RACE TWO

ROYAL OBSESSION (3) finally lands a marble after 3 starts in the Sunshine State and looks to have found suitable conditions. Sliding into the running line from gate 7 last start, he loomed strongly when runner-up to ROLL WITH ROCKY. Charging home, the start prior, also from the seven hole, he can cash-in.

COULDNTELLYA (1) was back in the pack last start from gate 5 and still at the rear with 500m to travel was attacking the line with gusto when beaten a neck behind GOTTA MOMENT. A passing lane winner here 4 starts back over the 2138m trip, she can get the perfect run in behind the action and can take the snipers shot.

TEARAWAY DIAMOND (8) has hit the board in 5 of his past 6 starts, the latest when forced to grind it out first over from gate 6 and within 2m of the winner REDS GOOD TO GO. A smart winner here 2 runs back, he has 2nd line options to join in.

REGAL NIGHTSHADE (5) was shooting for a hat-trick of wins last start when landing the 2nd line over the mile and the tempo made it a tough chase behind leader and winner REDDS GOOD TO GO. The gates stings but he has podium hopes.

SELECTIONS: ROYAL OBSESSION (3), COULDNTELLYA (1), TEARAWAY DIAMOND (8), REGAL NIGHTSHADE (5)
SUGGESTED BET: ROYAL OBSESSION (3) to win

RACE THREE

NIMAH FRANCO (4) was a strong winner from the front over the mile here 3 starts back staving off the challengers to claim victory. Asked for too much in the Members Cup at her next start, she was closing hard over the middle distance here last start when beaten a neck. The small field suits and she can capitalise against this line-up.

ITS SUPER EASY (2) held the pocket trail from gate 1 here 3 starts back and with the cosy trip had bullets to fire when scoring by 1m. 3m from subsequent winner OAXACAN DREAM at his next outing, he was mid-field after working home in nice style wide off the track last start. Settling handy can see him challenge.

HIGHVIEW FREDDY (5) steps out at The Creek for the first time after 9 starts at The Triangle since arriving in Qld. With 2 wins and 4 minors in those appearances, the latest when only beaten a head after being nabbed late, he can feature in this.

FEARLESS FAITH (1) was 3-wide the first 800m of the mile before finding the front here last week. In for the fight, she faded late after a tough trip behind ROLL WITH ROCKY and with options can feature here.

SELECTIONS: NIMAH FRANCO (4), ITS SUPER EASY (2), HIGHVIEW FREDDY (5), FEARLESS FAITH (1)
SUGGESTED BET: NIMAH FRANCO (4) to win

RACE FOUR

BLISSFULDAY (4) is in top order and comes into this after a strong 3rd behind FRANCO HAMPTON in Saturday night company. With the benefit of a cosy trip in behind the speed, he was only a half-neck away from the winner. That followed a nice run in the heat of that final after completing a hat-trick of victories leading into the series. With the gate advantage over his main dangers, he can capitalise.

BLUE IVY (7) was making her 1st appearance since joining the Ryan Veivers barn when tackling the 3YO Classic claimed by PELOSI. Unable to secure early position, she retreated to settle at the rear and then did not work into the race. Trialling in sharp order since that outing, she looks tuned up for this class of contest and will throw down the challenge.

REDS GOOD TO GO (5) had been working towards a victory after some handy efforts following his resumption from a spell. Closing in nice style from gate 7 to grab the bronze behind ROCKSLIDE here 2 starts back, he capitalised from gate 1 last time to lead throughout in a new career PB. The gate stings.

SELECTIONS: BLISSFULDAY (4), BLUE IVY (7), REDS GOOD TO GO (5)
SUGGESTED BET: BLISSFULDAY (4) to win

RACE FIVE

This looms as a tricky little contest with only the front line and the tempo and mid-race pressure will play a factor. LIVING GRAND (5) has had a mixed campaign in recent starts, and lines up here after racing at 4 different tracks in his past 5 starts- a rarity here in Qld. Runner-up on the grass at Kilcoy 2 starts back, the 2nd line made it tough for him last start. Despite the gate, he is a threat.

IFOUNDTHEBEACH (7) tackled the 2138m here 2 starts back which is not his ideal trip but he was attacking the line in good order for the bronze after retreating to find position. Charging home wide off the track last start at Redcliffe when beaten a head, the gate is a dampener, but he can make a closing challenge.

KWASII (1) retreated from gate 6 at Redcliffe last start and from the rear was then always facing a task. Closing hard when 4m in arrears of OUR FRIEND here 2 starts back, he has oodles of early speed and that keeps him in the mix.

SONNY ORLANDO was a winner here 4 starts back over this trip when making the closing shot a winner from the running line. Down the line in tougher races since that win, he can feature with a soft trip here.

SELECTIONS: LIVING GRAND (5), IFOUNDTHEBEACH (7), KWASII (1), SONNY ORLANDO
SUGGESTED BET: LIVING GRAND (5) to win

RACE SIX

LAST PLACE LUCY (1)
is a late bloomer and will make her race debut here as a 5YO. Catching the eye in a recent trial, the daughter of Betterthancheddar was only beaten 4m behind some experienced campaigners in a slick time. Despite facing seasoned campaigners at her 1st race start, she can see it out.

GOALKICKER (8) was asked to roll the sleeves to race tough last start from gate 6 and after the tough trip sitting outside eventual winner TARGARYEN, faded in the stretch. Runner-up in 4 of her previous 5 starts, the easier trip here will be ideal, and she can look to make the closing shot a winner.

DESPONDENT (4) was well-supported last start over the 2138m but after being hustled off the arm and repelled for the early lead, he then could not make up the deficit when 2nd to ALLSTAR SEA. Fitter again after 3 runs back from a break, he has claims.

BLUE SHARD (3) could not find position from gate 7 last start and after looking to press forward was then snagged back and his chances were exponentially tougher thereafter. Chasing hard here 2 starts back, he can be thereabouts this time around.

SELECTIONS: LAST PLACE LUCY (1), GOALKICKER (8), DESPONDENT (4), BLUE SHARD (3)
SUGGESTED BET: Exotics 1-3-4-8

RACE SEVEN

RANCHO MAN (6) is edging closer to a victory after placing at his past 4 in succession and despite a tricky gate he looks to have found the opposition to overcome here. Runner-up to the smart TARGARYEN last start, he was game when forced to race first over here 2 back and only beaten 1m. He can defy the alley.

MODERNDAY FALCON (1) was runner-up from inside the 2nd line here 3 starts back when closing in good order to be 3m in arrears of LAZY BLAZE. Fresh into his net run he was down the line and then last start chased when buried from this gate. He can settle in behind the speed to make a closing challenge in this line-up.

CLARES FOOL (2) has the early speed to fire the 1st shot here and from the front will try to pinch it. Not suited last start when asked to work in the run, he was nabbed in the closing strides here 2 starts back.

ABBEY DIADEMA (8) resumes from a spell without the benefit of a preparatory trial but should get the cosy trip which will suit 1st up. Down the line last start in a stronger race over the 2138m she can join in late here.

SELECTIONS: RANCHO MAN (6), MODERNDAY FALCON (1), CLARES FOOL (2), ABBEY DIADEMA (8)
SUGGESTED BET: RANCHO MAN (6) to win

RACE EIGHT

REDRIVERDEBBA (4) has been working towards a victory as she starts to recapture some form and might just have found the right conditions here. Making an error in the early stages last time out, she really attacked the line in style when within 2m of the winner. From the 10m she can arrive.

LANSBURY (2) has not been too far from the action in recent outings and only faded in the latter stages here on Tuesday after doing some early work from the front tape. It has been a while since she last landed a victory, but with placings in 3 of her past 5, she can find a cosy position to challenge.

AVEROSS DON (5) angled back to the passing lane last start when trying to make ground after starting from the front tape. Not that far away from the 20m tape the start prior, he is a podium chance.

HAVANA MAGIC (6) backs up from Tuesday where she was out of the pack and chasing from the 600m and was game to the line when within 2m of TORFINO MIST. She can feature here.

SELECTIONS: REDRIVERDEBBA (4), LANSBURY (2), AVEROSS DON (5), HAVANA MAGIC (6)
SUGGESTED BET: REDRIVERDEBBA (4) to win
