RACE TWO

ROCKNROLL EMMA (4) was sent forward early to the breeze over the 1780m trip last start and in a solidly run contest was still fighting to the line when within 5m of the winner GOTTA GOOD REASON to claim the silver. Buried away in a mares qualifier the start prior, this looks within reach.

SPRINGFIELD SPIRIT (6) continued his consistent form last start to make it 3 wins and 3 minors in his past 6 outings. Sliding forward early from gate 4 to then receive running line cover, he finished over the top to claim a half-head victory. The wide gate stings, but he can charge late.

SPONDOOLEY (3) chased valiantly last start to grab 2nd behind CHIRPY CHUCKLES after doing some early work to find a position. With the right run he can be looking to swoop home.

LIVING GRAND (5) saw plenty of the new track at AP last start when he never closer than three-wide throughout over the 2138m. Finding position at a cheaper price in this he can podium.

SELECTIONS: ROCKNROLL EMMA (4), SPRINGFIELD SPIRIT (6), SPONDOOLEY (3), LIVING GRAND (5)
SUGGESTED BET: ROCKNROLL EMMA (4) to win

RACE THREE

PACIFIC DRUMS (6) took a while to break his Qld duck, but since he was able to breakthrough has been able to win 3 of his past 4 starts and all here on the triangle. In the heats of this series final he rolled forward to the breeze and was on song to put them away in a strong closing 800m. He can repeat that here.

TAKITIMU EXPRESS (1) swooped home to a stylish win at Marburg 2 starts back after settling in behind the leader and angling wide to open space. In the same heat as PACIFIC DRUMS from this same gate, he chased in vain to grab 2nd. With the cosy trip once again he can chase.

TUESDAYS FELLA (4) sat back to come at them with one shot and found the line strongly to claim a 5m victory. Fitter from that outing when 2nd up, he will be looking to throw down a challenge.

ARK TEAMO (2) was snagged back to the pegs from gate 4 in the heat and never saw an opening when sneaking into the final. From the improved gate she can settle handy and chime into the exotics.

SELECTIONS: PACIFIC DRUMS (6), TAKITIMU EXPRESS (1), TUESDAYS FELLA (4), ARK TEAMO (2)
SUGGESTED BET: PACIFIC DRUMS (6) to win

RACE FOUR

BOB GAGE (3)
rolled forward from the 2nd line last start to the breeze and was fighting hard when 2nd fading in the closing stages behind CHIRPY CHUCKLES. Luckless the start prior behind ADRIFT, he gets his chance to fire an early shot here and if finding the pegs can look to dictate terms here.

EPIRUS BOY (4) was finding the line strongly 2 starts back and went within a head of the winner over the AP mile. Last start from gate 2 and sent to the post as fav was trying to make closing ground from back in the pack. The key to his chances are finding position without getting too far back.

COLOMBIAN GOLD (8) has developed a nice record here on the triangle, winning 3 of her 6 appearances. Snagged back from gate 5 last time out she worked home strongly to score and will be stalking them again.

JUST ROKIN (7) will need plenty of luck from this alley, but if able to find space with track to work with will be in the mix. Finishing top 3 in 13 of 14 appearances on the triangle, she can add to that.

SELECTIONS: BOB GAGE (3), EPIRUS BOY (4), COLOMBIAN GOLD (8), JUST ROKIN (7)
SUGGESTED BET: BOB GAGE (3) to win

RACE FIVE

SAMS A CHAMP (4) has a great record on the triangle and has been freshened since his last start where he can be forgiven after being forced to work hard in the breeze. That followed a tough run when fighting hard to grab 2nd to MAKO BANNER. He can make a play for the pegs and take his chance.

FRANCO TOTEM (2) landed the pocket trail over the mile 2 starts back at AP which was the winning spot when able to use the passing lane and sprint home to victory. Off the 2nd line last start he ended up a long way back in the run when looking to work home wide out. Back to the front line suits.

CLINTAL DO (9) did plenty of work when wide out and closing strongly when going past them to score a 10m victory from the 2nd line at Tamworth. He found the line in good fashion on Sat and is in the mix.

TYGAR (1) worked home well on Sat night to grab 2nd behind SHARDS HALO which followed a luckless run when probing for openings. With a cosy trip here look for him swooping late.

SELECTIONS: SAMS A CHAMP (4), FRANCO TOTEM (2), CLINTAL DO (9), TYGAR (1)
SUGGESTED BET: SAMS A CHAMP (4) each-way

RACE SIX

HERES MY NUMBER (1)
has started 3 times since returning from a spell and lands conditions and opponents to suit here. Starting fav over the 2040m trip 2 starts back he did some early work when unable to cross and faded out. Wide off the track last start when down the line, he can look to capitalise.

LETHAL PROMISE (3) rolled forward from gate 6 last start to face the breeze and was fighting to the line when 4m from the winner GOLDEN YEAR. Forget the start prior when locked on the fence and beating himself when too keen, he can look to find the breeze again and will be in the mix.

ULTIMATE AD (9) put together successive Armidale victories in good fashion and has then been unsuited at his next 2 starts. Beaten at Tamworth last start when too far back, he has podium claims.

MIRACLESDOAPPEN (7) created space to angle into the pocket trail last week but after the soft trip couldn’t go when the pace went on. With another easy trip here she can be around the money.

SELECTIONS: HERES MY NUMBER (1), LETHAL PROMISE (3), ULTIMATE AD (9), FAMOUS SHOES (2)
SUGGESTED BET: HERES MY NUMBER (1) to win

RACE SEVEN

INCITER (9) returned from a spell in fine style when finding the breeze at Marburg and proving too strong to hold on for a 2m victory. In the money at 12 of his past 14 starts he will be fitter for the run and with there looking to be some good early tempo and pressure can swoop home late.

TRAIN WRECK (5) started from the 2nd line last time out and was trying to make closing ground when down the line behind BIG BEAT. That followed a strong win from the 2nd line over the AP mile when racing wide and arriving to score. He can get into the contest early to challenge in this.

BUKTHSYSTEM (2) hasn’t been suited at his recent starts when finding himself back in the pack from wide gates. With the improved alley he can look to be 1st to the pegs and from there has place claims.

CONTRARY COURAGE (7) has placed at her past 2 starts when working home from back in the pack on each occasion. She chased gamely last start behind BIG BEAT and with a cosy trip will be probing for gaps.

SELECTIONS: INCITER (9), TRAIN WRECK (5), BUKTHSYSTEM (2), CONTRARY COURAGE (7)
SUGGESTED BET: INCITER (9) to win

RACE EIGHT

CHERRYS THE BEST (2)
resumes from a spell to start her 3YO term following a handy start to her career that saw her in the top 3 at 7 of 9 outings. It was somewhat of a disjointed 2YO season where she cost herself on a few occasions but there is plenty of talent there. Given a pipe-opener against older horses in a recent trial, she can return with a win.

LIFES BLACK (1) will be further tightened from his latest outing when 2nd up for the season and working hard in the breeze after circling from a 2nd line gate. Working in the run he was in for the fight when 5m from MONTANA CHIEF. With the gate advantage he maps to go close.

SHEZA GALVINATOR (4) was sent forward early from the 2nd line to find the breeze and working hard went within a head of victory. With the improved alley she can be around the money here.

REGALIA (3) has been back in the pack in 2 runs back from a spell and should be fitter now from the 2 runs back. He can settle closer here and look to chime into the exotics with the right trip.

SELECTIONS: CHERRYS THE BEST (2), LIFES BLACK (1), SHEZA GALVINATOR (4), REGALIA (3)
SUGGESTED BET: CHERRYS THE BEST (2) to win
