RACE TWO

KARLOO JONNO (3) was making his Qld debut here last start over the mile when he struck trouble when ripping a plate and going up in the air threw his chances away. A winner 5 starts back at Bathurst when leading throughout, he strikes a winnable race here and can look to take control.

MATRON JUJON (8) resumes from a spell and as the lone 2nd line runner can look to get away from the pegs early if needed. A winner over the mile 2 starts back when leading all the way in a strong rate, she was grabbed late over the 2040m at Redcliffe last start. With a tidy trial to prepare she can feature.

EPIRUS BOY (2) is still chasing his 1st win of the season and last start couldn’t get into the contest in a slick closing panel. From the gate he can settle handy and be looking to charge home late.

BANGKOK BRAVADO (6) found his race at Redcliffe 5 starts back in finishing best from the 2nd line. His latest offering was his best performance since that win when hitting the line hard and is in the mix.

SELECTIONS: KARLOO JONNO (3), MATRON JUJON (8), EPIRUS BOY (2), BANGKOK BRAVADO (6)
SUGGESTED BET: KARLOO JONNO (3) to win

RACE THREE

GREG THE GREAT (2) made a mess of the start over this trip last start and looked to have lost all chance in the race when a mile back once they settled down. Catching the pack, he then got a cart into the race at the 600m and let down powerfully to arrive for the prize. He looks hard to stop.

JEDDY R YA READY (5) makes his Qld debut for Kylie Rasmussen arriving from NZ a last start 2nd from the tapes over 2400m at Wyndham. Given a trial to prepare, it was a nice hit-out when he was never taken off the helmet of MAJESTIC SIMON and went to the line hard-held. R1 will be a great guide to his chances but he looks well placed here.

MISS INVASION (3) has been struggling from the tapes and has missed away at her past 3 in succession. She worked home strongly last start despite the poor beginning when only beaten 8m and if she is cleanly away will take stopping.

SCHIPPERS (1) is a safe beginner and from the front line can look to make the most of her chances in the early stages. Doing some early work to find the front last time, she can enjoy a soft trip to place.

SELECTIONS: GREG THE GREAT (2), JEDDY R YA READY (5), MISS INVASION (3), SCHIPPERS (1)
SUGGESTED BET: GREG THE GREAT (2) to win

RACE FOUR

SHERIFF JUJON (1)
started from gate 6 here last start and was eased back at the start. Making a late run wide out he grabbed the bronze when 9m from the winner. He hit the line in good order for the win at Redcliffe 4 starts back and with a soft trip here can look to take the closing shot in a tricky contest.

HEAVENS HURRICANE (2) will be further tightened following his 2nd run back from a spell. Starting fav at his return he looked to take them all the way over the mile when grabbed near the line. Again, grabbed in the closing stages last start, he will be looking to hold on here.

ARK PATROL (7) completed a hat-trick of victories last start when proving too strong from the breeze over the mile. He has no favours from the wide gate here but he is right in the fight.

GETINANHANGON (8) chased gamely in a strong closing 800m set from the front at Tamworth 2 starts back. Hitting the line strongly last start behind ARK PATROL from a long way back he has podium hopes.

SELECTIONS: SHERIFF JUJON (1), HEAVENS HURRICANE (2), ARK PATROL (7), GETINANHANGON (8)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE FIVE

MY ULTIMATE MAJOR (5) started fav last time out at Redcliffe from gate 2 and after finding the front over the 2040m trip set a pedestrian tempo and was gunned down. His run in the Tamworth Star Maker Final 3 back was a nice effort and on the short back-up from Wed gets his chance.

MUCHO GUAPA (1) resumes for her 3YO term and was last seen in the Fillies Triad Consolation last season when down the line behind PRESLEYBEGOOD. Breaking her maiden tag at Redcliffe 2 starts back, she has trialled well in readiness for the return and can look to challenge from the gate.

ROCKNROLL CLASSIC (11) is struggling to show his best this season and that hasn’t been helped by some poor manners that have seen him an outside draw runner. He trialled nicely before his latest start and this looks a race that he can turn his fortunes around.

ARK ME (6) resumes for her 3YO term after a solid 2YO season that saw her run top-two in 6 of 8 appearances. With a tidy trial outing to open the pipes she is right in the fight in this.

SELECTIONS: MY ULTIMATE MAJOR (5), MUCHO GUAPA (1), ROCKNROLL CLASSIC (11), ARK ME (6)
SUGGESTED BET: ROCKNROLL CLASSIC (11) each-way

RACE SIX

JUST JOSHIN (3)
looked to have thrown his chances away at Redcliffe 2 starts back when resuming from a break and with a gate-break was a long way back. In an eye-catching run he was only beaten 5m. Charging home last start to get within 3m of the winner REGAL ROCK, he will appreciate the improved gate and back to the mile can cash-in.

MISS MONEYBAGS (9) made the most of gate 3 over the sprint trip here last start and was never in danger as a short-priced elect. From gate 6 last start she was doing all the work to get forward to the breeze and she cracked in the closing stages. With the right trail through she can atone.

PRESLEYBEGOOD (10) was too far back last start when trying to make ground in a strong closing 400m panel being set from the front. Tough from the breeze 2 starts back she can be working home to podium in this.

MEGIDDO (2) was locked away in the run here last start and held ground in the run to the line. Grabbed late when looking to lead throughout here 2 starts back, he can give some cheek in front.

SELECTIONS: JUST JOSHIN (3), MISS MONEYBAGS (9), PRESLEYBEGOOD (10), MEGIDDO (2)
SUGGESTED BET: JUST JOSHIN (3) to win

RACE SEVEN

MAGOOGAN (3)
is knocking on the door of a win following placings at his past 3 in succession. He did some early work here on Tuesday and was in for the fight when only beaten a head in a blanket finish. From the gate he can look to come out hard and if able to pinch a panel in front will be hard to catch.

JUMPING JOLT (5) took on a 2nd division qualifier last start and from gate 4 was sent forward to find the pegs. Taking control, he was able to back the pace off and packed too many guns to claim a career best win rate. His run 2 starts back was a solid effort and this looks to be within reach.

DESTINY WARRIOR (4) was after the hat-trick last start when taken back to find position over the Redcliffe 2040m trip he then couldn’t work into it late. This is his 1st look at Albion Park and he can feature.

MACHSASWINGER (6) will take great benefit from his latest start when returning from a 20 month break on the sidelines. Too far back when the pace went on, he can look for a sharper effort here.

SELECTIONS: JUMPING JOLT (5), MAGOOGAN (3), DESTINY WARRIOR (4), MACHSASWINGER (6)
SUGGESTED BET: MAGOOGAN (3) to win

RACE EIGHT

TASSINI (3)
had been facing some wide gates and running nice races including her effort from gate 5 here 2 starts back when hitting the line strongly to be within 1.5m of the winner CROWNING GLORY. Looking to take them all the way over the 2138m last start she started in red figures and was grabbed late. Back to the mile she can dictate.

IM FREE FALLING (6) missed a top-three finish for the 1st time in his past 12 starts here on Tues when hitting the line strongly from well back to be 2m from the winner ONLY ONE PROMISE. 2 starts back he was charging home when only a half-neck away and he will be right in the fight again here.

BETTOR ATOM (10) was sent forward from gate 7 here last start and was able to get across to the pegs and taking control over the 2138m held them off to score a 4m victory. That ended a long run of outs and he will be thereabouts.

MAJORDOIT (5) was locked away on the pegs last start and was finding the line in good order to grab the bronze. A sound effort in the Golden Guitar Final 2 starts back, he won’t be far away here.

SELECTIONS: TASSINI (3), IM FREE FALLING (6), BETTOR ATOM (10), MAJORDOIT (5)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE NINE

EXCEPTIONAL MACH (3)
showed his superior gate speed last start and was looking to take them all the way over the 2138m trip when gunned down in the closing stages and forced to settle for 2nd. Back to the mile is a big plus and from the gate he can come out firing and look to hold them off.

MACH SAM (1) started from this gate last start and with the cosy trip chased home to grab the bronze when 3m from the winner. He couldn’t go with them the start prior and with the cosy trip on offer again here he will be closer to the action and be ready to issue a closing shot.

RAESAWINNER (8) does his best work when saved for a closing shot and from this gate he should get the perfect trip and be ready to strike. A good 2nd here 3 starts back, he hasn’t been suited his past 2.

STIRLING WILLIAM (5) rolled forward to find the breeze over the 2138m last start and after the tough run just wilted in the closing stages. A strong 2nd 2 starts back when working hard from gate 7, the return to the mile is in his favour.

SELECTIONS: EXCEPTIONAL MACH (3), MACH SAM (1), RAESAWINNER (8), STIRLING WILLIAM (5)
SUGGESTED BET: EXCEPTIONAL MACH (3) to win
