RACE TWO

JAMIES BAD BOY (4) was impressive at his Aus debut last start, leading all the way over the mile. Able to get a steady opening 800m of the last mile, the speed was dialled up and running a tidy 27.7 on the way home saw him have 7m up the sleeve. Taking good benefit from that, he can look to repeat.

SIXPENNY RED (1) had been working hard in her races of late, which may not be the best option for her. On Fri she was able to find the front from gate 6 and once in control see it out to score. Back to an inside gate is a plus here and with the option of a cosy run behind the speed, can be ready to strike in the stretch.

SUGARKANE (10) has been runner-up her past 2 starts as she builds into her campaign. From gate 6 at Redcliffe last start, she did some work mid-race and battled well to the line. With the right trail, she can feature.

WHITEHAVEN LASS (8) has hit the board in all 3 starts since arriving with the Dixon yard, the latest when runner-up to JAMIES BADY BOY when sitting in his trail. With a soft trip she has podium claims.

SELECTIONS: JAMIES BAD BOY (4), SIXPENNY RED (1), SUGARKANE (10), WHITEHAVEN LASS (8)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-4-8-10

RACE THREE

WILL THE WIZARD (8)
will be tightened up from his win here last week when 2nd up from a break. Chasing TIZ A SIZZLER in vain when resuming, he made the most of the barrier advantage last start and keeping a solid tempo in front, ran a strong 2138m to claim the prize. He will be coiled and ready to strike.

ARK ME (4) was a winner here 2 starts back when 2nd up for the season, finding 1x1 cover and then packing too many guns in the closing stages to arrive. Too far back in the Members Cup where nothing made ground from the rear, she can settle in a prominent position to challenge here.

ZARAS DANCE (1) has placed in all 4 runs since returning from a spell this campaign and lands the gate to utilise her early speed. Her past 2 have been at the middle distance and the return to the mile will see her gripping on.

ROCKNROLL CLASSIC (7) will be 3rd up this prep and facing another tough gate. Fading last start after doing plenty of work in the middle stages, if he can limit the early burn, he will be podium player.

SELECTIONS: WILL THE WIZARD (8), ARK ME (4), ZARAS DANCE (1), ROCKNROLL CLASSIC (7)
SUGGESTED BET: WILL THE WIZARD (8) to win

RACE FOUR

RECIPE FOR DREAMING (8)
looked to take them all the way 2 starts back over the mile and went down on the wire when beaten a half-head. Tough in the breeze the start prior, his effort on Sat night in a qualifier was luckless when probing for a gap that didn’t arrive and with the easy trip here will be looking to take the closing shot.

GETARATTLEON (1) eased back from gate 6 last start and settled at the rear of the field. Trying to thread a passage between the big field, he only saw space when it was all over and didn’t get a decent crack at them. With the speed to dictate where he positions, he looks to gets his chance.

RUNFORTHEROSES (2) loomed up last start and looked set to grab the win until the swoopers really attacked wide out. Settling for the bronze, it followed successive wins and she is right in this.

KEAYANG SPONGE BOB (6) makes his Qld debut after arriving in the Ryan Veivers barn. A last start winner at Maitland when leading throughout he stays under notice here 1st up.

SELECTIONS: RECIPE FOR DREAMING (8), GETARATTLEON (1), RUNFORTHEROSES (2), KEAYANG SPONGE BOB (6)
SUGGESTED BET: RECIPE FOR DREAMING (8) to win

RACE FIVE

REMEMBER ME NOW (9)
will strip fitter from his 1st up victory and despite needing to take another step up here, there was plenty to like about his return. Working to the front over this trip from gate 3, he was allowed to amble through a 32.1 2nd panel, which left him plenty of bullets to fire in the stretch. Sitting in behind, he can be ready to strike late this time.

LEFT A TERROR (4) hasn’t been too far away in hitting the board just once in 6 outings this season. Last start he sat back from gate 4 and with a 3-wide trail into the race at the 400m, didn’t have the speed to match the swoopers. Getting into a handy spot early might be the play in this to challenge.

JUSTA DALE (1) has just the 1 win at The Creek, with that also being his last victory, back in July this year. Carted out of it from the pocket trail when the leader hoisted the white flag last start, he again has the options and with a smart 2nd 2 starts back, will be right in the mix.

GODDESS JUJON (7) doesn’t have any favours from this alley, yet should find it easier than her last outing in the Members Cup. With a top-3 in her past 4 in succession, she can thread a passage to

SELECTIONS: REMEMBER ME NOW (9), LEFT A TERROR (4), JUSTA DALE (1), GODDESS JUJON (7)
SUGGESTED BET: JUSTA DALE (1) to place

RACE SIX

This race looks to be tough to pull apart, but with a number of 3YOs getting an opportunity to race their own age, they look the ones to work around. SIGNOR JUJON (12) will take some further benefit from his latest start when wide off the track from gate 11 he was 9m from the winner JAMIES BAD BOY. He made an error at his return that ended his chances and banished him to an outside draw. Despite the gate he should appreciate this opposition and can feature.

TIC TACT (9) will be 1st up for her 3YO term after placing in 5 of 7 during her 1st racing season. Last seen in the Redcliffe Sales Final when mid-field behind the gun GOVERNOR JUJON. Changing stables in the break, she will line up for Wayne Graham with a tidy preparatory trial. Moving to inside the 2nd line, she will be looking for open space in the stretch.

MISTER REBBILY (8) backs up from Fri night where he made a mess of things and is banished to the extreme outside as a result. He will be looking for a cart into the contest but can sprint late.

KYRONTA (2) hasn’t been too far away at his past few starts and with quite a few of these his own age, he should find this a little more within reach. Only 4m from RUNFORTHEROSES 2 starts back, he can fire an early shot.

SELECTIONS: TIC TACT (9), SIGNOR JUJON (12), MISTER REBBILY (8), KYRONTA (2)
SUGGESTED BET: SIGNOR JUJON (12) to win

RACE SEVEN

BEAU CISHLOM (1)
lands his best gate for some time and with the inside advantage will come the options. Back in the pack last start and more than 5 lengths off the leader and winner at the 300m, he was ducking and weaving to grab the bronze when 7m in arrears. He struck trouble the start prior and gets his chance to end a long winless streak.

SWEET AS (9) is going better than her numbers read and has been abandoned by luck recently. On Sat night she was again left searching up the stretch for some open space that never arrived after retreating from gate 5. She found the line in good order the start prior when 8m from BALLERINA COURU and if she spots any ounce of luck in running, she can challenge.

MARK OF INTEGRITY (10) rolled forward from gate 6 over the 2138m last start to find a prominent position when holding on to 4th behind LEXUS ON THE BEACH. Having no luck with the marbles, he can chime into the exotics.

WITH AUTHORITY (3) found his race at Redcliffe last start and from the 2nd line worked home over the top to claim victory in a tidy closing 800m. He can get forward here and has claims once again.

SELECTIONS: BEAU CISHLOM (1), SWEET AS (9), MARK OF INTEGRITY (10), WITH AUTHORITY (3)
SUGGESTED BET: BEAU CISHLOM (1) to win
