RACE TWO

LANSBURY (3) was forced to do the hard stuff in the breeze last start over the long trip and the effort saw her fade in the latter stages. A nice 3rd here 3 starts back when stepping cleanly before releasing for the pocket trail, she found the Sat night company a bit strong at her next run. From the front tape in the small field, she can take full advantage.

IVANOV (6) has the 20m impost to negotiate but his brilliant manners should see him make quick work of the handicap. Locked on the pegs last start, he really found the line in good style to arrive for the prize over the longer trip which followed a 2nd to MAYBETOTHEMAX in a Band event. He can throw down the challenge here.

MONORAIL (4) has worked his way into some form and has been in the money at 6 of his past 7 appearances. Only 2m from IVANOV last start over the long trip, he meets him 10m better off here and is right in the fight.

SELECTIONS: LANSBURY (3), IVANOV (6), MONORAIL (4)
SUGGESTED BET: LANSBURY (3) to win

RACE THREE

SIRIUS VICKI (1) was sent forward to the breeze last start over the mile and found it pretty tough out there as TIZ A SIZZLER laid down a sharp closing 800m to score. Fading out under the pressure, she should appreciate the good gate here that will present options for her 1st look at the AP 2138m trip. Look for her taking the closing shot.

SUNNY RICE (3) returns to the main draw after being banished to an ODM runner at her past 3 starts. Having her 1st look over the middle-distance trip last start, she was game in the breeze, punching all the way to the wire when 3m from the winner to hold 3rd. From gate 3 she can look for the lamp lighting duties and taking control will be a tough grain to crack.

DEVOUGED (5) is going better than his numbers may suggest and if thing fall in his favour, a forward finish would be no surprise. He found the line with gusto behind CHERRYS THE BEST 3 starts back and last time was winding up when JILLIBY JACKPOT got the gap. He is right in this.

NIGHT NINJA (4) started from inside the 2nd line last start and worked home in good order behind MILLWOOD TILLY. A tidy 3rd here 4 starts back, following a win over the mile, the distance is the query here.

SELECTIONS: SIRIUS VICKI (1), SUNNY RICE (3), DEVOUGED (5), NIGHT NINJA (4)
SUGGESTED BET: SIRIUS VICKI (1) to win

RACE FOUR

After meeting in the same race last week where TIZ A SIZZLER (9) had the gate advantage, the gates are reversed this time around, however it could be a case of the same finishing result. TIZ A SIZZLER was mighty impressive in his Qld debut and just 2nd career start when spearing to the front and taking them all the way, including a slippery 55 flat closing 800. He can go 2 for 2.

WILL THE WIZARD (3) started from gate 9 as the SIZZLER was doing exactly that in front and he chased in vain, grabbing the bronze at his 1st appearance this term. He will take great benefit from the run and with the early speed to pounce on the poles, he will give them plenty to chase.

SHADYS DELIGHT (1) showed good speed out of the machine to find the pegs prior to releasing TIZ A SIZZLER. Chasing hard he was best of the chasers to grab 2nd. Fitter again after 3 runs back, he has the draw to chime in again.

ZARAS DANCE (6) has placed in all 3 starts this campaign, the latest when luckless and probing for an opening when 4m from the winner JILLIBY JACKPOT. Moving one gate closer will help and she can chime into the money.

SELECTIONS: TIZ A SIZZLER (9), WILL THE WIZARD (3), SHADYS DELIGHT (1), ZARAS DANCE (6)
SUGGESTED BET: TIZ A SIZZLER (9) to win

RACE FIVE

JAMIES BADY BOY (1) steps out in Aus for the 1st time for the Cristina Monte barn and comes up with the ideal draw to capitalise. A winner of 3 races in his career, they have all been this season, 2 of those in his past 4 starts. Last seen at Addington when down the line over 2600m behind SCORCHA, he can start with a bang.

WHITEHAVEN LASS (4) was grabbed in the closing stages when lighting the lamps here 2 starts back at her 1st run back from a break and 1st run for the Dixon stable. Making the most of gate 1 over the mile when 2nd up, she was able to dictate in a 5m victory. With good speed she can be right in this.

SIGNOR JUJON (11) will take benefit from his return to the track to start his 3YO term. Making an early error he chased short-cuts and found the line in good order. The gate hurts but he can place.

JINGLES BROMAC (6) will be making his Aus debut for Marcel Rees and arrives from the North Island of NZ a three-time winner. With a win and two minors in six starts this term, he stays under notice.

SELECTIONS: JAMIES BADY BOY (1), WHITEHAVEN LASS (4), SIGNOR JUJON (11), JINGLES BROMAC (6)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE SIX

WE SALUTE YOU (10) started from gate 6 last start over the mile when easing to find position. Hitting the line hard from back in the pack for 3rd, there was plenty to like about how he closed out. That was his 2nd run back from a break following a spell and with some solid front-line tempo can arrive for the prize.

TAPTHEKEG (2) looked to take them all the way last start over the 2138m. Running even panels throughout, he was collared close to the wire by JILLIBY JACKPOT who was on his back. Tough in the breeze the start prior from the 2nd line, he can fire the early shots and back to the mile will be gripping on.

ROCKNROLL CLASSIC (5) will strip fitter from his 1st up run here last week when resuming from a break. Settling rearward from gate 12, he was a long way back. He can be sharper here.

TORI MAY (11) was a winner here 3 starts back when securing the perfect trip in the pocket trail and finishing over the top. Runner-up in both starts since, she can get the right cart into this.

SELECTIONS: WE SALUTE YOU (10), TAPTHEKEG (2), ROCKNROLL CLASSIC (5), TORI MAY (11)
SUGGESTED BET: WE SALUTE YOU (10) to win
