assignments. He made an error last start and with a cart home has podium hopes.

SELECTIONS: VANDE VELDE (10), DONNY JONES (2), WRITEABOUTCHELSEA (4), ROCKNROLL MUSIC (9)
SUGGESTED BET: VANDE VELDE (10) to win

RACE FIVE

RUTHLESS ARMBRO (10) slogged it out to score from the breeze here 4 starts back over the sprint trip and followed that with a tough 2nd. His latest run was a tidy effort when making ground from back in the pack behind MAJESTIC KIWI and despite the carpark draw can be too strong here.

ARTS PEREGRINE (1) was a winner here 4 starts back when finishing over the top for a 2040m victory. Freshened since his latest outing when struggling to work into the contest from back in the pack at Marburg, he can look to make the most of the ace gate and the options.

ANNAS BEST (2) found the leaders back last start and was taking a shot up the passing lane when finishing 4m from the winner SAMMARI. If she can find the pegs she will be thereabouts.

RAINBOW STYLING (9) made a winning Qld debut when using the passing lane to arrive for the prize. Wide off the track last start when hitting the line nicely she has podium claims again.

SELECTIONS: RUTHLESS ARMBRO (10), ARTS PEREGRINE (1), ANNAS BEST (2), RAINBOW STYLING (9)
SUGGESTED BET: RUTHLESS ARMBRO (10) to win

RACE SIX

IMA TOP TYCOON (1)
took on a qualifier 2 starts back and was forced to work hard in the run when sitting outside the leader and fading off late under a strong mile. Looking to work home in the closing stages last start behind LENNY THE LEGEND, he will get the options here and gets his chance.

CORPORAL LUNA (3) rolled forward to the breeze from gate 2 last start and after the tough run hoisted the white flag over the 2138m. His run 2 back from behind the leader was a sound effort in similar company to this and if limiting the early burn will be fighting on hard in the closing stages.

OHOKA COOPER (7) went back from gate 6 last start and was charging home in the closing stages to grab the bronze behind ADRIFT.  With a cosy run on offer he can look to take the shortcuts.

RAESAWINNER (6) grabbed 2nd on the grass at Kilcoy 2 starts back and then last start was beaten by gate 12 over the 2138m. He can be looking to issue a closing challenge.

SELECTIONS: IMA TOP TYCOON (1), CORPORAL LUNA (3), OHOKA COOPER (7), RAESAWINNER (6)
SUGGESTED BET: IMA TOP TYCOON (1) to win

RACE SEVEN

SHEZA GALVINATOR (10) will strip fitter from her latest run when resuming from a break and working home in good order after starting from a wide gate. Gunned down after looking to take them all the way 3 starts back she trialled in good order for her return and can cash-in here.

MAJORESS JUJON (4) started from gate 6 last start over the AP mile and couldn’t get position early and ended up at the rear of the field. Looking for shortcuts home the run was a tidy effort when mid-field behind JUST TOMMY. With good early speed she can take an early shot and go close.

TOO GOOD FOR YOU (6) worked home in good order from the 2nd line at Tamworth last start which followed a nose 2nd from gate 4 here over the 1780m. The gate makes it tough but he can feature.

MACH TORQUE (9) resumes from a spell to start her 4YO term here. Last seen when working home in good style behind COREY WILLIAM, she can be thereabouts in this and improve for the run.

SELECTIONS: SHEZA GALVINATOR (10), MAJORESS JUJON (4), TOO GOOD FOR YOU (6), MACH TORQUE (9)
SUGGESTED BET: SHEZA GALVINATOR (10) to win

RACE EIGHT

VELUTI (3)
was luckless last start behind JUST TOMMY when not seeing space to get into the contest. Buried away in the run 2 starts back he worked home in good order to be 8m from VELOCE BELLA and with this looking easier than recent outings he can take make the most of his chances.

COAST WARNING (10) has no favours from this alley but might just find this more to his liking after meeting tougher opponents recently. Within 2m of the winner from the pocket trail here 3 starts back he can look to hit the line in the closing stages and be right in the fight.

KID CALVERT (1) led throughout to break his maiden status at Marburg 4 starts back. Not suited in 3 starts since, he can make the most of the inside gate here and has place hopes.

SCOTT TOM (2) has been too far back in the pack in recent starts and with a better alley here can look to settle closer to the speed. From gate 2 he can chime into the exotics.

SELECTIONS: VELUTI (3), COAST WARNING (10), KID CALVERT (1), SCOTT TOM (2)
SUGGESTED BET: VELUTI (3) to win

RACE NINE

REDRIVERDEBBA (9)
fought on gamely last start after sitting three-wide the trip over the 2138m under mobile conditions. Stepping straight to the front here 3 starts back and dictating, this is an easier line-up and with just the 10m handicap looks to get her chance in this.

HONEY PLEASE (1) was a Marburg winner last start when starting from the 10m tape and finishing best to score. A winner over this trip 3 starts back after stepping cleanly and then opting for cover, she can look for similar tactics and will be issuing the challenge in the stretch.

MISS INVASION (7) made a mess of the start last time out under mobile conditions. She was working home in good order in the closing stages after being forced wide and will be thereabouts in this.

MAJESTIC WHIZ (4) did her share of work in the run last start and was in for the fight in a tidy effort over the 2200m at Marburg. From the front line tape she has rough place hopes.

SELECTIONS: REDRIVERDEBBA (9), HONEY PLEASE (1), MISS INVASION (7), MAJESTIC WHIZ (4)
SUGGESTED BET: REDRIVERDEBBA (9) to win
