Racing Queensland acknowledges that a land, sea and air search currently being conducted on the Gold Coast relates to Queensland jockey Chris Caserta.
The search was sparked after the 26-year-old went swimming at Surfers Paradise last night and failed to return to the shore.
Racing Queensland CEO Brendan Parnell advised Queensland Police resumed the search this morning.
“Our thoughts are with Chris, and his family at this time,” Mr Parnell said.
