RACE TWO

Stepping out for the first time under race conditions, the impeccably bred DELIGHTFUL LOU (1) comes up with the ideal alley to make the debut. By the super sire Bettors Delight, she is a daughter of the G1 winner Louvre. Given 3 trials this prep in readiness, she can make a winning start.

VODKA EN ICE (3) has hit the board in 3 of his 5 starts since resuming from a spell, the latest when asked to do it the tough way sitting outside MY ULTIMATE VICTOR. Fighting hard to hold on for the silver in that event, it followed a half-neck margin when 3rd and he can look to use his race experience to challenge.

INDY JEWEL (4) has been to the well on 12 occasions now searching for the elusive first win, her latest outing when buried from inside the 2nd line at Redcliffe. Game when 3rd to ALTA REVELRY here 2 starts back, she can feature.

SELECTIONS: DELIGHTFUL LOU (1), VODKA EN ICE (3), INDY JEWEL (4)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE THREE

Runner-up at her past 2 starts, MAJESTIC SPEED (3) started from the 40m tape last time when sent forward to sit parked over this trip. Grinding it out, she was able to fight off all bar the winner TAM OSHANTER who blitzed them in a big win. From the 30m, she can look to capitalise with the advantage over the main dangers.

CHASING GREAT (8) has placed in 3 of his past 4 starts, the latest when 5m from the winner ROSEHILL MAGIC and never really getting the cleanest shot at them in the stretch. Chasing hard from the 50m tape the start prior as CARNERA claimed a dominant win, he can throw down the challenge.

DOWN UNDER RORS (6) was a winner here 4 starts back over the 2647m and followed that with an error. Strong over the closing stages here 2 starts back, he has podium claims in this.

FATHER CHRISTMAS (7) was buried away from the 50m impost here 3 starts back before finding an opening and making a closing rally for the silver behind the big winner CARNERA. He can feature in this grade.

SELECTIONS: MAJESTIC SPEED (3), CHASING GREAT (8), DOWN UNDER RORS (6), FATHER CHRISTMAS (7)
SUGGESTED BET: MAJESTIC SPEED (3) to win

RACE FOUR

OUR BALOU (3)
started from the 2nd line last start over the mile and settling in the running line could not go with them as PACIFIC DRUMS swept home to score. Placed his previous 3 starts all over this trip of 2138m, 2 starts back he was collared late when leading by FOND MEMORIES. He looks to get his chance in this small field.

EH EF EL (5) started from the pole last time out and soon released for the trail over the mile. With the easy trip in behind the speed, he took his shot via the passing lane to cruise by for the victory. Chasing behind MAJORCA the start prior, the small field suits but his middle-trip record is a concern.

OHOKA JIMMY (2) was buried in the run when angled to the pegs from the 2nd line here 2 starts back and chased hard for the silver behind CHEESANDKISSES. He has the early speed to find the front and will have the options thereafter.

SELECTIONS: OUR BALOU (3), EH EF EL (5), OHOKA JIMMY (2)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE FIVE

Finding the front soon after the start over this trip last time out, CAPTAINS PICK (3) was never in danger thereafter as he powered home to the easiest of victories, posting a 16m margin on the line. Rolling forward again from this gate, he can muscle his way to the front and look for the repeat.

DANCE IN THE SUN (2) will take plenty of benefit from her return from a spell where she grabbed the silver here last week. Sent to the front early over the mile before taking cover, she was the best of the chasers when 8m from the winner GENERAL MONTANA. Her challenging chances rest on her ability to see out the trip.

RECIPE FOR DREAMING (1) grabbed the bronze last start after being beaten for speed by DANCE IN THE SUN and then being buried 3 back in the run. A similar trip can return a similar result.

CALL ME KEITH (4) will take further benefit from his latest start where he was 2nd up from a spell. Sent forward to sit parked, he could not go with them last as GENERAL MONTANA arrived.

SELECTIONS: CAPTAINS PICK (3), DANCE IN THE SUN (2), RECIPE FOR DREAMING (1), CALL ME KEITH (4)
SUGGESTED BET: CAPTAINS PICK (3) to win

RACE SIX

Not faring well with barriers in recent times, YEP GOT CHOOKS (1) should appreciate the improved marble here and utilise his early speed. Forced to work hard when sent forward from gate 6 last start, it followed a 3rd to subsequent winner EL AGUILA and he lands the gate to cash-in.

GOLIGHTLY (2) started from gate 7 last start where he was taken off the arm before being sent forward to sit parked in the middle stages. Fighting hard to hold on for the bronze when 4m in arrears, he can look to dart in behind the speed and look to take the closing shot.

PRINCESS DANICA (6) resumes from a spell after 11 months off the scene, her last start at Goulburn back in January. With 3 trials in readiness for the return, she has podium claims fresh.

WILLIEWA LIGHTNING (3) started from inside the 2nd line here on Friday and with the cosy trip behind the leader, owned the best closing speed to claim the prize. With early hustle he can feature.

SELECTIONS: YEP GOT CHOOKS (1), GOLIGHTLY (2), PRINCESS DANICA (6), WILLIEWA LIGHTNING (3)
SUGGESTED BET: YEP GOT CHOOKS (1) to win

RACE EIGHT

After 2 runs in Qld since joining the Shane Graham stable, SHES KOALA TEE (9) might have found the right conditions. Making a mess of things first up with an error, she was best of the chasers last start over the 2138m as CAPTAINS PICK cleared out. Trailing through early, she can get the run to capitalise.

HEAVENLY WISDOM (3) is a newcomer to Qld that joins the Richard Hutchison barn, arriving as a last start Penrith winner. Pressing on from gate 5 to take control in that race over the sprint trip, she zipped home a strong closing split. Not far away the start prior at Goulburn, she can challenge here.

SHEZ GOT BLING (1) held on for a midfield finish behind CAPTAINS PICK last time out from this gate and 2 starts back was 7m from FLIGH CREW. The cosy trip can see her ready to strike.

O B LEGAL (8) will be requiring a slice of luck from this alley as he follows out a horse likely to ensure he is buried away. A smart winner 2 starts back, he was game when parked last start and will be probing.

SELECTIONS: SHES KOALA TEE (9), HEAVENLY WISDOM (3), SHEZ GOT BLING (1), O B LEGAL (8)
SUGGESTED BET: SHES KOALA TEE (9) to win
