RACE TWO

SIR BULSKI (2) will be fitter again following his latest appearance when 3rd up from a spell as he begins his 4YO campaign. Asked to roll the sleeves outside the leader last start, he was game to the wire when 6m in arrears of the winner. A sound 3rd when returning from the 2nd line 3 starts back, this looks within reach.

JINGLES BROMAC (7) has proven to be an enigma as each key used in unlocking what he has to offer gets jammed. Last start he made an early error before copping interference in the run to end his chances. Although he has missed the board in all 4 starts here at headquarters, there has been an excuse, or it has been against much tougher opponents. This might be what he is looking for.

MISTER DECORUM (6) was forced to hang tough last start at Kilcoy and was best of the chasing pack behind the clear out winner GOSLING IN FLIGHT. Doing his share of work the start prior, he can feature here.

THE RAGNBONE MAN (4) could not maintain the rage from the front last start after firing out from gate 2 to take control. Buried the start prior from a wide gate, he can fire the 1st shots again here.

SELECTIONS: SIR BULSKI (2), JINGLES BROMAC (7), MISTER DECORUM (6), THE RAGNBONE MAN (4)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE THREE

DELIGHTFUL REASON (2)
backs up from Tuesday where she had the finishing power to sweep on by in claiming an 8m victory. Forcing into the clear after being buried in transit the start prior when grabbing the bronze behind SCOTCH EN ICE, she can be close enough to the action to strike again.

DESPONDENT (6) fired off the arm from gate 5 here 2 starts back before opting for the trail. Returning a tidy performance behind the smart GOING FOR GOLD to be 3m in arrears, it had followed a 2m 2nd at the 2138m. Fading late after a tough run last start, early position will be key to his chances of challenging.

KETTERING GIRL (8) has been in consistent touch without landing a recent breakthrough. Placed at 6 of her past 8 starts, she did some early work to secure position last start when holding on for 3rd. With 2nd line options she can feature.

FEEL THE THUNDER (4) started from gate 9 at Redcliffe 2 starts back and despite the tough alley found the right conditions to land the prize. Only 5m from BOOMCHUCKALUCKA last start, he is in the mix.

SELECTIONS: DELIGHTFUL REASON (2), DESPONDENT (6), KETTERING GIRL (8), FEEL THE THUNDER (4)
SUGGESTED BET: DELIGHTFUL REASON (2) to win

RACE FOUR

CAPTAINS PICK (7) is still searching for his 1st 3YO victory and is just starting to prove a little tricky to read exactly where he is at. Placing in 5 of his 6 starts since returning, his 5th 2 starts back was a huge effort when forced to retreat after being wide for the first 600m. The gate is a stinger again, can this be the breakthrough.

MAGGIE (8) rolled forward from gate 6 over the mile 2 starts back and despite the tough trip first over, she had the answers to claim a gritty victory. Again, sent forward to do it the tough way last start, she was in for the fight and was throwing it down all the way to get within a pimple of the winner. With a cosy trip, she will be probing for gaps.

RANCHO MAN (1) started from inside the 2nd line last start and from the pocket trail finished midfield when 8m in arrears of the leader and winner. He will be trying to fight them off from this alley.

MONTANA PRIDE (5) was stepping up to the 2138m for the 1st time in his career last start when he found them a bit too slippery despite an economical trip. Back to the mile suits and he can feature.

SELECTIONS: CAPTAINS PICK (7), MAGGIE (8), RANCHO MAN (1), MONTANA PRIDE (5)
SUGGESTED BET: CAPTAINS PICK (7) to win

RACE FIVE

GOPATI (1)
is a 4YO stepping out in Aus for the 1st time after crossing the Tasman to join the Donny Smith barn. Formerly prepared by the All Stars, he was last seen on Show Day at Addington back in November when 4th to JAWBREAKER. Not seen in public since arriving, he must be taken on trust 1st up from this alley.

DENNINGTON HEIGHTS (6) set the tempo last start and with the speed on throughout was trying to fight them off. Clinging on for the bronze, it was a stylish win by STINGER LINDENNY to get past him. Tackling qualifiers at his previous 4 outings, the gate is a stinger, but he is going well enough to make a play.

KIAMASROSIE (3) started from inside the 2nd line last start and was soon away from the inside to work around them. Content to do it the tough way, she was strong to the line when 6m from the winner and can be thereabouts once again.

HOT EMBERS (4) fired off the arm early before taking the trail and was best of the chasers behind the in-form TEARAWAY DIAMOND. Fitter again after 2 runs back from a break, he is in the mix.

SELECTIONS: GOPATI (1), DENNINGTON HEIGHTS (6), KIAMASROSIE (3), HOT EMBERS (4)
SUGGESTED BET:

RACE SIX

GOSLING IN FLIGHT (8)
eased into the running line last start over this trip and chased home behind some handy types as COOL AND CALCULATING defeated BIG WHEELS. A huge winner on the grass at Kilcoy 2 starts back when posting a 47m winning margin, he looks set for the right trip to make the closing shot a winner.

GOJOE (6) was sent around them from the 2nd line at Redcliffe last start and required to work hard in the run before fading under the pressure as RANIERI arrived. Wide gates have been his nemesis in recent outings and despite landing another tough alley here, limiting the burn can see him feature in this line-up.

GRETELS GIRL (1) tackled the Redcliffe sprint trip last start when leading deep into the stretch before APACHE WHITESOX cruised by. With good early speed, she will be gripping on and trying to fight them off.

CHIASSO (2) makes her 1st appearance in Qld for Wayne Waltisbuhl and arrives a last start Tamworth winner. Sent straight to the front and taking them all the way in that event, she stays under watch.

SELECTIONS: GOSLING IN FLIGHT (8), GOJOE (6), GRETELS GIRL (1), CHIASSO (2)
SUGGESTED BET: GOSLING IN FLIGHT (8) to win

RACE SEVEN

ICE PICK ANGIE (8)
was shooting for the hat-trick of wins here at The Creek last start when landing gate 6 over the mile. Easing off the arm to secure position, she was looking to trail the eventual winner MASTER CATCH into the contest. The widest runner in the stretch to be 8m in arrears, she looks set for the ideal trip here to take the snipers shot.

POWER SURGE (1) eased to the pegs from gate 2 here 2 runs back over this trip when making a strong dive in the closing stages to get within a half-neck of the winner INTRANSIT. Taking cover in a much stronger Band 5 event here last start, she may have been a touch closer with better luck in the latter stages. From the gate she gets the chance to challenge.

DOUBLE OR NOTHING (6) has been kept fresh since his last appearance when opting for the trail from gate 1 and then finishing with the bronze. Changing barns and now prepared by John Durston, he is podium hope 1st up.

SWEET AS (2) has been racing well without much really going her way of late. Snagged back from a wider gate last start, the closing speed over the 2138m made it tough for her to offer. Tucking in behind the speed she is a place hope.

SELECTIONS: ICE PICK ANGIE (8), POWER SURGE (1), DOUBLE OR NOTHING (6), SWEET AS (2)
SUGGESTED BET: ICE PICK ANGIE (8) to win

RACE EIGHT

MACHS MARETA (9)
made her Qld debut 2 runs back from inside the 2nd line where she was angled wider and finished strongly wide off the track to arrive for the prize at the 2138m trip. Gate 7 was her undoing last start when retreating early and then struggling to chime in. With the likelihood of a solid tempo up front, she can arrive.

AQUA SANCTA (10) is another 1st starter in Aus for Donny Smith and arrives with 5 victories in the Shaky Isles. 3rd on Kaikoura Cup Day behind WILLIAM WALLACE, he was last seen on Show Day when 5th over the 1980m. The gate stings first up without a public hit out, but his NZ form suggests he should be a factor.

ROYAL OBSESSION (2) had placed 3rd in 3 of his 4 previous starts including a strong finishing run from a wide gate behind COOL AND CALCULATING. Franking his solid performances last start when finishing over the top of them to claim a smart win, he can be close to the action here to challenge.

RANIERI (1) found his race last start at Redcliffe to capitalise and finish best from the 2nd line in claiming his 1st Qld victory. He can opt for the economical trip and be searching for the gaps.

SELECTIONS: MACHS MARETA (9), AQUA SANCTA (10), ROYAL OBSESSION (2), RANIERI (1)
SUGGESTED BET: MACHS MARETA (9) to win

RACE NINE

TIZ A SIZZLER (4)
returned from a let-up with a strong win when sent to the breeze from gate 6. Allowed time to press to that position, he then flexed his muscle in the closing stages when putting away the leader in a pair of sub 28 closing panels. Fitter for the run, he can rinse and repeat.

BEE GEES BANDIT (9) has had his runs spaced with his last outing coming after a seven week break and he lines up here 5 weeks since his latest appearance. That was at Redcliffe where he speared to the lead and once in control fought off the challengers in claiming a smart win. From the gate he can make a closing challenge.

FEELINGFORARAINBOW (10) found conditions to suit last start when able to utilise gate 1 to his advantage to take them all the way. He lands the tough gate here but can be working into it.

CORSINI (2) settled in the 1x1 trail last start at the mile when making a closing play to grab the silver behind LUCKY UNLUCKY. Tucking in behind the speed again here she can chime in late.

SELECTIONS: TIZ A SIZZLER (4), BEE GEES BANDIT (9), FEELINGFORARAINBOW (10), CORSINI (2)
SUGGESTED BET: TIZ A SIZZLER (4) to win
