RACE TWO

JUST ROKIN (1) started fav here over this trip 4 starts back from a 2nd line gate and it took the full length of the stretch to grab the win. Her past 3 have been in mares qualifiers with the past 2 when working in the run. Back to the good alley she looks to get her chancer to lead and dictate.

TASSINI (8) took on a mares qualifier last start and from gate 12 was working home well from a long way back. She chased over the AP mile 2 starts back to grab the bronze behind HARD TO HEAR and with a strong Redcliffe record where she has been in the money at 6 of 7 starts she can challenge.

TAYLOR HOOD (3) rolled to the breeze from gate 7 at AP last start and after the tough run only faded in the latter stages. Runner-up twice from 2 appearances here on the triangle, he has claims.

ROLLING ALONG (7) had an early look for the front before finding the trail here 2 starts back and was in the mix when beaten a half-neck. He will get the cosy trip here and can be ready to take the closing shot when the gaps arrive.

SELECTIONS: JUST ROKIN (1), TASSINI (8), TAYLOR HOOD (3), ROLLING ALONG (7)
SUGGESTED BET: JUST ROKIN (1) to win

RACE THREE

GIVE ME A GO (7) will need some factors in his favour from this gate but with the chance that the 1 is able to hold them out, he should enjoy a cosy trip behind the speed. His run 3 starts bac over the 2040m trip was strong when facing the breeze and with a rub of the green can take a tricky race.

SWEET SCOOT (2) snagged back from gate 5 last start and was too far back to challenge with MISS MIA taking the prize. That followed successive 3rd placed runs, albeit well beaten in each however with the good gate here she can look to finish in the money.

BETTERTHAN TORQUE (5) hasn’t had the best of luck in recent starts and will be relying on some of that from this wide gate. Her 2nd here 4 starts back was a nice effort and if able to limit her work can feature.

MINION GIRL (4) looked to make the most of her good gate last start and led them up when tiring late and holding on for the bronze. Fitter for the run following a freshen she has some claims here.

SELECTIONS: GIVE ME A GO (7), SWEET SCOOT (2), BETTERTHAN TORQUE (5), MINION GIRL (4)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE FOUR

SACHE GIRL (1)
will find this much easier than her last start where she was far from disgraced in a mares event over the AP mile behind SWEET AS. Fading off after working hard in the run here 2 starts back, she lands the gate to make the most of her early speed and can recapture some form.

RIVERLEIGH WILLIAM (4) rolled forward from gate 5 here 2 starts back before finding cover and chased hard. Not suited at AP on Sat night when landing the 2nd line gate over the mile, this looks to be a more suitable race and from the gate can find early position to challenge.

MAJOR GENERALJUJON (8) couldn’t find position last start and was forced to retreat and once back in the pack the tempo was then against him. 3rd to RUTHLESS ARMBRO 2 starts back he is right in the fight.

DYNAMIC DEEJAY (9) did his share of early work when wide out from gate 6 and trying to find position. The start prior he hit the line strongly from the back to grab the silver and can place here.

SELECTIONS: SACHE GIRL (1), RIVERLEIGH WILLIAM (4), MAJOR GENERALJUJON (8), DYNAMIC DEEJAY (9)
SUGGESTED BET: SACHE GIRL (1) to win

RACE FIVE

PROJECTILE (2) was a winner here 4 starts back when sitting in the pocket trail from inside the 2nd line he packed too many guns in the closing stages for a stylish win. His 3 runs since that win have all been solid including last start when fighting hard from the breeze. This looks his chance to cash-in.

BIG BEAT (6) was after the hat-trick last start when starting from inside the 2nd line. Locked away in the run he forced clear and chased hard to be 8m from the winner. His previous 2 runs were all the way victories where he never looked in danger when dictating. The gate hurts but he can threaten.

REAL KNUCKY (1) has been below his best since returning from a freshen but prior to the let-up had been in the money at 8 of his previous 12. With a cosy trip in the trail he can turn it around here.

ULTIMATE AD (3) made the most of the pocket trail last start and once the gap opened he was able to scoot through and claim the prize. Settling handy from this gate he will be in the mix once again.

SELECTIONS: PROJECTILE (2), BIG BEAT (6), REAL KNUCKY (1), ULTIMATE AD (3)
SUGGESTED BET: PROJECTILE (2) to win

RACE SIX

LURAH (2)
heads back to the triangle after her recent outings have been at AP in much stronger contests than this. Buried along the pegs last start from inside the 2nd line, she was in need of space and just lost some momentum before closing late and beaten 6m. She charged home 2 starts back and this looks ideal.

SPRINGFIELD SPIRIT (9) started from this gate last start over the longer 2280m trip and just faded the closing stages. That followed a similar trip when sent forward and only beaten 3m in a nice effort. He doesn’t get any favours from this gate but can throw down a challenge.

BONNIE JUJON (7) will need a slice of luck from this gate but if able to find space with track to work with can close strongly. In the money at her past 4 in succession, she chased hard last start and just needs some luck here.

IFOUNDTHEBEACH (4) was locked away on the pegs at Inverell last start from a 2nd line gate when finding the line well to be 3m from the winner. With good early speed he can have a look and has podium hopes.

SELECTIONS: LURAH (2), SPRINGFIELD SPIRIT (9), BONNIE JUJON (7), IFOUNDTHEBEACH (4)
SUGGESTED BET: LURAH (2) to win

RACE SEVEN

GOALKICKER (8) faces a big drop in class taking on this field. Last start she was sent to the post in red figures from gate 1 at AP and after leading them up faded in the closing stages. Her run 2 starts back was a tidy effort over the 2138m behind PINUP BOY which followed a luckless run. This looks ideal.

FAKEROCKNROLL (7) will be needing some factors in his favour from this alley but does chase out a good beginner and if able to find the passing lane with momentum can be taking the closing shot. He never saw space last start at Inverell from the trail and with the right run can arrive for the prize.

RITCHIE BEE (2) settled in the running line from a 2nd line gate last start and was chasing when finishing mid-field but only 4m from the winner. 3rd in successive starts prior to that he is in the mix.

TOO GOOD FOR YOU (4) put up a top effort here 2 starts back when only beaten a half-neck after striking trouble in the run. Too strong from the chair at Inverell last start, he can ask the questions.

SELECTIONS: GOALKICKER (8), FAKEROCKNROLL (7), RITCHIE BEE (2), TOO GOOD FOR YOU (4)
SUGGESTED BET: GOALKICKER (8) to win

RACE EIGHT

CROWNING GLORY (3)
started from the 2nd line here last start and was too far back with the race being controlled at the front by the eventual winner SKYFELLA CAM. Locked away on the pegs in a qualifier 2 starts back, with early speed he can look to dictate and break his Redcliffe maiden.

PLATINUM ROULETTE (4) was having his 1st look at the triangle last start when lading a 2nd line gate. Settling back in the pack the run was sound under the circumstances with the speed and tempo up front. Only grabbed late when 3.5m from the winner 2 starts back, he can throw down a challenge.

ELLIOTT BROMAC (1) will take good benefit from his latest start when returning from a break without a trial to tune up. A winner over this trip 3 starts back, he can strike off a cosy trip.

FIOKI (10) will find this a shade easier than recent starts. Too far back when chasing a sizzling  tempo from the front last start, he is a three-time winner from 8 starts here and will swoop home strongly.

SELECTIONS: CROWNING GLORY (3), PLATINUM ROULETTE (4), ELLIOTT BROMAC (1), FIOKI (10)
SUGGESTED BET: CROWNING GLORY (3) to win

RACE NINE

UNASSUMING CHAMP (1)
was driven aggressively from the 2nd line here 2 starts back over the sprint trip and within 500m had been able to press through the field and take control and the score a comfortable victory. He only went under a half-head last start and gets every chance to dictate here.

ZED CODE (2) found running line cover from this gate last start but couldn’t get into the contest in the closing stages over the 2040m trip. 2 starts back she was hitting the line strongly from inside the 2nd line and only 4m from the winner. Back to the sprint trip suits and she can feature in this.

WEASEL (9) had put the writing on the wall with a pair of tidy performances including a head 2nd and then last start franked those runs when finishing best to claim a good win. He is never far away.

DOOLITTLE DANDY (7) wasn’t suited last start when rolling forward and working in the run before finding cover over the AP mile. Placed in his previous 2 starts he will get the cosy trip here.

SELECTIONS: UNASSUMING CHAMP (1), ZED CODE (2), WEASEL (9), DOOLITTLE DANDY (7)
SUGGESTED BET: UNASSUMING CHAMP (1) to win
